Alireza was youngest ever player who crossed 2800 but after that he lost 70 ello piont but after the candidate we are seeing the alireza of 2022 he gained 40 illo and won every tournament he participated weather the online or on the board . Alireza is the prince of chess
i’m a big alireza believer, i don’t think for the candidates he was as focused as he should’ve been and also there’s way too much pressure for that tournament but i think he’s naturally so talented, he’s good with dynamic positions and spotting tactics in lower time, he just needs more discipline to be solid and hopefully his rating decline served as a wake up call for him, he’s young, there’s a lot of room to improve yet, i’ll be rooting for his success cause his games are one of the most exciting to watch, there’s a reason so many channels are interested in analyzing his games in comparison to other top players
Let me help you to get the situation. The variance people are talking about Alirezas performance , comes from the raw talent that leads to genius state when unfolded. Thats what has made people excited about Alireza Firouzja. Players like Arjun or gukesh at their best senario would become another Fabi . Excellent with theory and preparation and memorization, but not in the line of Fisher, Kasparov and Magnus
Fabi's performance in 2014 was 3000+ starting with a 7/7 killing streak, drawing the last three games as it was a double-round tournament with 6 players, making 10 games in total. It was just a massacre.
Arjun is world #4 and we hardly ever see him. Wonder why? Why do Pragg and Gukesh get more invites when they are lower rated? Ok Gukesh is the wc challenger but still...
@@wallysullivan9315 But still, A.E is world number 4 ffs and you hardly ever see him, it's crazy to me. I like the other two it's not about WHO it is, if it were any world #4 it would be just as crazy
You probably have had this suggestion a lot but i was wandering if you would or could ever show an evaluation bar in the games? I would love to have seen the back and forth of this position from fabi ahead -> drawing -> completely lost -> to objectively a draw. Its a wild ride!
Very competitive game back and forth jockeying for position Fabiano missing the big move Rd5 reminded me of his game with Ian when he also missed crucial moves Alireza is great at finding great moves late in the game thanks for the Game Agadmator
Alireza was busy with his immigration from Iran to France and these past years he was in a complicated situation. Now he's settled and getting back to the top. Wish him a good lock. ❤🤘
Just Trying and succeeding to win games against a dozen or so of the worlds best players is admirable if only for its prowess and audacity . I respect that and find it to be graciously entertaining. Because of the internet we get to know all of these guys. Back in the day we had some newspaper articles about Boby and some books laying around. Now we have 100s of personalities ,a few clowns, 20 superstars, random high school nerds thrust upon a world stage. We have excellent minds well beyond their chess. They converse in politics culture fashion and what not in front of us in a dignified manner befitting of the game. Usually. It’s a great time to be playing chess. On top of it all we have agadmator. And that’s nice. I heard a 12 year old boy say the other day that he had “watched all of the Morphy games yesterday” now he calls himself a Morphy head. I think he assumes that is like being a gear head or a dead head. Lovely. Thank you again Antonio.
Fabi is an incredibly strong player and his performance in a World Chess Championship demonstrated this especially going against peak Magnus Carlsen, abling to draw all Classical Games forcing to go into Tie Breaks ... which we all know is a completely difference game when players are under time pressure.
Fabi learned the hard way why you don't casually give up a pawn early in the game hoping for better activity. Alireza literally just grinded him down into a losing endgame, where that single pawn lead turns into a passer and becomes overwhelming.
Does this game truly showcase the dark side of lengthy preparations? Even with 20+ moves of preparation and so much of a time lead, a player of Fabi's caliber wiggles to such a loss. Does this suggest that the preparations is just to hide their weaknesses?
Nice notice! If the dark background og Agad was an intentional hint too, kudos to him as well. Yeah! Their main shield and weopon against Scary Talent is days and nights of preparation. Alireza eats them all much more easily in a barehanded fight.
Anyone new to channel with think that Agad is serious about playing so as to avoid the possibility of the Evan's gambit showing up on the board. The all importance of the B4 square never gets old as far as jokes.
Why not queen to H6 and then when black capture the bishop just rook to h5 ? Now what's black gonna do ? I can't find anything please if anyone then tell me
What is incredible is that in very recent times, he has beaten Fabi, Hikaru and Carlsen too in matches of one sort or another. He is clearly looking like the real successor to Magnus. And given that he is more than 10 years younger than these three, it is just a matter of time before he eclipses them for sure. He will have competition from his contemporaries though.
Interesting how people are reacting to Alireza being mentioned alongside Fischer, Kasparov, and Carlsen. Did it sting because the young man has been beating your heroes lately? Or maybe you understand chess better than Magnus does?
Just the other day everyone including Agad was dogging Ali for farming and then getting demolished in the candidates. Now he's destroying everyone except Magnus and the chess community is praising him. Hope to see Ali focus more on chess instead of fashion in the future.

Hey Antonio - just a suggestion from a poor chess player but a video nerd - I think you would look better with a back light on your shoulders to separate you from the background and give you a more three dimensional look. Just a thought.
Agad recording from Tal's deep dark forest.

Alireza getting back into form is inspiring. He was World #2 before. He has the potential to be a World Champion.

It appears that sacrificing the bishop is correct. 6:12 instead of Rg3, Rh5 and black is doomed.
Fabi learned the hard way why you don't casually give up a pawn early in the game hoping for better activity. Alireza literally just grinded him down into a losing endgame, where that single pawn lead turns into a passer and becomes overwhelming.
We want a Dubov vs Alireza series ❤
@13:22 why go for the perpetual what about d6 trying to create a mating net? that too especially if black goes kf8
The Persian genius 👏🏻👏🏻
It appears that 59. Bxf7 was a mistake. 59.Rc2!! gives white a better for Fabi!! However I am using engine low depth, so i could be wrong.
What a positional masterpiece. Good to see goochireza back on his game; felt for a while there that he was going to flame out completely
amazing performance from Alireza.

All this shows is that it's possible for a 2790 to incorrectly evaluate a position.
The thumb nail position. After queen takes bishop doesn't the queen hang? Why not queen A7 check to take queen immediately?
Alireza will conquer chess at some point
6:08 How does Black defend against Rh5 ?
Same thing I was thinking. Looks like game over for black if black captures that bishop...
Is this a repost? I feel like I have watched this endgame from fabi before

14:48 I must be missing something, but why not play Qa7 right away and win the queen for the bishop and rook?

Alireza in his element is a force to be reckoned with. But it's time he stopped sending his scared clones to the Candidates Tournaments!

Carlson could win championship again but he doesn't want to
Every generation has an exceptional player, fischer, kasparov, carlsen and now firouzja
Why is Antonio's background black?
Fischer, kasparov, carlsen... firouzja ?
Yes
Alireza the price of chess !
Found a move that Fabi didn't! Woohoo!
1:30, but isn't that a "delayed" Evans gambit?
Caruana is the type of guy who play top engine move in the opening till middle game but slight mistake in end game bottle the whole game
I am unrated player but I found Rd5 .. preparing to give check on a5.. I am happy 😊
there was no need to sac that pawn which is the move that cost fabi the game...a real bone headed move
6:06 wht if rock to h5?
I would guess Qe6 and there isn't any Qxh7 mate threat because the king will be able to run to shelter.
You just move the black queen, like Qd8 or Qd6 and nothing happens for white anymore
I don't really see the threat of Rh5. Remember, you have to actively threaten something or you're just down a bishop.
@@antarath517I think adding a rock to the board is quite threatening personally
