wow..now that was a great exploration. .loved the old castle..wish we can see a picture of the original castle..it must have been fascinating. .thanks for sharing
Yes I love old castles ..so neat to see when I can't go out and look at them..thank you for what you do...wondering if there any pics before it was abandoned. .that will be awesome..ty
Oh, the brick and stone work are amazing! I can hardly believe they whitewashed it back in the 1950s. I enjoyed this video, thanks for posting! Keep up the good work!!
Wonderful buildings and rock work. Fantastic floating, curved stair and trees in the attic! The site and views are beautiful now, but must have been truly amazing years ago. Any idea on the age of the castle and is it in Germany? Was the second building maybe a chapel or barn?
What a beautiful place this must have been in its heyday. Thanks for the explore. Oh and btw are there any images available of this place before the abandonment?
I found a video in Hungarian or whatever the language is and it shows a photo album in 1955-57 with a mother and 2 children..the outside of the building was white it appeared
The original architect probably didn't imagine that his Romantic stronghold-like creation would serve as an actual stronghold 40 years later! History sometimes play facetious tricks like that... The nazis must have had a field day to control the region from this point; the view on the surroundings is breath taking!
You need to slow your camera work! It's dizzying! Also..there's only one explorer team, which happens to be husband and wife, that have an excellent light source with them! They can go into a dark room and light it up..and their camera work as they pann the area is slow, and we're able to take it all in! You need a light source as you go toward windows too much..we'd like to see more!
Thought you did a really good job on this one. The picture was crisp and clear and the castle was set in a lovely setting. thank you.
The Holczer Castle is so nice! Thanks for sharing :)
wow, what a great video. thank you so much for going all over this place. really interesting.
The stairs alone are amazing. How can they float such a heavy staircase? Engineering, I guess. Great views. Mother nature is reclaiming even the roof.
Sehr gute Aufnahmen. Tolles und interessantes Video ! Freuen uns auf weitere Filme von euch:)
Daumen hoch!

It would be nice if you gave us some history on this place also see inside
That tree with the hole in it, just to the right of the front entrance stairs (first at 5:05): it is also in the 1950s pictures. Cool!
More clear picture at the first link in the description!
