I’ve been patiently waiting as well. I searched but not sure what exactly they are. I found some silicone reusable zip ties . But not sure if they are what they were using. Hopefully we get a link from them.
Thanks Mike for doing educational videos. I'm living on minimum SSDI income and will never reach the level you have, but I am saving up for some of these items to get the most out of the very little time I am able to spend out. But in knowing what your people and you know about angles and distance for these items is crucial to me in knowing. And I never knew you could take AGM and connect to lithium and they will still work especially charge each other. So I personally thank you
I rigg all my stuff up in my kayak. I thought setting up the electronics was pretty straightforward & easy. I have a 10" Garmin the ultra 106sv, a steady cast & lvs34 system. I know a lot of people are not so handy. But it's all pretty simple in my opinion. Im powering the 3 devices with a 14.8v amped outdoors 32ah lithium. I get around 15 hours of runtime . I used a 5' section of 10 gauge marine wire from my diy battery box in that back of my kayak, ran up front under my hatch where I use a dual bus bar to distribute power to each device. I have 14.8v at my battery & at each device. My screen is very clear. It took me an hour n half to set up everything & do wiring.
Thanks. It's rigged on my Hobie pa12-360. It's a clean set up without any wires exposed. Considering it's my 1st set of fishing electronics ever. It's been an awesome set up! I have my lvs34 transducer mounted on a fishing specialties pole with thier ducers mouth too. It's a ram ball connection for the transducer itself so it has endless adjustability for changing angles for depth with perspective & forward. I've been very happy with it
Nice! I want to do this hopefully by the end of this year/ beginning of next.. will definitely look Rich up, thanks Mikey 💪🏻 (I’m in south Florida, so perfect! )
So much bovine matter in this video that I'm nauseous. AGM voltage max is 13V for most batteries. Lithium is 14.4V. How is a 13V (a voltage only seen at 100% charge at that) going to "charge" a battery that reaches 100% state of charge at 14.4V? Many Lithium batteries are not approved for use attached to outboard charging systems - getting outside specs can/will trip the BMS or damage the battery over time. I would NEVER parallel dissimilar battery technologies. Keep any added Lithium isolated from the AGM - simply decide what electronics to run on the Lithium and wire those up to said Lithium independent of existing wiring in the boat. If you don't use a charger that will get the Lithium to 14.4V, you will never have a fully charged Lithium battery - you paid for a good power bank but then only charge it to about 80% (at AGM charger voltages)? That would make no sense!
All the real pros are doing it because they have no choice. It takes time to be a real hammer.... you know real pro....FACT. All the young so-called pros couldn't compete without it . If the young so-called pros didn't have forwarded facing, they wouldn't make a pimple on a real pros ass. Why don't you young guys or should i say inexperienced so -called pros pack your stuff up and get your butt's back down the ladder where you belong and get more experience so i can enjoy watching y'all in the future... Let's get back to where it takes skill... i pulled all my shit off the boat and practiced what i preached. Im back to struggling in many situations where when i was using forward facing, i would be successful.... I'll get there.
What’s the link for the cable ties? Thanks in advance
Please link those cable ties.

Rich is a great guy! Cool to see him on your channel. He used to rock an awesome boat.
That’s awesome you have a cool relationship with him to help you through the process Mikey 👍

That's a pretty slick setup man

I know you said 50ah for lithium. I run a 12.8v 50 AH just for FFS. Is that sufficient or should it a 16v lithium battery?
My cranking battery last 4 hours with my FFS. So today I put a lithium battery in a side box just for my FFS and graphs
Awesome job with that question mikey not everyone can afford lithium or brand new boat but want to add ffs👍🏽
No cheating video
