But thing is hiding status is on normal WhatsApp as well. Plus bluetick

@@riozero96 Kinda true and I do see the point of using modded apps. I am actually using Instander and TH-cam Vanced both of which are proprietary (since they are just mods) but using a modded WhatsApp client isnt the best idea since the kind of chats you have in WhatsApp are at least intended to be private considering the contents you share on Instagram compared to what you would share in WhatsApp. Big difference - It doesnt even mean that everyone shares nudes through WhatsApp - other contents could also be considered private unlike the already PUBLIC posts you post on Instagram. A hacker cant really steal them.
Also TMWhatsApp has basically no reputation unlike Instander or TH-cam Vanced.
@@disco.jellyfish you should switch to revanced, it needs you to build the app but it is quite easy to do and will last way longer because vanced is shutting down soon
@@kingpanguan Vanced was already shut down half a year ago, but its estimated that the current version will keep on working perfectly for like 1.5 years from now. If the ad blocking somehow stops working at some point I could still just switch rather easily. But for now I'll just stick to OG Vanced as long as it still works.

No, If you hide read mark on official whatsapp you won't be able to see read receipt for others as well. But that's not the case here, you can still see theirs.

Despite the UI customisation of this app, it comes at the cost of getting banned from WhatsApp permanently.
Features like hiding your online status are now available on WhatsApp, and I don't think the average user should risk it.

IN PAKISTAN, we have GB Whatsapp installed on our phones, features are limitless. 7/10 people use modded Whatsapp here.!
Modded versions are high security risk ,never use your personal account on these
I am using it for a year now and it is a very good app with thousands of features. They keep up with all the new features with normal whatsapp
Using mod version of any software is a big privacy concern.. now a days even otp and some important bank notification are shared via WhatsApp..

Just so you know.. it might not be end to end encrypted (the main feature) and your messages would be stored on some strange guy's server.

I used to use mods back in the days but WhatsApp bans users. The longest I’ve been banned was 72 hours. I’d rather not.

TM WhatsApp has no encryption although it says there is. I used it for less than a day and received an account ban.
This can be super dangerous if the app is compromised. Do not download it unless it's open source.

A facebook owned app is already a security concern and a modded version of it by unknown developers that aren't even allowed on the google playstore is actually 1000 times worse.

The fact that you need to backup your whatsapp chats to change to a new device is ridiculous, no other platform does this because they store it online and not on the device

I used modded whatsApp, vanced TH-cam for a long time, Now moved to official apps.
Moved out from modded whatsApp to use whatsApp pay and legend vanced stopped their service (RIP vanced)
Vanced will continue to work for those who already have, but no more future updates

Modded WhatsApp is great to use...
Apart from theming, they're plenty of advanced privacy features that doesn't come with the normal WhatsApp app...
