I was waiting for this from you. I saw many other videos. But this is the best so far.. Many people think that runway is the only criteria for an aircraft of this size. but there are other factors too. .. The biggest issue with the A380’s size involves airport gates, taxiing surfaces, and other airport facilities. The A380 might be able to land or takeoff, but accessing the airport facilities is a bit more difficult. Many airports have had to make special accommodations for its size just so the airplane has a place to park and load/unload passengers. The A380’s gigantic wingspan also impacts the movement of other airplanes near it at busy airports.. The Ground team will desperately want it air borne as soon as possible 😆.
Thank you for the appreciation Aravind. Exactly Aravind. Even in Chennai runway is just the partial issue. We do not have adequate or proper ground facilities to host it. Even in BLR, only the south runway is capable of handling the A380. So lot of factors involve in hosting the A380.
Hi the a380 is not only the biggest aircraft that landed in Bangalore We have hand then Lockheed Martian c5 galaxy that is twice the size of the A380 We have also hand the Boeing C17 globe master land in Bangalore too and let’s not forget we also have and will keep on having the B1B lancer Yes I accept tgat Bangalore only one runway to handle these planes but the rest of the airport facilities have no issues
Hello Mario. This daylight flight was just a one off flight to test the readiness of BLR airport before commencing daily scheduled service from October 30th this year
Wow, Amazing to see A-380 in South India... thanks a lot for sharing...I already heard that Singapore Airlines operates A380 to Mumbai...Sir is Chennai International airport has the capabilities to handle this super jumbo A-380?. In my life, I flew several times in this A380 with Emirates EK 72, EK 71, EK 73 & EK74 (Paris to Chennai via Dubai and vice versa). And also Qatar Airways QR 42 & QR 39 (Paris to Chennai via Doha and vice versa).
Hi to what I’ve heard from my friends in Chennai, the airport can let the A 380 land but it doesn’t have big enough of taxi ways and the terminal isn’t big enough to handle the A380 and the 747, there are other reasons too like most of the airlines don’t see the point if sending its A380 to Chennai until they see and big big rise in customer which Chennai hasn’t gotten yet.
Yes it's daily service there Banglore to Sydney Flight✈️ Qantas airbus 330-200 Time 5:35pm. Departure everyday Sydney to bangalore Time 9:30 am departure everyday
Emirates A380 is phenomenal, having travelled in this aircraft quiet a few times. Across the globe with vivid destinations So Airbus flies even shorter duration, assuming it’s just over 4 hours from dubai to Bengaluru…
Yes Srini. It’s such a magnificent aircraft. At one point Emirates even used their A380 to fly from Dubai to Muscat. A journey which is about 45 mins. Not sure it’s still operational. Both inbound and outbound journey to and fro Bengaluru was just 03:20hrs
@@aerowanderer Indeed it’s a treat and amazing experience for the Silicon Valley of india. This would also enhance potential EK passengers to chose Airbus A380 on to their longest routes moving forward
Now they start to buy/lease second hand and refurbished a380's from Airbus. This is one of the reasons a380 has started flying to Bangalore to prove it can.
ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರುಗೆ 😊Emirates A380✈

New terminal or new airport.? Only 4 airports in India are capable handling airbus 380. Which are Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Delhi.
