- A 22-minute documentary taken from the Austin Psych Fest #2 DVD, which has been out-of-print and unavailable for purchase for several years now.
Sky Saxon passed away shortly after this was filmed. This was his last performance.

I played in a band and did some recordings with Sky back in 84-85 in Hawaii. He was a friendly guy who lived with a couple of wives with many children. He had some weird beliefs (thought dogs were gods) but he was always cool. He always complimented me on bass and loved my hair Lol . Rip Sky

Sky sounds great! The best band since the Seeds. I sure miss him. Animals are angels and Sky is taking care of the dogs in heaven!!!!!

Sky was the headliner here on March 14, 2009 and he passed away on June 25th.

Yep, spell dog backwards! His blues band LP...had super blues harp playing on it! Djin Aquarian his brother is still around!
His voice is forced and no longer the same 😮. How sad. I used to be his biggest fan during the 60s. Now I don't know what this mess is.😢

I am just reading about Sky and I get the impression he was a lost soul after The Seeds break up. He looks tired and bummed. I'm I right?

+Christopher Garland IT MAY BE "WORLD SPIRITS", he repeats that phrase. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY'RE RIFFING on "Nobody Spoil My Fun", and Sky is improvising. He did that a lot. I saw him going off on a free form thing. Luckily , his backing band was tight enough that they could follow him.
