It's Tales of Innocence and Tales of the Tempest that have patches. Hearts never got a finished patch unless I missed a project by someone that wasn't Kaji.
Nope. There's no ToH english. There is partially translated patch, but it specifically disables saving feature. And the second patch only covers a one section of the game, and it auto-resets if you get past that part. Either case, you're not going to be able to play through the game (unless you're using emulator and just saving state with the first patch). My suggestion to you is to just use an english guide (gamefaqs does it well). Learning to read Japanese (which only takes about few hours) REALLY helps. There's also Keroro RPG. I find that to be more fun, since I hate ToH's Spir Maze. And helluva lot easier to read, since there's almost no kanji without furigana.
This is one of my favourites R.P.Gs is easy to play, has all jobs of a R.P.G and has battle formations. Tales oh Hearts battle formations: Xing - Ines - Kunzite. Kohaku - Beryl - Hisue. Now think about this epic battle (if it exists): Xing, Ines, Kunzite vs. Dark Chalcedony (wingless), Clinochlore Duo? And this one? Kohaku, Beryl, Hisue vs. Strigeau, Incarose, Byrocks? This'd be fuc**** good!!!

Actually yeah, you're right. I've heard the original track enough to the point I remember each part. And I did manage to find and download the CD OST version's arranged bonus track. Not too extreme and overdone (like S.S.H.), but still a good remix that's tame and great. :3 It's stuck in my head ever since typing this. Love new not-as-overdone elements. = w = Shame I couldn't find it on TH-cam anywhere else though.
Someone should rip the Tales of series cameos from this game, then make a custom sprite sheet with them. Reid and Rutee look a lot more badass in the cameos.. or maybe that's just me. Lloyd looks better than Nd3 as well.
I just started playing this game. I Don't know Japanese but so far im 2 hours into the game. I just don't know what the menues say. Is it possible to go through the entire game without being able to understand what I can't read? Im sure im going to run in to something somewhere where im not going to be able to do something because I can't fucking read japanese!

Did they omit Tetsu from Hearts R? He's nowhere in the game? Was he drastically redesigned into Striegov?
I find it weird Tetsu gets so many appearances in the game to the point that I wonder if he was originally meant to be part of the main cast XD

That version of Fighting of the Spirit is the worst. I'd preffer hearing something akin to SNES Phantasia/Symphonia's version of that theme.

Tales of Vesperia came out in Japan on Xbox on August 7th 2008 and Tales of Hearts came out December 18th 2008.
