OXpocalypse community role Mike - Crowd Control (molotovs) Andy - Scout (Stealthing and Looting) Ellen - Quartermaster (ovwrcook nuff said) Luke - Commander (Strategy and High Ground) Jane - Overlord .... i mean community leader
[Listens to the addition of leaders] "No telling what those particular priorities might be, so maybe pick your leaders carefully." We will build a great, great wall, and the zombies are going to pay for it!
I want character creation (at least on your first survivor) that way perma death will be extra harrowing and PTSD inducing after spending 2 hours (at least) building them.
Unlikely but if they start off like they did in State of Decay that would be enough for me. After spending a long time in my first play through Ed gets sick as you get to the Church, save Ed then I had to help him because he had the got scared trait. I took him out with Maya to the forest as the game sent me and I finished it. But me being me wanted to loot the area fast and run. I didn't count for the 2 Feral Zombies that attacked us and the massive gathering of zombies it would attract. Ed and Maya fought valiantly but in the end Ed sacrificed himself by setting himself on fire and all the other zombies killing all but one Feral Zombie. I tried to run away with Maya not knowing that was a bad idea at the time but ended up killing that bastard. I got back to base with a slither of health having had to leave the loot behind because it was too much to carry and I sneaked my way to the back of the Church. Since then I have never risked my companions in open spaces again.
High Marshal Helbrecht I know what you mean. It's moments like that, that really made the game. However image how much more intense that would be if in that situation Ed had been a character that you put time into building to resemble you or a friend. If he'd been a character you had an attachment to because you created them. That's why I want character creation, as unlikely as that might be.
James’s original State of Decay series was the first actual proof I saw that he is in fact a real man (and a legend), and not just a shared delusion created by the Oxbox hosts, which was clearly the most logical conclusion.
I still hate that part of the State of Decay 2 trailer where the guy stands there as a Juggernaut charges him, repeatedly trying to shoot a clearly empty rifle, and doesn't even try to run as the big beefcake tears him in half.
Crater Fist I have seen people do that before. In my opinion the zombies are too fast for guns and would be a bad idea using in the open world because in State of Decay 1 it only makes things worse during scavenging unless you act fast or know how to not waste ammo on body shots. That or be ripped apart by a pack of Feral ghouls.
Crater Fist I'm glad that it's just in a trailer for an open world game, not one where something like that would actually happen unless you let it happen haha
Well tbf, it's there to show off a few things like the ability to hop on the back of larger enemies, better animations, a character dying, and in a very brutal way, giving an example of the new gore/dismemberment system/visuals. Stupid move? Sure, but remember this is heavily inspired by zombie/horror pop culture...How many times have we seen silly, illogical decisions or indecision in horror movies i.e. tripping and falling all over the place while pursued by a maniac or monster, someone in pitch darkness going down to the creepy as hell basement all by themselves after hearing their name called etc. lol. It has a certain kind of charm, tongue in cheek if you will.
Can zombies still leap over ten foot tall fences with razer guards, spawn completely around your car when you open the door, or respawn infinitely from tiny shed until you've killed literally hundreds of zombies that've emerged from said shed and they are still coming? Cause that shit was annoying.
ItzForshen If a zombie seemingly teleports around the car (my interpretation was that it was stuck/not moving on the other side, and then suddenly appeared next to the character when they got out), could that not be the result of the game not running on good enough hardware? Or is lag the only thing that that causes?
depends, is it only the zombie or is it everything? if its only the zombie, then it is the softare (glitchy) if it is your whole screen (screenfreeze) yhea dhhu that is hardware. But what Throttle Kitty have written sounds like glitches.
Let Undead Labs take their time with State of Decay 2, saying it needs some "fine-tuning" is an understatement. State of Decay, as much as I love it. Is like a diamond... a very rough diamond covered in rock and dirt... it would have been perfect if they just polished it some more.
Joey Deguelle I agree especially with the glitches that occur in State of Decay that can lead to you restarting the whole game because something has gone wrong.
They needed to do a lot more work on one. Even the "final" edition was littered with bugs. Some things that should have easily been fixable by programming standards. But maybe they will have learned with this one
I'm so freaking excited for this game. The first one was so good, none of the little glitches or annoyances bothered me. This polished and seemingly well-executed game is at the top of my to-get list
I had an AWFUL time with it. The truck drove itself - usually at full speed into a ditch or off the broken bridge. I would try to melee and the character would taunt 50% of the time... Just frustrating. I requested a refund within an hour or so. :'( I hope the next one will be playable.
I'm not even a zombie fanatic but I loved the shit out of State of Decay. It says a lot about the state of gaming today that a janky, simplistic game that's essentially a Walking Dead mod for GTA is one the few I'm actually interested in.
KaptainMorganWo never played the first one bro because there was no co-op but I love Zombie games. But I'm glad state of decay 2 has co op because I heard that the 1st one was good but it felt unfinished but I'mma try out state of decay 2 though.
You could execute people in the 1st one with a story mission being wholly dedicated to it, unfortunately when I did it my character's weapon was a sledge hammer, probably not the quick way out they were hoping for...
Black Fever or being gravelly ill gave that option. I remember not killing my survivor because it was Marcus and he ended up turning and killing Maya, Ed and the Pastor.
I was on that mission, wanted to execute the guy with a rifle, go out quick and dignified. I accidentally kicked him in the head and it exploded instead...
alas there is still leaving them to massive horde of zombies to die when they were at first trying to get supplies because they had neglected the necessary materials to live so they had to join a random reason being no friends online to help and then went to the current situation (i don't know if i was being serious or not so just forget everything please)
Have you not seen 90% of anyone who's obsessed with politics, they're all braindead shambling around infecting other good people. Also, most people with cell phones are basically zombies at this point.
James Fonda Actually... There are real life zombies if you look it up. They're not like the fictional zombies or consumer masses but more so, hypnotized workers. Look it up, it's actually quite intriguing.
There was actully a disease in the medevil times that was a mix of rabies and a ment other which basicly made a person go canabalistic and could infect others but it wasn't actully a zombies thing just simuler
One thing that would be interesting, is customized nicknames, or even fully customized names. That way when one of our survivors sharing the name with our mother get's ripped to shreds it feels that much more horrifying, or satisfying. Depends on the relationship with your mum I guess.
Only thing I hope they change is the baby sitting. The constant annoyance of having to return to your safe house after 15 minutes because your survivors attracted a horde got really annoying.
I just hope this one allows autosaving to be turned off and an option to disable the game from progressing on it's own! I loved the first game and expansions, but because I wouldn't play for like 2 days, I came back to a base where someone would have gotten eaten at best... Every time I played the game I was forced to start a new game because of that! As for the autosaving, I want that when bored I can go on a killing spree just for the fun of it instead of worrying about losing my entire progress...
Bought state of decay one a few day's ago, and i really love the concept of the game. Only needs a bit more polishing, seems they will do this now. Defo buying it once it get positive feedback Hope microsoft is not ignoring steam on release, game needs all the sales it can get. Because i just like the concept of a open world game with co up were you can search for survivors and build your own base.
Always hated juggernauts, cause it usually meant someone was going to die. Unless you had a good shotgun or launcher to keep them down (or have an absurd amount of petrol bombs)
I remember once in the 1st game I ran over a juggernaut (big fat zombie) 3 times at full speed then hit him with one of the best melee weapons 10 times and then he just grabbed me and ripped me apart. Hopefully in the 2nd game they wont be as tough....
silviu ciortan if anything, they’ll make this game more challenging. The incorporation of coop and more creative ways to deal with those threats. I feel your agitation with the juggernaut though.
I can't wait for this game. I just hope it is a bit more gritty and forces more difficult choices that affect the NPC's more like if you have to cut off an arm they may suffer for a long time or hate you even turn on you for not just killing them or they could become fanatical and even start a cult around a survivor that would be amazing.
I think it'd be cool to do Co-Op like Watch Dogs 2 where you have the option to run into random players who are near you on the map making it seem like you just randomly meet survivors
Not going to lie but since seeing it on the E3 livestream this game is looking very interesting to me, glad it has co-op - not so glad I can't shoot my friend when he inevitably becomes infected with blood plague.
its slightly different, the black fever is you just die. Blood Plague is when someone is going to turn into a zombie. yes they both show similarities but still slightly different, besides black fever was that water pollution by the dam, this infection is within zombies now.
You can execute your own survivors if they get too sick in the first game. It comes up as a quest although I have no idea what happened if you left it too long. Please gimmie more of these SOD2 videos! Can't wait to hear more
Gangers you can always improve their skills and abilities by using that character. Or atleast that how it was in the first one. Hopefully it’s the same
If you remember, you later go to the reservoir with sgt Eric tan to find rotting corpses in the water with flys every where. This water was what supplied Marshall and the rest of Trumbull valley. People got black fever from obviously drinking the water
I've honestly never played the first game. Seeing that SoD2 will be on the Game Pass, and planning to get the Pass in about a week, has me interested. I may have to try the first one before this comes out. Something I'm wondering about coop though. Do you literally "drop in, drop out"? Or do you have to manually make your way to the flair's location? Because I feel like having to travel to the flair would be more fun. It would also mean helping someone is even more dangerous. You risk dying, just trying to get there. One thing I hope to see in a 3rd game (if it's not in this one, which I doubt it is), is the ability to make a group of "less nice" survivors. Negan style leaders and groups that can raid other player bases. You'd risk a lot by doing it, but if you have enough power and weapons, you could try. You might come out of it with more resources, or your whole group might just die.
As normal zombies were just infected humans; the freaks had physical differences: Ferals have stronger muscles but no eyes and rely on smell (hence why they are in a stationary crouch position when they are alone)
This sounds good, but what I want to know is that does your base and survivors carry on when you turn the game off? That was by far the worst thing about the first game and why i stopped playing, id get a base started up, have to turn the game off because of irl commitments, and come back to a Base where all my good characters were dead and id have to start over. Screw that.
state of decay 2 looks like it has the story cut scenes the first one needed and co-op :) i did not think id be into a zombie game but the survival aspect of it is cool as hell
Those days are pretty much nonexistent sadly. Like I said above about PvP/having friendly fire activated, they might add it in either a patch or future expansion, ya never know, depends on the success of the game + demand for a couch co-op option. Makes sense for an expansion imo. Test the waters, build experience with the new co-op feature getting feed back and then implement it at a later date.
It's most likely because they want permadeath to always be on, and permadeath would be horrible in pvp/friendpy fire. They probably want to make sure there is no opportunity where there is no permadeath to keep the player alert and still afraid.
Ninja NikNik They could add a duel feature where two players could 1v1, both would have to accept, sort of like in borderlands. When one player wins, instead of permadeath it just downs them, and they get back up.
Better base building? Finally! That was one of the things that REALLY bugged me in the first game, that there was no spot big enough to build the whole range of facilities. To have to find and assign the right people to achieve this is easily worth the trouble.
except they still can... by luring zombies to them using noise devices or just leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere and stealing the car ect. they just cant directly shoot people.
Loved the first game, so I'm sure I'll love this one. One thing I hope they'll add will be loot respawns. Can't tell you how many times I looted every area in the game and my people just died out due to it. If they do that, I will officially put this on my list of badass games, right next to Skyrim, Borderlands 2 (No pun intended), and GoW 4.
.. alot of these things you could do in the previous game barring co op; survivours had unique traits, certian skills and you could perform mercy killings.
Man... State of Decay is a game that I’m Always interested in playing, but the developers seems be sure to add something that simply keep me out of it. For the first one it was that offline progression system. Now, it is this Windows 10 exclusive bs.
Thiago Leão To be fair the offline progression isn't bad and you don't lose that many resources anymore in fact if your community is large enough it handles itself.
+High Marshal Helbrecht Your message itself already points an argument against it. The fact that I can lose things in the game when I’m not playing it is already bad enough. This is not an online game, so things should not happen to my community if I’m not playing it. And besides all the problems that I could list here, what made me abandon this game without looking back was the fact that every single time I could sit down to play it I started the game in the middle of the night. Hell, if I got myself the trouble of leaving my game at day time, I don’t want to pick it up at night. And the worst part is that this could be an off/on option. There is no reason for this to be imposed on the player. You want to have this feature, ok, but let me turn it off. And they never patched it, even considering that they got tons of complaints about it, they kept it as an obligatory feature. This is stupid.
Calvin Lomax Depends on the creators realy...and when you think about it we actualy never had a game with zombies that was open world with a said number of zombies
It's basically a zombie movie, "On the run from the zombie-like victims of the Rage" that's from the Wiki. Zombie-like victims. Aka they act similar to zombies, the world is in a apocalypse state like zombie movies.
Well basically if we're going to go down that root then a lot of zombie movies aren't zombies since what we think of as zombies is actually a more modern take on the Haiti Zombie legends.
Breakdown is the best mode, hope SoD2 lets you build a base in most of the buildings, && not just ones with a “perimeter fence.” Also, would be nice if the cars don’t flip so easily. This best zombie survival game out there.
HunterFox do it up like telltale Choices that effect your relationship and movie offers and stuff If you lose all your money and friends he kills himself or dies from a overdose or something
Yeah, because a video game about a depressed horse will be the game of the year. That's like saying make the walking dead a musical. Just doesn't work m8
Hussain Abbas i played the through the first one last month for the first time. I did not die once and kept all survivors alive. Its really not that hard if you always have a gun, 30 spare rounds, 3 meds, 3 snacks and a melee weapons.
Ghost Nappa Lol, that's exactly my strat, big bastards aren't so tough once you have a full auto with that slow motion time effect. 6 shots to the head in under a second and the big un goes down.
Matthews Gaming Zone You can get an used Xbox one for pretty cheap. Check out Facebook Marketplace, EBay, or craigslist. Or go all out like I did and get the One X!
Matthews Gaming Zone just dont play it on Xbox first one was optimised horribly on console and definitely wasn't guna buy an xbox so i literally spent like a grand on a PC🙈
Indeed, Although i wish it was being released on steam. The windows store and UWP is kinda pants. My guess is it'll be the same as Quantum Break. It'll be exclusive to UWP until a later date when it'll come to Steam.
Name one other popular game with drop in drop out multiplayer. =/
7 ปีที่แล้ว +2
Birlzey Why? Because they compared the coop system?
7 ปีที่แล้ว
Throttle Kitty Um? Where have you been the last decade or so? A LOT of games have drop in drop out multiplayer. You seem a little young. Maybe that is why you don't know it exists child.
Please tell me you can pause the game when you're not playing basically that (and coop) was the only thing i wanted more from the first game. I get their concept (it was cool) and would enjoy to leave it in as an option so i can do it sometimes for a day or two, but not indefinitely
I loved the first one... But I was dreadful at it. I'm really looking forward to the sequel. (I recently tried to play SOD1 again recently in 4K maxed out... The shadows were awful and the graphics just a bugged mess. Wonder if it got fixed?)
Something that I wish a zombie game would do is have a limited number of zombies. Meaning instead of zombies just spawning and spawning and spawning, you can EVENTUALLY kill of all the zombies so you have a end goal to work towards. Probably really hard to do or not possible at all but it would be cool to see
OXpocalypse community role
Mike - Crowd Control (molotovs)
Andy - Scout (Stealthing and Looting)
Ellen - Quartermaster (ovwrcook nuff said)
Luke - Commander (Strategy and High Ground)
Jane - Overlord .... i mean community leader
Rico Maria Rivera James who brings us Oxbox and Oxtra
Jane will essentially be Negan from the Walking Dead
Luke is the high ground..... why doesn't Ellen get a shot?
James is the guy who runs the security cameras and perimeter alarms. :D
Lol someone got reqt by the white walkers lol
It looks like a more polished and improved version of the 1st one. This might be that open world zombie game that I always wanted.
Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough Have you tried Dying light?
Alex lion Dying light is amazing. But it's more action based. He prob prefers the more realistic survival elements of SoD.
Danny McBride Hope so.
Dragon Slayer Ornstein and Executioner Smough fortnite
Lazy Daze I actually like Dying Light, and Dead Rising as well. I just really wanted a survival zombie game that had the same ideas of State of Decay.
[Listens to the addition of leaders]
"No telling what those particular priorities might be, so maybe pick your leaders carefully."
We will build a great, great wall, and the zombies are going to pay for it!
Oh no, NOT QIN!
ECKS DEE
Spyglass LOL
Best comment😂😂
Congratulations Spyglass...you just won the internet. Your trophy is in the mail (COD so you have to pay for it).
I want character creation (at least on your first survivor) that way perma death will be extra harrowing and PTSD inducing after spending 2 hours (at least) building them.
Nick M-S agreed
What do you think the chances are of it happening though?

thank you for sharing that. I can almost feel the panic you must have felt

I hate the fact that the rifle is hovering above his left hand.

Who else would get incredibly stressed out every time they’d leave base in the first game? 😄
Farai The Producer meeeee!
XD
Farai The Producer no joke I always let out a heavy sigh when leaving base or a loud groan when having to go out at night.
Yeah leaving was a pain
Farai The Producer depended on the mode for example lifeline would make me paranoid however the original mode I would be ok
I still haven’t finished first game lol

Throttle Kitty I only remember having problems with the 10-foot wall crap, other then that I've never run into those other problems
Serdren Daniel Same here. Those other problems sound like mod or maybe computer hardware issues if it was on PC.
hardware has nothing to do with glitches, hardware is for performance. I dont want to be mean, but dont talk like you know, if you dont :)

Jack Napier what's the delay over, I'm genuinely curious
All i need is regenerating recourse's and i'm happy.
I'm so freaking excited for this game. The first one was so good, none of the little glitches or annoyances bothered me. This polished and seemingly well-executed game is at the top of my to-get list
Justin Arroyo I'm ready for Spring man haha
I still absolutely love the first State of Decay and play it often. I can't wait to play the next one
Michael Girodat same. Really got into it again the last few weeks, it would be fantastic if the original had multiplayer
Sam J It has coop.
same
Arya Stark he is talking about the ORIGINAL.
I had an AWFUL time with it. The truck drove itself - usually at full speed into a ditch or off the broken bridge. I would try to melee and the character would taunt 50% of the time... Just frustrating. I requested a refund within an hour or so. :'( I hope the next one will be playable.

Give James another series once this comes out please!
It would be wrong not to!
Andy Mcp HELL YEAH!!!!! James deserves another chance at this game man!!!
88th'd
Since it has co-op, that means we could have James playing with the rest of the OXbox and/or OXtra team :) That would be nice to see.
I loved his videos!
NEED THIS GAMEEEE
SAAAMMEEE
SAME!
I've never preordered a game before so this will be a first for me because it's worth every dollar.
you wont miss anything from the first one, dont be an hyped idiot

Ah, shooting Alan Gunderson in the back of the head with a .357 Magnum. Good times...
Finally a coop survival game. All these games claiming to be "coop" yet friendly fire is enabled so people just grief.
chiffmonkey true dat
alas there is still leaving them to massive horde of zombies to die when they were at first trying to get supplies because they had neglected the necessary materials to live so they had to join a random reason being no friends online to help and then went to the current situation (i don't know if i was being serious or not so just forget everything please)
I'm glad they actually added co op
We need a special of James playing through the second one.
We do for the Steam version
Jane: "or any other piece of zombie fiction"
Me: "there's zombie non-fiction? When did we have a zombie apocalypse?"
Have you not seen 90% of anyone who's obsessed with politics, they're all braindead shambling around infecting other good people.

So true😂
James Fonda Actually... There are real life zombies if you look it up. They're not like the fictional zombies or consumer masses but more so, hypnotized workers. Look it up, it's actually quite intriguing.
sshhh thats stage 4 of her world domination plan
There was actully a disease in the medevil times that was a mix of rabies and a ment other which basicly made a person go canabalistic and could infect others but it wasn't actully a zombies thing just simuler
Dire question, can I go on a massive and ill-prioritized hunt for twinkies?
thegoshdarned batman god I hope so, and if you can, good luck
thegoshdarned batman need the pink ones lol
I always imagined myself as a Tallahassee type. Snakeskin jacket and silly self-serving motives
thegoshdarned batman I always imagined myself the zombie type. Dead and forever hungry.
Zombieland jokes ayyy
So James is Playing the sequel?

Last time I was this early, you guys were still insidexbox.
Andres Estrada hah
Poor Camera Man James
I might consider buying State of Decay 2. I heard you get attached to your survivors just as much as your XCom soldiers!
Noob PTFO Yup. You get the same feeling.
Yup you do and theres an even more deeper attachment trust me!
CASINOOOOOO-
....
Yeah, that game had you really feel bad for making the wrong move
man I still remember when I lost my best XCOM soldier
UM. YES SIR. INDEED. I DAMN WELL SURE DID.
Only thing I hope they change is the baby sitting.
The constant annoyance of having to return to your safe house after 15 minutes because your survivors attracted a horde got really annoying.
Kristopher DelBene give One of them with a grenade launcher (the ai have unlimited ammo) then see the zombie horde go away
Sir Shark the ai have unlimited ammo? how do you know that?
First one was surprisingly good for such a small game. I'm pretty sure they improved a lot.
One thing I wish state of decay 2 had was being able to extend the borders of the base.
I just hope this one allows autosaving to be turned off and an option to disable the game from progressing on it's own! I loved the first game and expansions, but because I wouldn't play for like 2 days, I came back to a base where someone would have gotten eaten at best... Great highlight! I’m super stoked for SoD2, and I was actually falling asleep as I came across your video, which woke me right up!
I wish more ppl would cover state of decay content
Bought state of decay one a few day's ago, and i really love the concept of the game. Only needs a bit more polishing, seems they will do this now. Defo buying it once it get positive feedback

Same here lmao whenever I see them I just tried to avoid and if I couldn't pretty much just, panicked? lol Hated the ferals just as much though.
DrunkenXSMonkey 5605 7-8 headshots from a 45 ACP round always does the trick.
4 years later and I still play the crap out of sod1
It seems like they're taking a fair few cues from roguelike games like Darkest Dungeon...
Sounds pretty interesting actually.
I think it'd be cool to do Co-Op like Watch Dogs 2 where you have the option to run into random players who are near you on the map making it seem like you just randomly meet survivors
i really hope deadlabs went so deep with the realism, you can't figure out whether you are playing the game or the game plays you
Yes, but if James is playing, who is camera?! Witchcraft!
musicaddictor 🤔
Not going to lie but since seeing it on the E3 livestream this game is looking very interesting to me, glad it has co-op - not so glad I can't shoot my friend when he inevitably becomes infected with blood plague.
Just a quick question the co-op mode can only be enabled through online? Or is it possible to team up like 1-2players offline?
James used to get screen time playing games? My whole life is a lie
Can you play with your own character or do you need to play with a character made by the game????
Why did they change Black Fever with blood plague
Maybe it's a new strain, black fever could still be the base sickness.
Maybe it's like influenza, different every time.
well state of decay 2 probably takes place years after the original game.
viruses evolve bro.
not that hard to guess.
DanteTheCamel27 it takes place 1 year later
its slightly different, the black fever is you just die.
Can't wait to hear more
I just hope there`s bandits or some type of Human enemy
Bandit: Annnuuuu! Cheeki Breeki Iv Damke!
Saviors*
There is bad eggs in enclaves that kill you
this is nice, all that is left to me is can you create your own character to set skills or do you have to pray to RNG for it
Gangers you can always improve their skills and abilities by using that character.
JAAAMMMESSS, Where were you , you big magnificent diamond
Im a simple man. I see any video made in 2017 retaining to state of decay, I click.
Buck Shot same
That's complicated
Will it be for xbox one x? or does it use same games? im confused on the topic with one x
This game is the only reason I still have my xbox
infamousdrifter1 haha same
the only reason i still have my xbox and ps4 is because of the free games you get
infamousdrifter1 It's also on PC, well Windows Store only unfortunately
get dying light it's so fun
As normal zombies were just infected humans; the freaks had physical differences: Ferals have stronger muscles but no eyes and rely on smell (hence why they are in a stationary crouch position when they are alone)
This sounds good, but what I want to know is that does your base and survivors carry on when you turn the game off? That was by far the worst thing about the first game and why i stopped playing, id get a base started up, have to turn the game off because of irl commitments, and come back to a Base where all my good characters were dead and id have to start over. Screw that.
Nah it doesnt have that trust me im not playing rn but for damn sure its still normal as i left it
state of decay 2 looks like it has the story cut scenes the first one needed and co-op :) i did not think id be into a zombie game but the survival aspect of it is cool as hell
They should make the basebuilding like fallout 4s
Will this be available for all platforms
Hot damn this game looks super badass!!!! Well okay off to go see James Play that video I didn't see.^.
Looks great! But my ONLY wish is that there would be a raiding mechanic where if people shoot up flares, you could then also choose to raid them
Although i don't have a xbox i will purchase this for pc
Ive been waiting all morning for my oxbox fix, thanks guys
It should have local co-op :(
Those days are pretty much nonexistent sadly.
No Friendly fire? What a bummer... I mean, how quaint. Now no one will be able to backstab their friends and feed everyone to zombies. Yay.
except they still can... by luring zombies to them using noise devices or just leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere and stealing the car ect.
they just cant directly shoot people.
Great idea! You're a genius!... I mean, who ever would do such a terrible thing?
Hey, at least they can't snipe you.... lol
Or you can pretend to help them against a horde then pull out and watch them die. I hope you can take their rucksacks afterwards.
Yeah... :( ...I mean, yay!
Would you be able to upgrade defensive measures immensely? I'd love to have a big imput in base design.
Where are the supply drops you gotta have a supply drop.
James' reaction to being ripped apart by zombies is hilarious
I'm disappointed by your lack of Shaun of the dead references
I ADORED the first game. VERY excited for this one.
Microsoft needs to drop this Windows 10 Store games bullshit.
I'm sick to death that I have to wait so long!
.. alot of these things you could do in the previous game barring co op; survivours had unique traits, certian skills and you could perform mercy killings.
Can we have more than one map please?
Jade Bennet ehhh because the graphics aren't the best. how about. a giant map though to compensate
we have 3
3 maps in the beginning, more to come later on.
I loved state of decay 1, but a lot of people seems to not like it
I’m excited to get this. Getting the pre order ASAP
Man... State of Decay is a game that I’m Always interested in playing, but the developers seems be sure to add something that simply keep me out of it.
For the first one it was that offline progression system. Now, it is this Windows 10 exclusive bs.
Thiago Leão it's because microsoft invested into them🤑
Thiago Leão To be fair the offline progression isn't bad and you don't lose that many resources anymore in fact if your community is large enough it handles itself.
Thiago Leão Agreed
Is it only available for the xbox one console?
I realy want that there is going to be a set number of zombies making it realistic
That would be shit. What happens when you kill almost all of them?
Calvin Lomax Depends on the creators realy...and when you think about it we actualy never had a game with zombies that was open world with a said number of zombies
Because it’s stupid.
Calvin Lomax Opinions are opinions and i respect that
The general he is right once ya kill em all wouldn't be anything to fight against or to keep you moving. It'll be boring
28 DAYS LATER ISN'T A ZOMBIE MOVIE!
It's basically a zombie movie, "On the run from the zombie-like victims of the Rage" that's from the Wiki.
Zombie-like victims. Aka they act similar to zombies, the world is in a apocalypse state like zombie movies.
Well basically if we're going to go down that root then a lot of zombie movies aren't zombies since what we think of as zombies is actually a more modern take on the Haiti Zombie legends.
and then there are skits in comedy shows that show zombie stuff
Breakdown is the best mode, hope SoD2 lets you build a base in most of the buildings, && not just ones with a “perimeter fence.” Also, would be nice if the cars don’t flip so easily. This best zombie survival game out there.
We need a Bojack Horseman game lol
Bounty Hunter Kakazu what would you do in it though?
HunterFox do it up like telltale
Choices that effect your relationship and movie offers and stuff
If you lose all your money and friends he kills himself or dies from a overdose or something
Yeah, no lol. Some things need to stay where they are. A Bojack game wouldn't benefit the series at all.
FluxTavern yea.... like your opinion is absolute
Yeah, because a video game about a depressed horse will be the game of the year. That's like saying make the walking dead a musical. Just doesn't work m8
I loved state of decay back in the day. Excited for no. 2
Any everyone forgets thier terrible business practices and how they treated the PC community as soon as a new game is shown...
Handsome Jack what?
I don’t know what they said but I know it’s whiney
My son and I played the first one alot but we had to take turns. I'm excited to play it with him on co-op.
why perma death ? yeah i like to die alot
i was being sarcastic
It's part of the fun.
Hussain Abbas i played the through the first one last month for the first time. I did not die once and kept all survivors alive. Its really not that hard if you always have a gun, 30 spare rounds, 3 meds, 3 snacks and a melee weapons.
Hardest part of keeping them alive is higher lvls of sandbox mode
Ghost Nappa Lol, that's exactly my strat, big bastards aren't so tough once you have a full auto with that slow motion time effect. 6 shots to the head in under a second and the big un goes down.
'you can visit dead people' Yeah, thats one hell of a highlight
still no CC?.. come on now.. you "double down" on RP but the basic part of RPing which is creating your own character is not present?.. -_-
Because I'm sure you'd love to spend ages creating them just to make a mistake at some point and see them killed.
yes i do.. it will make me care for them a whole lot more..
I think they adding that for the next game
If u get killed is it permanently from the session ur in and have to join a new one or do u get to respawn cuz I’m confused
She said permanently so
Wish it was for ps4 :(
Matthews Gaming Zone just save up for an Xbox dude obviously this game is worth it
Buy an Xbox then.
Buy it for PC Xbox is irrelevant
Can we play infinitely long this time? Or will we eventually run out of ressources to scavange and need to restart like the first game?
XBOX ONE X WINS AGAIN
Sri Lestari I’m getting it on pc.
David Dewis i play it anywhere xbox one x and pc
Indeed, Although i wish it was being released on steam. The windows store and UWP is kinda pants. My guess is it'll be the same as Quantum Break. It'll be exclusive to UWP until a later date when it'll come to Steam.
No
Exactly 7 minutes , feels good
"ABIT LIKE DARK SOULS" ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLS JUST STOP.
Well, you send up a flare, then maybe someone will turn up for jolly cooperation. It's a bit like Dark souls.
Name one other popular game with drop in drop out multiplayer. =/
Birlzey Why? Because they compared the coop system?
Throttle Kitty Um? Where have you been the last decade or so? A LOT of games have drop in drop out multiplayer. You seem a little young. Maybe that is why you don't know it exists child.
Throttle Kitty Dead Rising.
Please tell me you can pause the game when you're not playing basically that (and coop) was the only thing i wanted more from the first game. I get their concept (it was cool) and would enjoy to leave it in as an option so i can do it sometimes for a day or two, but not indefinitely
WHY NOT FOR PS4
We already have enough zombies games lol.
Fuck the Oscars Nothing of this level however.
You guys have Paragon, now be happy..
Because PlayStation is gay
because xbox bought it
I loved the first one...
