I remember that one game where MVL played against Levon, and Antonio explained (that game was a finale of something) that it was MVL to just bore Levon to death as he thrives in complicated positions. That metaphor was really funny and accurate.
My friend Levon seems to drop by directly from vaccation , playing some rare lines, improvising, we will see how long he can stick with these plans(when harder opponents come)
Agadmator has the ability of touching his audience and making them feel like close friends, like no other TH-camr. He puts us on an equal level, a hard thing to accomplish with his fanbase.
Wow Levon like Arjun such a strong GM can play so Flamboyantly sacrificing pieces like he did being an elite GM they can find the right and Brilliant moves to take down these Lesser but Strong Players Thanks for the Game Agadmator
Playing bad moves, creating losing positions, and still winning. This is the heart of online speed chess (between lower level players), and these videos are great. Keep covering Levon.
Definetely probally missing something, but 11:41 Is this a good move for black? White knight to E4 (check) Black has to move king White knight to F2 (hits black queen) And rook can;t hit a piece
#Suggestion Would love it if you recapped Alice Lee's brilliant win from today, she sacrificed a knight in a brilliant attack to win her first ever olympiad game
GM Levon Aronian blundered a piece against 607-point-lower-rated FM Andre Mendez, but still went on to win as top-seed United States claimed a 3.5-0.5 victory over Panama-GM Wesley So's solid draw cost him a place in the top 10. None of the top seeds dropped more than half a point in round one of the 45th FIDE Chess Olympiad, but GMs Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Nodirbek Yakubboev, and Aryan Tari were all lucky to scrape draws.
I have to watch more Levon games and figure out if he's my favourite. That a3 move is crazy. I saw it and I still don't consider it when looking that the position.
3:08 "NF3 is errr well either winning or close to winning for Black.. because *a series of rambling* 3:37 But ok Rb8 and the game continues with Black being slightly better." ??? Is it winning or is it slightly better??
Sigh... As with every Olympiad, the "highlight" games of these first few rounds are actually still just strong GMs trampling weaker players, even if said strong GM plays sus moves (which they wouldn't play against other strong GMs) and even if they have a losing position at some point in the game. The weaker players either blunder or just get into time trouble and crumble. And then the strong GM gets the attention for playing a "spectacular" game. Nothing special, imho. We might as well be watching Hikaru farming lower rated players online.
What is with these Indians Super GM ... first Arjun did a TRUE BISHOP SACRIFICE yesterday and now today Pentala (whose peak rating was 2788) did a TRUE ROOK SCARIFICE playing like Paul Murphy .... truly a romantic game by Pentala and Probably the game of the day #suggestion #suggestions #PentalaHarikrishna #Harikrishna The commentators were shouting and jumping in their seats like I have seen never before ...
Levon really testing his defensive skills 😂
Very impressive game from Jaden considering the rating and caliber difference between him and Levon
Levon being a kind player giving his opponent rook odds
Antonio, perhaps you could put up the players' country flag specially for this event. It'd be great to know which team were in the brawl.
Good #suggestion

These players were from China and Russia 🙏
No need
he literally says it in the first 20 seconds of every video
I love watching Levon games.
Enjoy the creativity and his desire to play interesting matches
Antonio used to cover way more Levon in the past. It's great to see him covering him now.
he is still one of the most exciting chess player to watch.. very seldom plays a boring game.
thank you agadmator for your contributions to the game.
Soul of silicon 😂
Don't know what that is.
@@jx14aby It means you're a computer. A human (a sentient being) couldn't play such a cold blooded move
@@jeronimopereyra6222 Thx!
This was the best line of the video. Agad has a way with words.
Gonna use this in my words😂
A3 was so f*in cold blooded that it’s not possible to put into words
Laughed out loud when that happened, was funnier to me than most comedy shows, just an insane move to even consider
Levon is such a LEGEND! Love this guy!
I don't comment often but these last couple of games you showed were just too beautiful. Chess keeps on giving!!!
7:15 i also find the winning move more often than not but then blunder the continuation so thank you Levon
I remember that one game where MVL played against Levon, and Antonio explained (that game was a finale of something) that it was MVL to just bore Levon to death as he thrives in complicated positions.

Vaccination really helped Levon’s game - in an interview with Levy, he said he started to see an extra 1-2 moves ahead!!
I like it when Tony says "This is the move that Levon saw when he played Qb6" because I never believe it.
Agadmator has the ability of touching his audience and making them feel like close friends, like no other TH-camr.
He puts us on an equal level, a hard thing to accomplish with his fanbase.
#suggestion Vasyl Ivanchuk in round 2!
Wow Levon like Arjun such a strong GM can play so Flamboyantly sacrificing pieces like he did being an elite GM they can find the right and Brilliant moves to take down these Lesser but Strong Players Thanks for the Game Agadmator
Levon and Wesley ensure brilliance.
Great coverage fam
Playing bad moves, creating losing positions, and still winning. This is the heart of online speed chess (between lower level players), and these videos are great. Keep covering Levon.
Magnus is the GOAT but Levon's that creative tactician that gives rook odds and still wins.
Brilliant brilliant staff by both of them.
"A rook sacrifice!? It's impossible!"
Levon: no, it's necessary
Amazing game! Tks!
1:01 "The bastard-go line"
Levon is Love
Agad: "Sorry about that"
Me: "Thank you for that"
And no, I'm not using headphones/ear pods
Wow what a move by both!!
My favourite chess-move is pushing a pawn to make space for a piece. This game had two. Most excellent!
Of the great players pre WWII era, only Alekhine could understand the insane tactics of this brilliant game. Hip, Hip, hurra, Levon!
Lemonade (autocorrects from Levon and I actually dig it) is one of my favorite current players. Invetive. Creative. Always a solid game.
#suggestion check out Duda vs Kantor for beautiful tripled pawns (and rook vs bishops)
#Suggestions Round 2 of the olympiads, Canada V Norway, Shawn Rodrigue vs Johan-Sebastian Christiansen
Wild, wild game
Seconded - for your excellent Canadian subscribers!
10:50
Me: Play pawn to f5 and close the position
Agad: No one plays this unless they have a soul of silicon
😑😑
I actually was thinking f6😅
I thought I was lucky that Agadmator published two videos while I was asleep, only for him to post the third one while I watched the first
Wild shirts. Wild games. Levon fun.
A3 move!
a3 is giving big Morphy head energy.
I feeling Levon is purposefully putting him at a disadvantages. Bro is too good
If you can't tell im joking just go ahead
Definetely probally missing something, but 11:41
Is this a good move for black?
White knight to E4 (check)
Black has to move king
White knight to F2 (hits black queen)

c5 after Ne4 looks winning for black
@@swiffy2417 yup, I already thought I outthought Agadmator and figured that be impossible haha. Thanks :)
Second time Levon was loosing and defeated his opponent on time in this Olympiad
beautiful game!
"he goes into positions that noone plays"... I love these kind of games!
Levon "The Swindler" Aronian
Never play f6. Ben Feingold
#agad Please check that the quote above the chessboard was by wilhelm Steinitz and not by spielman
#Suggestion Would love it if you recapped Alice Lee's brilliant win from today, she sacrificed a knight in a brilliant attack to win her first ever olympiad game
'Sorry bout that' without the dive! So weird 😄
Jayden played a brilliant game! It’s scary that he’s 2397. It makes me wonder about the strength of the higher rated players.
1. Fabi
2. Dubov
3. Levon
My 3 favorite players
At this point Levon is just toying with his opponents😭
I think Levon is ready to become a good coach.
#suggestion Fabi's game in round 2
GM Levon Aronian blundered a piece against 607-point-lower-rated FM Andre Mendez, but still went on to win as top-seed United States claimed a 3.5-0.5 victory over Panama-GM Wesley So's solid draw cost him a place in the top 10. #suggestion sindarov vs Hamid wafa insane defence by sindarov
What?!?! There's a great discovery with knight to C8!!!!
Levon playing, "silent yet deadly" moves, LOL. I'm sure that is the real reason Jayden lost.
🔥🔥
#Suggestion surely more Olympiad games. These are so much more exciting than the super GM tourneys
Levon is riding on thin luck...it may not last long
:) g5 is mamedyarov’s trademark move…
Well "better player is better"
Hello Everyone! Have a wonderful day of chess!
Didn't steinitz say the quote?
Yes😊
Pretty sure at 9:53 Rf6+ is an instant resigns for black.
Dubious game
3:08 "NF3 is errr well either winning or close to winning for Black.. because *a series of rambling* 3:37 But ok Rb8 and the game continues with Black being slightly better."
??? Is it winning or is it slightly better??
Looking at this as a noob. ❤
No GM Ben Finegold was hurt in making this video
Classic AGOATmator back at it
At 11:22.. Why levon does not go for knight d6 to c8 ...
My question too, why not?
One of the most beautiful girl games I've seen...
14:25 in this hypothetical line if pawn d4 check isnt that winning for black?
#suggestion IM Daniel Quizon vs GM Kollars Chess olympiad round 2. An upset win. Road to GM. Inspiring story
One non-A.I. vote from me and some invisible made comment... nice match!
Levon the GOAT
Levon yesterday and today has moire luck than brain. Shame on his performance.
More like Jayden Wrong
There are another one or two smoking through for becoming a good coach.
Rudolf spielman saying that is very suspicious behavior.
Wasn't it steinitz
Is chess olympiads not highly regarded for other players? I only see people with lower rating than Levon
Sigh...
