Thanks a lot for playing Bonesaw! We just launched the Early Access version with an in-game rulebook and the new Redemption game mode! We’re currently hard at work, adding more features and looking into online multiplayer for the 1.0 release! Cheers!
Just some input here. There should only be one skeletons trickery on board so it's not possible for it to be useless during rounds after it was aquired
@@CaykeSniffer This is great feedback! Thx! We will be adding more power cards to the game soon. This will bring more strategy to the Skeleton’s Trickery card!
Hey this is garbage idea guy tier feedback but it'd be kinda cool if he had little stitches on his fingers because he comments on you having all of yours at the start of the game
I like how the tutorial has the demon guy and you tapping fingers. I'd imagine walking by and seeing two dudes doing that seem a little funny until you see a saw pop out of the table.
I didn't even know so many people played that game, and the fact that someone loved it so much to create a unique game out of it is really nice to know.
regularly scheduled comment to praise the editors for adding context and hover-text for everything when relevant. time and time again I mistake the edits for the game being able to read my mind but it's actually the editors who can read minds
I think you're misinterpreting the forced attack chip. It means "force a player to attack a hand or force a player to attack the bell" not "force a player to choose between attacking a hand of your choice or the bell"
@@jankoodziej877 Because he forced the demon to attack it? It's just that you can choose any hand or the bell and that is what the enemy then has to attack. As opposed to you can choose any hand and then the enemy can choose to attack that hand or the bell
Omg i played chopsticks all the time as a kid. I played through our entire lunch break with my friend and we had a crowd watching us. Problem is eventually you fall into a pattern lol
@@TheGamingLegendsOfficial no? Chopsticks games aren't always balanced. In Nim games, the game is always balanced, no matter what moves are made, meaning it's not about "red player" or "blue player" having the advantage in a game state, but instead "player who's moving next" or "player who's not moving next"
I haven't played the game, but it looks very interesting. Would buy it for Switch or PS5. Hopefully there will be unlockable things like skins for hands, other characters (opponents), BGM and tables for long-term motivation. And I also hope that different languages are supported. And I think a VR mode would be really nice :)

Hey! I'm wondering if you guys intends to release Bonesaw on Switch, I really enjoyed the gameplay
@ Glad you enjoyed it! Our main focus is to finish the game on PC first, but console versions are definitely on our minds for after the 1.0 release!

we are truly in an Inscryption-like era of Aliensrock
This game is not even remotely close to inscryption though
Feels more like buckshot roulette-like
Inscryption made its own genre
@marazali2557 It has an aesthetic that is quite similar to Inscription
@@marazali2557Yes it is hahahah 😂 what are you talking about
no way they made chopsticks into a video game but with way too many rules
I never knew anyone else knew about that game
Without the extra rules it would be less fun as a video game
my friend and I played chopsticks so much in highschool we 'solved' it without ever memorizing anything lol. We just played that much
My family called it sticks
Always ended up with one person having 2 and 3 fingers and the other having 4 and 1, and then becoming a stalemate
I never knew this was an international game
Missed opportunity to use the family guy scene of Peter saying “who starts a conversation like that? I just sat down”
The player hand shaking is such a subtle but great detail.
I like how the tutorial has the demon guy and you tapping fingers. I'd imagine walking by and seeing two dudes doing that seem a little funny until you see a saw pop out of the table.
the start of the game does look very silly
Interesting concept but it would seem that the game currently is lacking a bit of meat on its fingers.
I think with some extra work this game could single-handedly take the market by storm.
@@owentucker6215 On the one hand, I can see that possibility, but on the other...

Absolutely 💯

FR, the game does a good job of it but the player doesn't always hover the item enough for a watching audience to read it out lol
Hey VSauce, Michael here! Where are your fingers?
No it's "Hey! VSauce here! You have 10 fingers... Or do you.
@@yakson_dugong I think he has said both in different ocassions.

I think you're misinterpreting the forced attack chip. It means "force a player to attack a hand or force a player to attack the bell" not "force a player to choose between attacking a hand of your choice or the bell"
Exactly
Then why did it specifically highlighted the hand he selected?

@ymiros0953 ah, alright
Rule 35: If it exists, there’s a roguelike of it. Chopstick edition.
no no no Rule 35 says "If there isn't, there will be." in regards to the previous Rule.
Doesn't 35 state: If there is none, it's your responsibility to make it?
Rule 35 is an extension of the previous rule
This isn't a rogue like

Double negative
Buckshot Roulette but with fingers...
it's better in my opinion
"I see you have all of your fingers."
- Who the fuck starts a conversation like that?! I just sat down!
Wow! What a game! Reminds me of buckshot roulette! Definitely interested in more!
i would like to keep my fingers
Yeah, personally I like all 10 of them
Already excited by the complexity all the mechanics bring!
A fun game to play before becoming king and starting a war
I knew the editor was a mtg player lmao 9:17 that deck is awesome
Me and my sibling played the finger game a ton as a kid, until we found the strat that can lock you into winning lol
My mind is blown by this game, seriously it is so good and I'm inclined to support it! 💜💜
Me too ✋️
Thank you for bringing this game to light! I haven't heard of it till I watched this video and now irs one of my favorite games of the year.
Great video 👍
I loved play this game when I was young, I used to play this very often with a transfer student. its fun to see it turn into a video game
hey this was pretty good, wold love to see more.
I feel like they under delivered on the hook of the game which is violent finger loss.
Really cool!
I would love to watch more
6:50 the devils pissed now. He’s flipping you off!!
This is fantastic
they should give it an award

Where did this kind of Inscryption/Buckshot Roulette/Resident Evil VII DLC games even come from?
Iam guessing resident evil came up first with the losing fingers concept

Clancy: this isn't fair I was forced to play Blackjack!
The truly shocking thing in this video is that the editor plays magic
I would love to play this game irl just without the cutting hands part.

So nolstagic, we used to play this game in the 90s when we were kids. We called it chopsticks
I love that this game has a story motivation to it! Eternal damnation is definitely one of the only stakes high enough to risk your fingers for!
Fingscryption?
What kind of twisted mind would come up with a game like this! This is so cool!
Wow great vid! More please!!

I just crushed my finger with a 400 pound plate of steel last week, this video brought a smile too my face.
I'm honestly worried about the animation if you get hit by the saw

So it's Nim with enough extra rules to prevent it's status as a "solved" game making it meaningless? Interesting.
It's based on a game called chopsticks
