Does anyone else hope they do a new animated series after Rebels, with a "Recon" series like Rebels Recon? Purely so Andi could continue to harass Pablo Hidalgo about fan questions?
@Obi-Wan Kenobi "Really mean"? He made one sarcastic comment, and it could honestly be seen as him criticising the people who were actually harassing Star Wars Theory. Also, weird you're bringing that up to a three year old comment
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These Are Some of My Favorite Episodes!!! I Love Rebels Recon SO Much!!! I Miss It I Wish they would keep doing this for The New Shows. I LOVE THIS SHOW SOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
I loved seeing Rex on Yavin IV because y'know he's a clone from the prequel era in this very original trilogy place and it makes the universe feel more close.
I love this so much the base of Yavin iv is actually based in the city of the Tikal in Guatemala, a country i am a part of, when i saw it in the original trilogy it was amazing then when i saw it in Rogue One it was amazing. Thank you Lucasfilm for making a such iconic place like Tikal so important in the Star Wars Universe. Some years ago an American Archeologist found an even bigger Mayan city half an hour from Tikal on Chopper, It is called El Mirador it was the capital of the entire Mayan Civilization and it holds the biggest temple to date in the World, just saying if you ever need any more big temples or cities lol. Thanks Star Wars. :)
Manuel Armando Rodríguez Gonzalez yeah me too, I'm Guatemalan and I've visited Guate 5 times. I always remember the 3rd time cause I saw Tikal, I recognized it immediately, I was a little star wars fan then
Some guy accidentally mixed salt and tritejectohydroxide creating a fission. Causing an explosion. The CIA will probably take this down in a couple hrs. Screenshot this comment everyone
+TotalDrganMania Couldn't Lucasfilm just make Clone Wars arcs into movies like they did with the Clone Wars movie? Then it wouldn't count as episodes really so Warner Bros couldn't sue. Idk I could be wrong. Tbh I doubt they'll continue it. They're telling untold stories through other media like novels and comics. The Siege of Mandalore happens in the Ahsoka novel.
I love this little banter with Pablo. I hope you're going to do an epic conclusion to *his* story of struggle with the fan questions in the last episode of Rebels Recon ;)
"It feels like we never do anything to hurt the Empire." Remind me again, how many Star Destroyers has the Ghost Crew blown up at this point? 'Cause killing over a hundred thousand Imperials doesn't feel like "doing nothing"
I don't have a problem with how the Deathtroopers were handled here. You have to remember that they were taken by complete surprise and they had no intel on their enemies. There is a HUGE difference between taking initiative and the first strike and a strait fight, if the Deathtroopers had known that a fight was coming the whole fight would have gone VERY differently.
I’m glad to see the classic Imperial Shuttle in this episode. I was getting tired of seeing all those Sentinel-class landing crafts in every episode, not that I’m complaining of course.
Yes because its easy to defeat a Mandalorian warrior, a jedi, and a deranged rebel extremist who doesnt care what it takes to get the job done. They werent very competent in rouge one either.
itz DRod In Rogue One they defeated more Rebel forces with less losses than the Shore and Stormtroopers, and they also killed Chirrut and Baze. But It was kind of weird seeing them speak normally instead of the scrambled voice we see in Rogue One.
What I like most about this episode arc was that much like Rogue One, we got to see how different Rebel cells handled themselves and the Empire. There was a clear distinction on how the Partisans and the Rebel Alliance to Restore the Republic believed in what they thought was right, conducted war, and operated. Saw has tunnel vision in his search for the Empire's super weapon and is not willing to deviate from his course and neither does he care about who gets in his way. Unlike Mon Mothma or General Dodonna, he doesn't plan for the long term, and instead wants to destroy the Empire wherever he can find them or at the very most hurt them enough. I do think that there is a bit of inconsistency with him as one time he's willing to blow up a station with dozens of Imperials, next he's stunning and knocking stormtroopers unconscious, and then he's willing to blow up a whole ship with enemies, allies, and civilians alike. There was one moment in his fighting with the Deathtroopers where he was about to kill the commander but then it cut and turns out he only missed (from only a few feet away; does Saw have stormtrooper aim?) While this may indicate his mental instability, I think it has more to do with the writers of the show and their unwillingness to keep Saw a consistent character. Rebels has no qualms with deaths, but unlike TCW, they don't get up in your face about it. It's always in an explosion, a far away blaster shot, falling, or off-screen. They don't bring the camera close to the character's faces either or when they do it's mostly stormtroopers and it's okay because they're faceless. The deaths in this episode have been inconsistent as well. First they're willing to kill people, then they don't, and then they do again. Where does Sabine keep her paint? ...Does she have lube on her as well? I really hate how they changed the Death Troopers. The voice scrambler is abandoned as is their sensor systems within their helmet and with smoke no less! Hell, even standard stormtrooper helmets are supposed to be equipped with vision enhancements! The show devalued their intimidation and made them less elite, and thereby less of a challenge to the Rebels. I did find the fact that their commander was a woman a surprise as these troopers are physically built to be more masculine. I think that this is the work of the cybernetic enhancements but I'm not sure. It's a shame that she wasn't saved by the explosion. I would've like to have seen her appear more often now that we lost two significant Imperial officers. I don't like how it is the Death Star that is the catalyst that brings the Rebel cells together to form the Alliance. The Imperials even confirm that *this* is the Rebel Alliance in ANH and Rogue One. That Mon Mothma's coalition is a legitimate threat and they have a name. It's like calling ISIS or al-Queda, not ISIS or al-Queda at the time that they were formed even if they were identifying themselves as being that. See, people? This show isn't supposed to be tied to the films. These characters don't have to have shared destinies with the main SW cast.
I was really hoping that when the Ghost jumped into hyperspace at the end of Part 2, there would be a lingering long shot of the star destroyer exploding. As the "camera" zooms out, we see a massive dark circle in the background with dotted lights emanating from it, making it seem like it's space, but it's actually not. The Death Star was there all along. We would never get a proper look at it and there would be no music, just that eerie humming noise that it makes in A New Hope.
I don't recall being so early to any of videos on Official channel. Still, it's wonderful to start off a day with new Rebels Recon. Have a nice day everyone and May the Force be with you!
I am stunned neither of them even realized they were facing Imperial Death Troopers. We see more of the "disagreements" between Mothma and Gerrera going further and Ghost Crew seeing begin seeing ineffectiveness of Mothma's missions. The satellite takeover fails and Sabine and Ezra were saved by Saw who brought them along for a mission of his own which is a continuation of the crisis on Geonosis. What they ended up finding is a massive Kyber Crystal along with captured scientists which they come to the conclusion the Empire is building a super weapon. Unfortunately things do not go as planned when the location Saw believed was their destination was a rendzevous. He destroys the crystal bringing the Star Destroyer down with the cargo ship. Ezra, Chopper, and Sabine narrowly escapes on an Imperial Shuttle with the captured technicians. While most of the Rebellion does not believe war has not already begun but the Ghost Crew begins to realize that the Empire is on the verge of finishing a super weapon. Krennic was mentoned in this episode along with the massive Kyber Crystal. Further preludes to the Death Star. Side note, love the design of Yavin 4 base in Rebels and I can tell a few months has passed because Callus's and Saw's hair has grown out since the last time.
Kinda baffling how they managed to make an episode with Death Troopers into a comedy. And for being a bit of an extremist, Saw was ridiculously restrained in his handling of the Stormtroopers. Still much better than the premier though.
I know, in the mandalore arc, they actually waited for a trooper that was knocked down to turn around before slicing their blaster. Courtesy on the battlefield?
I was watchong part 1 last night, my mom was with me, and it was the part where Kanan told Hera where to fly the Ghost and during that out of no where my mom says,"Yeah let the blind guy drive."😐 literally my face.
Great episode! Can't wait for the next episode of Rebels where Ezra goes to Lothal. It looks like the planet is in a fiery state of terror right now and extremely tense. 😮😱🙂👍☄🌆🔥
Reminded me of the time I Jump Scared a player in my old Star Wars (West End version) campaign. Player opened the door, Storm Commando was right on the other side, just waiting to punch the Player Character. Which is exactly what happened. XD Boy, that character's player was SOOO indignant! :D But everyone else was laughing!
So apparently we are basically having two episodes every week of Rebels, what a treat. Next week, The Occupation and Flight of the Defender. Some rather cataclysmic events have occurred on Lothal since the last time.
yah think any ones told saw that his nemesis the droid kalani still functional considering he was the one who killed saws sister i think it would be an interesting story arc if the rebellion looking for experience or some insight into potential imperial super weapons which were started by the confederacy *cough* death star they attempt to seek him out only for saw to ambush them and take his vegance perhaps kalani is the reason why saw is mortally wounded in rogue one and has the robo legs
By the way these unfinished episodes are available to watch on starwars.com. The first one of this arc is "A Death on Utapau" www.starwars.com/video/star-wars-the-clone-wars-story-reel-a-death-on-utapau
After rebels I want an animated series of the old old republic Jedi Vs Sith. How the force was discovered and who was the first person to use the force. Anyway I just think it would be cool to meet all these powerful characters.
That odd finger wiggle Ezra did the last time Saw asked Ezra if he was coming. Did he use Affect Mind on him? It seemed a little strange that his next action was to give him back his lightsaber and use the word "Friend" in his response before leaving.
There is a problem of continuity at the beginning of Rebels 4.3 ! At 00:37 the Yavin landing area is full of Y-Wing and suddenly at 01:45 five V-Wing have appeared and the Mandalorean ship has vanished as few Y-wings. Have you noticed it ?
Great Episode I like Both Saw & Mon they approach Fighting The Empire Differently They Both Need 6 Inch Black Series Figures I would buy Them Both I support The Rebel Alliance /Resistance Im excited to see Rukh and My X-Wings I need my Kanan & Thrawn Focused Episodes Though
This was REAL TIGHT!!!😃 Saw was trying to show them a THING or TWO about fighting the empire like they should!😒 Also Kallus may be a changed man and a REBEL now😁 but that still doesn't change the fact that I will NEVER just suddenly forgive him for what he had done to MAKETH TUA while he was still one of THEM...THE EMPIRE!😡 He should've SEEN the empire for what it really was BEFORE he did that to her!😞
Indeed, those people are just missing so much... when I watched Rogue One for the first time, I had not paid too much attention to the trailers and other hints about it. So I was completely surprised when Saw's name appeared in the movie. I was like, wait, you've heard this name before anywhere... and when I got it and remembered Steela and all, it felt like a perfect circle of story telling art. They should really do these kind of crossings between the movies and other media more often.
So, people complain about Death Troopers being "nerfed" in Part 2 of the episode. Let's analyze the situation they were in: - First Death Trooper gets shot 'cause he was taken by surprise. The other four are stunned, but react when they see their fallen comrade. - Sabine pops out not one, but TWO smoke grenades, impairing the visuals for the Death Troopers. Since they were spread out, one gets ambushed and knocked to the ground by Saw Gerrera (unconscious at first, probably killed off-screen by Saw). - The third one also get ambushed in the smoke, but the problem here is that the Death Troopers didn't retreat immediately, thinking they could actually outwit the three attackers. At this point, Saw picks up one of the Death Troopers and the Death Trooper commander, still impaired by the smoke grenade, thinks her colleague is alive, but questioning his actions, until Saw pulls up the blaster and shoots. Commander and the remaining trooper react quickly and take cover behind the containment field of the Kyber crystal. - When the field got hit, they decided to tactically retreat and that's when the fourth trooper gets shot in the left shoulder. So, at least one or two troopers probably were alive, but killed possibly off-screen? The commanding Death Trooper remains and decides to purge the escape pods and try to resolve the situation in best way possible. Even in Rogue One, some Death Trooper actions when Baze starts killing them are also questionable, as well as the two accompanying Krennic to the vault and getting shot there as well. Yes, they are supposed to be elite forces, better than regular stormtroopers and are technologically enhanced in some way, but they still come from Stormtrooper corps', those who were the best and fit to pass the training. And when it comes to dealing with a Jedi, even in training, a Death Trooper could do only so much against such a foe. As for the unscrambled voices, they just gave us those to understand what they were saying. Ezra, Sabine and Saw probably still heard only the scrambled callouts.
I was just really hoping Rebels would redeem Death Troopers from their weak portrayal in Rogue One. Seems they just made them even worse. Commando Droids were portrayed MUCH better and actually felt like a genuine threat in the Clone Wars. I was hoping Death Troopers would be the same in Rebels.
Like I said, they weren't even that good in Rogue One, but you have to take the situation they found themselves in. Have you played EA's Star Wars Battlefront? Have you seen what a smoke grenade does to impair vision in that game? That's how I came to this conclusion for the situation this squad found itself in, at least for the first part. Ok, the commander survived the first onslaught, but she had nothing to work with but her own training and stormtroopers later on. But she did react to the loss of her team properly when she evaded death. Always take the context of the situation some troopers find themselves in.
I don’t know if Battlefront would be the best source. It is canon but many things are adjusted for gameplay purposes. For instance, flash bangs shouldn’t work on stormtrooper helmets.
What about the rebel base on Dantooine that Leia gives up before the empire blows up Alderaan? It was deserted by that time, but it was there. I expected to see it in this show.
They really need to start bringing Redshirts on their missions. Then it'd at least give the Stormtroopers (and Deathtroopers by extension) something to shoot at and not look like utter buffoons.
I guess that it rather has to do with something that went wrong with the Tie Defender factory or something like that... maybe a mistake made by the rebels themselves, as we know they infiltrated and sabotaged it already before. That would explain why we don't see Thrawn's Defenders later in the movies, even though they would have made a real difference in the war.
Well clone wars went as far as showing someone getting their arm sliced off and showing the bone and muscle underneath (Savage Oppress). Not to mention all the other times they got "censored" for violence
Also its not like they have to show the whole thing, could be as simple as him being in an explosion and learning that he survived by seeing him wake up in a medical bay with a new leg and other injuries.
For how good (at times, at least) it was, TCW had the same content problems tha plagued the prequels: it couldn't decide whether it was aimed at children or adults. It wasn't as tone-deaf as the prequels, I'll give it that, but it still went from slapstick-comedic with JarJar to dark and violent with Maul and Oppress. And, fine: TCW was the product of a billionaire-gone-kook. Rebels is made on a budget and is made to appeal to a younger audience (which is perfectly fine). Sure, there's always "something more that they could've done" but who cares, really? I like to think Saw is the way we see him in RO because he got mauled by Vader - it'll do fine, for me, as an explaination, until (if ever) they come up with something else.
Amy Beth? Anyone remember the "My Day at Work" bonus clip in Jedi Starfighter for the PS2? Guess she's been hiding at Admiral Snackbar. I love older games.
Does anyone else hope they do a new animated series after Rebels, with a "Recon" series like Rebels Recon? Purely so Andi could continue to harass Pablo Hidalgo about fan questions?
infinitesheldon I just want more of Andie. I just love the way that woman looks. Reow!

I love this so much the base of Yavin iv is actually based in the city of the Tikal in Guatemala, a country i am a part of, when i saw it in the original trilogy it was amazing then when i saw it in Rogue One it was amazing. good god, what the hell did the empire do to lothal. cause it looks like it's been through the ringer.
Confused peace with terror, that's what the Empire did.

Maybe they will finish the unfinish episodes of the clone wars and release them.
A cracking episode. So excited for the rest of the season.
Also, many thanks for giving us 2 episodes!
Elliot Kouame i preferred the 2nd episode
6:44 THAT'S MEEEE!!! 😀😀😀
Nice question :D
I'm a little salty they didn't answer my question about the Darksaber tho :p
Congrats dude
Congrats.
Ebanks Studios I also got my question answered a year ago. Now our names are spoken on the Blu-ray copies.
Really? I'm pre ordering the blu ray now 😂
Ezra: Saw, you shot me!
Saw: Let’s be more precise, I stunned you.
I think I have never said this but, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUBTITLES IN THE VIDEOS you seriously don't know how helpfull they are :')
Are we not gonna talk about how great Chopper was in this episode?? I mean, come on, he was awesome! You go, Chop!
missystar013 Chopper was super awesome in this ep! I love seeing him play bigger roles.
I love this little banter with Pablo. I hope you're going to do an epic conclusion to *his* story of struggle with the fan questions in the last episode of Rebels Recon ;)
The next episode looks epic! Cant wait!
This episode was really, really good! Couldn't love it more!
I hope we get an episode that focuses on Kanan and Hera centric episode. Also, I hope we get a definitive answer about Ahsoka

Oh yes I do my friend
"We all could make dark choices..." @ 5:14, while showing Rey... Precursor to the Last Jedi?
I was going to post the same thing. Funny how they all matched up and Rey is dark choices...I foresee Rey going down a dark path.
I’m glad to see the classic Imperial Shuttle in this episode. I was getting tired of seeing all those Sentinel-class landing crafts in every episode, not that I’m complaining of course.
Okay, wow. The music as they’re approaching Lothal sent chills down my spine.
“Kanan, what’ve they done? Lothal looks like it’s dying!”
Anyone else put off by how incompetent the Death Troopers were portrayed here?
SYLO: Star Wars No. They were trying to avoid messing with the Extremely Sensitive Kyber Crystal.
Yes because its easy to defeat a Mandalorian warrior, a jedi, and a deranged rebel extremist who doesnt care what it takes to get the job done. They werent very competent in rouge one either.
That rebel extremist is also a veteran of the Clone Wars, and never stopped fighting.

that is some new behind-the-scenes footage of Saw? I don't remember ever seeing that
I like how Pablo's coffee cup is full before Andi asks the questions and how afterwards, it's half empty!
Awesome episodes!! Loved all the Rogue One connections^^ and finally we got to see a LAMBDA CLASS IMPERIAL SHUTTLE
I LOVE Andi's t-shirt. It really accentuates the suppleness of the Star Wars crawl.
What about the droid attack on the wookies?
See episode III
This season has been super fun so far. I didnt even think about Hera hologram thing while watching but yea we do wanna see her

In the Name of the Rebellion, Part two was the better episode, in my opinion.
Grammar oof
SteveSpikes ha wrong grammar!!!!
SteveSpikes its like the start and end a film
This episode was great. Even better than last week.
"can a kyber crystal be weaponized?" oh come on guy, do you know lightsabers?
I'm surprised Sabine knew anything about Kyber Crystals. I would have expected knowing anything about them to be extremely esoteric.
From that 1 minute clip from next episode, i'm already getting emotional, Lothal truly looks like its dying.

Can't we have more than 2 questions answered? Moar!!
yah think any ones told saw that his nemesis the droid kalani still functional considering he was the one who killed saws sister i think it would be an interesting story arc if the rebellion looking for experience or some insight into potential imperial super weapons which were started by the confederacy *cough* death star they attempt to seek him out only for saw to ambush them and take his vegance perhaps kalani is the reason why saw is mortally wounded in rogue one and has the robo legs
I didn't know you could get Kyber crystals that big
There was one almost that big in the unfinished episodes of Clone Wars, it's a really good arc if you imagine all the missing animation details
By the way these unfinished episodes are available to watch on starwars.com.
The first one of this arc is "A Death on Utapau"
www.starwars.com/video/star-wars-the-clone-wars-story-reel-a-death-on-utapau

After rebels I want an animated series of the old old republic Jedi Vs Sith. How the force was discovered and who was the first person to use the force. Anyway I just think it would be cool to meet all these powerful characters.
i like how this show has stuff like mandalorians being disintegrated, and lothal being burned down by the empire.
That odd finger wiggle Ezra did the last time Saw asked Ezra if he was coming. Did he use Affect Mind on him? It seemed a little strange that his next action was to give him back his lightsaber and use the word "Friend" in his response before leaving.
First word in description is missing the I

There is a problem of continuity at the beginning of Rebels 4.3 ! At 00:37 the Yavin landing area is full of Y-Wing and suddenly at 01:45 five V-Wing have appeared and the Mandalorean ship has vanished as few Y-wings. Have you noticed it ?
Excellent Star Wars Rebels Recon Episode !

είθε η δύναμη να είναι μαζί σας! Great t-shirt Andi!
The Rebels disguises look like the attire of the Helmet Squad Criminals I had to arrest as a Bounty Hunter.
This was REAL TIGHT!!!😃 Saw was trying to show them a THING or TWO about fighting the empire like they should!😒 Also Kallus may be a changed man and a REBEL now😁 but that still doesn't change the fact that I will NEVER just suddenly forgive him for what he had done to MAKETH TUA while he was still one of THEM...THE EMPIRE!😡 He should've SEEN the empire for what it really was BEFORE he did that to her!😞
I think he knew she was turning but did not know that the empire blew her up he probably thought it was the rebels
IlluminatiComfirmed 69 Well that MIGHT be true!😒
I hope we are not gunna be a week late on the episodes now that we are asking question to Pablo

I want more saw and 2tubes! We still have to find out how saw hurts himself right?
It's funny how only Dav mentions Saw's origin on Clone Wars, everyone else is like yea this character was created on Rogue One and nothing else.
Docta Cos That’s because those people probably never watched the Shows.
Karabast! What happened to Lothal? WHAT HAPPENED?!?!
Nightmare Fuel incarnate.
Kyber Cristal goes like kaBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! :D
I thought they were gonna show the death star, but then thought that they'd be like "nah" and they were like "nah" and I was sad
So, people complain about Death Troopers being "nerfed" in Part 2 of the episode. Let's analyze the situation they were in:
- First Death Trooper gets shot 'cause he was taken by surprise.
But smoke should and would impair their vision anyway.
Next episode looks promising, also can we keep the 2 episode per week thing?
What about the rebel base on Dantooine that Leia gives up before the empire blows up Alderaan? It was deserted by that time, but it was there. I expected to see it in this show.
They really need to start bringing Redshirts on their missions. Then it'd at least give the Stormtroopers (and Deathtroopers by extension) something to shoot at and not look like utter buffoons.
That clip actually kinda made me sad
The Star Wars Rebels Season Three & Four episodes In The Name Of The Rebellion is a very cool Star Wars Rebels two parter !
Did they tested the Death Star's Primal weapon's power on Lothal?
Big Smoke no that was rouge one. They even say they were testing it officially on jeddah

Much better than last episode
Gotta say these were probably the best way episodes since Twin Suns. Don’t like how you could hear the death troopers voice though.
Forest Whitaker is fantastic as Saw Gerrera!
I wonder if what's happened to Lothal will make Ezra second guess his feelings on the Rebel leadership more?
I was hoping we would learn how Saw lost his leg :(
Starting to doubt that Rebels will go that far
You mean a show aimed at little kids won't go as far as showing a man being violently maimed? Preposterous!!
Can someone please jog my memory? Kanan mentions that this is the second giant kyber crystal they've encountered. When was the first time?
Amy Beth? Anyone remember the "My Day at Work" bonus clip in Jedi Starfighter for the PS2? Guess she's been hiding at Admiral Snackbar.
I love older games.
