I'm 55 years old going to be 56 in a couple of months. I finished my BS in Biology in 2021 going to school part time and working full time. I finally finished but I'm am still doing the same thing for the last 17 years working in the emergency department as a tech. I was trying for PA school but it's been 3 years and still nothing so my motivation just faded away. I have a low GPA because all I wanted to do is finish school and move on to the next part of my life. I don't have kids and no girlfriend. I had a relationship but she left me when I told her I wanted to go back to school when I was working in the Ambulance and ER before starting my journey to get my BS.
It's be difficult for me because I don't have money to pay for classes to bump my GPA up. I'm still paying for all the bills I accumlated while trying to pay for school. I want to be a PT because I know that I would love it. I've personal trained before getting into the medical field and loved it. So now, I want to start my journey to become a PT. I'm not young but I'm in great shape. If I go to PT school I would do it full time and not work. I will get loans and have family help me. All I want to do is succeed and do something I love and be happy. I started looking around for school and I still need to take the GRE and get shadowing hours. I got to make this year (2024) the year that I get into PT school.
