Rodi is an excellent teacher. I feel confident that I can reproduce this look with his perfect step by step instructions. The look he creates is exactly what I have been trying to do for years. Without direction, I was just slathering products into my curly hair with less than great results. This way I think I can easily manage this look and at the same time use less product by doing this after washing my hair and then refreshing it with the botanical spray on subsequent days. I am so excited to try this!
Those of you that said this looks horrible are CRAZY!!! It is beautiful!! You probably don't have "difficult" hair as some of us do. I am going to try this exactly as shown to hopefully get mine to look just like that! Thank you for posting this!! :-)
But is you hair curly already? Mine used to be curly and able to just let air dry but now hair is wavy when wet & if don’t add anything it gets frizzy!!! Ugh 😑
I am too but I have much thicker hair than she does. For her it does look like he used too much product. For me, not so much since my hair can handle that much or more.
Excellent video. This method works perfectly for my fine, classic curls. By sectioning and applying product like this my curls look great for 5 days. With a little practice this is not hard. The towel scrubbing acts like a Curl enhancer. Curls last because the initial application is thorough. I do no t want to do my hair every other day so this works for me.
@@dcher3868 scrunching not scrubbing although lately I have had better results with only lightly and carefully diffuse scrunching only no hand or towel scrunching. Very defined first day and defined enough and volume days 2-5 with only light refresh.
Sannda where did u buy product? Also is ur hair curly? Mine is just wavy nowAnd if I don’t feel product it is frizzy but when I was younger it used to be curly I guess that’s what happens when we get older LOL
your working with a model /client who already has curly hair you wot get this effect with this product hes using you would have to have narrow barrel tongs
He used at least three times the product I would use. Although her hair is both longer and thicker than mine, I cannot see the benefit of so much styling product.
This is a lot of money for natural hair in my opinion. After I wash my hair I use my regular conditioner or the leave in one with a little argan oil and my hair looks like this.
Layers upon layers of product. 😳Geez! And way too much work and time. I get a better look from 1/4 of product and time and results not stiff and wet looking! With curly hair you need a good quality non sulfate (foaming) shampoo a heavier conditioner, some leave in conditioner, scrunch with towel, add some Paul Mitchell sculpting serum, a few small squirts of biolage finishing spritz, plus a good diffuser with your head upside down end to root, and boom! Try it people!
Thing is this isn't an example of what these products provide. I love some of their other products like the melt down repair mask (best mask I ever used). Hope you found good products for you though! #happyhairjourney
Oh my gosh, that looks terrible! It looks a gummy mess. I've been researching the Curly Girl method, and this is not a video that is encouraging me at all. eek!

She’s like I’m gonna be clarifying after this haha 🤣 so much product

I am not crazy it looks a mess in the end it is to big and crunchy looking.
Alisha Joyner exactly! This looks awful. It seems like in all of Ouidad's tutorials the hair looks crunchy, stiff, and flat
I love her hair... It looks so beautiful!
Too much product. I love Quidad heat and humidity gel, but you don't need all that on the hair. That doesn't look good to me at all
But is you hair curly already? Mine used to be curly and able to just let air dry but now hair is wavy when wet & if don’t add anything it gets frizzy!!! Ugh 😑
I think the same look could be achieved with a lot less product. I love the technique, tho! VERY good instruction and beautiful results! ❤
😂 people saying too much product either have thin hair or never been somewhere with mad humidity. I am heavy handed as fuck with hair products.
I am too but I have much thicker hair than she does. For her it does look like he used too much product. For me, not so much since my hair can handle that much or more.
Thank you! I learned a lot of great tips from this. Her hair looks fantastic!
She looks beautiful! Thank you for sharing your techniques.
That's wonderful for long hair. Not short?

Elizabeth towel scrubbing??

I Loved the way her hair turned out
Great Video!! That was a thorough explanation on how to use that product. And the extra bonus was the little tricks to keep your look looking great.
Holy Moly. “Put a ASS LOAD of product in” now... “we take the towel to get some of the product out”
What kind of sense does that make?
haha, the model is like, i can't wait to wash this all out.
this guy is great. I got some really great tips that I haven't heard before.
That is beautiful my hair will look like that with Ouidad! My hair is frizzy without products. I want a product that's touchable soft
I love it!!!! I went out to buy these products!! thanks I love her hair

lollll the greasy wet look! this was what maaany girls were doing in the early 2000s and let me tell you... its 2018 now.

Love your video THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU
ugh I wish you were in my city!

Same. I generally wouldn't use as much product either, and I wouldn't do as many sections but that's just my preference.

No way. Who has time for all that?
What TOTALLY made me cringe.....
he used a regular cotton towel to scrunch her hair!! 🥺😬 Ohhhh no no no no no no no no.
This is the curl type that I have, and this is exactly how I DON'T like for my hair to look. It looks all stringy and crunchy. :/

Wow, that looks horrible
Too much product & too hsrd & crunchy looking @ the end.
this convinced me to never buy those products. her hair looks so crunchy and awful.

That just made me never want to use that shit. she doesn't need that much product that looks so heavy and disgusting.
