The IP rating is one huge issue that Tecno is facing. Tecno as a company is big enough to design a fully water-resistant device, what on earth are they waiting for?
It would have been such a boost for the Camon 30 Pro 5G and I mean they made its display usable when the device is wet so not sure why they couldn't go an extra mile and get it IP certified.
Its a powerful device, your 10 cons are irrelevant to the point of owning a phone. The only concern is the Software update is two years from the date of manufacture, which is 4 years of use for people who bought early, so 4 years is good use. The only issue is have is the Earbuds 3 that came with it, it requires touching if you must make a call after playing music, which is very inconveniencing. That's the only downside for me.
Awesome! Different people tick over different things but yeah it is a powerful device and you can check out my video on its 10 pro’s and reasons to buy one.
I'm contented purchasing it.. The camera is very good and video recording with 4k 60fps resolution is superb.. It doing fine with gaming also... Nothing to complain yet?..
I still think the phone is okay for the price. I don't think there's any better phone for this price. Especially when you consider that it comes with wireless earbuds, a case, screen protector and charger which you'll have to buy if you go for the galaxy a55 which also has bloatware. Albeit more useful bloatware plus a better software experience and more premium build.
how do you need expandable storage with 512gb 😅😅😅 ..... is any one still using wired earphones... Mine has been in a pool and its perfect.... you are just making up issues....
I think the IP rating depends on the country? I'm not sure, although it isn't in the spec sheet in my country either, they do promote it on their social media, especially tiktok, that tecno camon 30 having IP54 across all variants. And users in my country say the same thing as well, no one had issues with water splashes and dust. I've also seen in some posts on reddit and forums that some countries only have IP54 just for the premier variant.
The only problem I see is it's draining battery faster than my old phone with 5000mah but with snapdragon 860. Probably cause the screen is so sensitive it open up on my pocket and the in screen finger print
Check your active background apps and close them, check your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hotspot settings, check your screen brightness settings as well as battery settings.
No lags and no bugs in my experience and overall an amazing device. I haven't used the vivo v30 so I can't say but for its price range the Camon 30 Pro 5G is a beast.
The only down side for me , it's the price since all the phones have pros and cons nothing is perfect.
True and a very valid point

Lol, hopefully no future complaints either
Thank you for your honest review, I was about to buy one and decided to choose Nothing Phone 2.
My pleasure and good choice 👍🏼
I'm yet to see a cons from this device 😂. You really did dig well. Great review boss.
😂😂 I had to dig deep lol.
Personally the software side is acceptable, but I still think it's a budget phone though

Very much still my favorite midrange device in this region so far.
Can you please tell is it screen has gorilla glass protection or not?
Nothing was specified so I’d be careful with it.
it's tough mine has had some bad falls no protector
It has a gorilla glass 5 screen from my knowledge
I wasn't expecting the phone to be IP rated
It would have been a huge bonus
Likely just splash resistant
how do you need expandable storage with 512gb 😅😅😅 ..... is any one still using wired earphones... Mine has been in a pool and its perfect.... you are just making up issues....
I guess the software part is fair,
the only downside for me are the bloat wares it comes with
Great review as always man
The bloatware is a pain.. Thanks bro.

Yea they do have some spec differences In various regions
400$ is insane I only got mine for 190% maybe less.
Wow!! Seems the price fluctuates in different regions 😅
@@TechCityExplorer I think it's due to your country's import tax. Coz where I'm from we are flooded by International products especially Chinese ones.
@@PaufinTV oh yeah, that makes sense.
just bought one for about 250$ only.
Awesome!! 💯
Bought it for only $190. 💙
How's the battery life? I'm planning to get one.
Excellent
I can attest to this
The battery life is excellent@@TechCityExplorer
Does it heat up easily?
No it doesn't, I only notice it warm up during long periods of gameplay
@@TechCityExplorer oh thankyou brother for that feedback. I'm in the mall right now and looking for that beast phone
@@TechCityExplorer I've successfully bought mine today, I hope the battery will perform well
@@versuaaie6595 awesome, the battery is just fine. Nothing to worry about.
Thanks for your in depth review. Please help do same for the infinix GT 20 Pro. thanks......

I agree. Battery's draining really fast. Good thing is its 70w fast charging. Phone is fully charged in less than an hour.
I never experienced it but I sure had a worse experience with the Tecno spark 20 pro plus so I know what you mean.
Adjusting some of your device settings might help.
Battery draining is a problem for me also
please post touch sampling rate proof . because there is a huge misconception of it having 180hz only
are you for real???
@@jeffr249 what bro.., cAn u tell me touch sampling rate?
@@ahson13bhai 330hz or 360hz i tested it
$400? It's only $250 in our country
Really?? Damn, that is a steal.
Mine here in the Philippines cost 278$ or 16000 pesos
Really good price!
the only downside is ip rating and 2 year updates! fck why dont they just make it 5!
No idea why they held it back from being the absolute mid range beast.
what is touch sampling rate of this phone ?
360hz
@@TechCityExplorer confirmed? Some say it's only 180
I have just used 15gb and it says storage very low why
I have never experienced such, try a hard reset.
No glass protection like cornings is my issue
Terrible decision on their path especially for its price.
why my battery is draining so fast?
Gaming Yes but maximum with 60hz and half brightness is around 13hr
Check your active background apps and close them, check your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hotspot settings, check your screen brightness settings as well as battery settings.
Lcd is the problem, its easily broken
It has an AMOLED display but all screens should be given extra protection and handled with care.
how do you run out of 512 gb
Exactly 😂😂 that would be a task on its own.
I have camon 30 and it have alot of problems tecno and infinix need to improve i have even face problems in infinix to the hardware is bad
I personally have not experienced any problems but yeah they still have some improving to do
No specific type of glass used.
The back glass is sadly not specified
How ever it's screen is gorilla glass victus
trolling details any proof of that@@TechCityExplorer
I was saying this device is overpriced
Well it is not from Tecno, the current Economy makes it so.

🤣🤣 What's up with it?
@@TechCityExplorer bro is very bAD EVRYTHING ABUNT IT IS BAD BRO
I CAN'T EVEN DO A SCRENNRECORND ON IT
@@MANDALORboss oh, that is definitely weird. Maybe take it to a shop and have it checked.
I couldn't get you in 25% of your video because of your muffled speaking.
Feel free to use subtitles as the audio seems to work for majority of my viewers.
I think the Poco X6 pro is better having the Dimensity 8300..
Possibly, unfortunately it is not available in my region.
@@TechCityExplorer How about the Iqoo neo 9?
Q1- Is the phone overall ok? Any lag or bug ir technical issue?
Q2-Should I Buy tecno camon 30 pro 5g or Vivo v30e 5g
No lags and no bugs in my experience and overall an amazing device.
I haven't used the vivo v30 so I can't say but for its price range the Camon 30 Pro 5G is a beast.
the all you have notice to not consider to buy this phone is nonsense, hahahaha. 😂😂😂😂😅
you need to use caveman phone haha
