Sakuraba composed for GS, and composes for ALOT of Tales. At times you can definitely hear pieces of his work from GS and GS: LA. Especially at 1:12. He is also known for remixing his old work into newer games, as can be heard in ToV with one of the battle themes sounding like Felix's theme
I love GS's soundtrack. Maybe it's the nostalgia, but JESUS does it make everything seem way more badass. It's why i love the felix theme in SSB brawl.
I'm aware of the composer... Rebirth released 2 years after Lost Age, but it's still possible he composed them together. Symphonia was between them, so perhaps he just wanted the sound later on. But he did compose Vesperia and Dawn together, there's a chunk of songs with a similar nature.
