Golden Handshake for Punjab School Teachers is been suggested and there are reports that all teachers including PST, EST, SST and SS of Primary, Middle, High and higher secondary schools will be give golden handshake ۔ The details of the golden handshake are as follows،
1.Regular teachers with age less than 50 years will be give 200 salaries.
2.Regular teachers with age 50 years or more will be give 150 salaries.
3.Regular teachers with a service length of 5 years will be given 100 salaries.
4.Contract employees will not be given any benefits and their contract will be terminated.
5.Teachers who will benefit from Golden Handshake scheme will not be eligible for pension or gratuity.
