13:20 i completely understand what you’re saying about evening updates not feeling as bright and not liking them but i honestly love them just as much. the evening updates feel so cozy and the day updates feel so bright and happy 💗
I did a 5 month cycle of accutane when I was 15, im 32 now, and I will say months 2-3 are the worst physically and mentally. but I didn't have a spot of YEARS after I finished my cycle. even now, my acne has never been as bad as it was before accutane. It's totally worth it! I will recommend to keep it simple with the skin care. I always had aquaphor with me, and you only need a very very thin layer. Lots of luck with your accutane journey!
i’m really hoping it works wonders for me!! have defo heard it gets a lot worse before it gets better so i’m trying to prepare myself for that! and thank you so much🤍
Currently on my third cycle of accutane. The skin care you bought is great and should do, I feel like the dry lips are the worst part. Even if it's the third time I'm on accutane and works temporarily for me, I personally feel like the side effects are worth it. 💕
Hey! I work for a dermatologist and he tells me not to go crazy on skin care because they will end up canceling each other out and making things worse literally just dove bar soap for your face you can get differin gel otc (eucerin owns aquaphor) but that’s the best stuff to use ! And then a moisturizer Non comedogenic always!! usually aveeno makes sure it’s non clogging double check the box it came in (: everything you got looks good haha the internet taught you more than your doctor
I agree with your thoughts on Happily Never After! I was so sad that I didn't love it like The Love Wager but it just didn't make me feel much. It was snappy and cute, but like you said they just felt like friends who were into each other's bodies, I didn't feel where the romantic feelings came in at all.. oh well, it was still fun to read.
not book related lol* 12:00 don´t worry! acutane does have some rough side effects while you're on it but if you're prepared you'll be completely fine! Also it's one of the most 'agressive' per say methods of removing acne meaning it's super effective. I had acne since I was 9 until I was 17, tried every single cream and thing on the market, and within 3 months accutane cleared my acne and acne scars super good!
I’ve read Wild Love, and loved it. I rated it 4.75. But it was also my first Elsie book, besides the Gold Rush novella. So now I’ll back to read the rest of her series while we wait for Wild Eyes, which I think will be even better. Just for the summer is my next read after Learn Your Lesson by Kandi Steiner.
I use Elemis for my face. It doesn’t clog up my pores. I use Aveeno daily body lotion for my hands and arms three to four times a day. It works well for me. I use the Neutrogena oil free acne face wash for my acne which works well for me.
I was on acutane for 1.5 years. The entire avene Trixcera line was great. As was the aquaphor healing ointment in the large squeeze tube for your lips. Not the stick version, its a different formula.
As far as products for extremely dry skin, I was tested once and put in like the 90th percentile for dry skin and my dermatologist recommended me CeraVe moisturizing cream which is safe to use on your entire body and face. It was made with dermatologists and is the number recommended product by them for dry skin! I’ve been using it for over a year and have never had issues and has helped my dry skin SO much!! Hope this helps girly cause I know that dry skin can suck so much!!
I don't have acne-prone skin but I have really dry skin and let me just say hyaluronic acid helps with dry skin. don't worry it’s not bad. I also recommend adding a niacinamide serum because it can help with acne and other things as well because it’s one of those ingredients that helps with a lot of things. I would also recommend using a gentle cleanser. You don’t want to use a cleanser that leaves your skin dry after using it you want a cleanser that leaves your skin clean without feeling dry. Also make sure to check the ingredients of your skincare to make sure there’s no harmful or harsh ingredients for your skin. Some ingredients you want to avoid are certain alcohol’s, cirrus ingredients, and fragrance. If you don’t know if an ingredient is good or bad you can use the Paula choice skin care dictionary. You just type in the skincare ingredient and it tells you if it’s good or bad for your skin and what it does. Sorry if I typed a lot I use love talking about skincare. I hoped this helped.
My husband has a lot of skin problems on his face (dry patches on his skin that also gets really sweaty because we live in Central Florida) and uses Eucerin Aquafor (in the spray form) and its the only thing that works for him. Moisturizes without being too much.
I know you said you don’t read the epilogues usually but at the end of Wild Love, it gives you chapter one of the next book! 😂 It’s West and Skylar Stone! X
Firstly let me say, you are my go-to girly for books recs, like as you know I’m not the biggest pure romance fan but damn, you make me want to read them like HOW DO YOU DO THIS?🤣🤣 I was buzzing for Happily Never After, like it sounded fun and a good concept and the cover was cute af but hmm, I don’t know it seemed a bit anticlimactic🤷🏻♀️ like I trust your opinions and I feel like I need to finally read my Elsie Silver Chestnut Springs books!! This is my sign I reckon! I have them all except the newest one and they’re all sat there looking beautiful and I’ve just not picked them up yet!!🙈😭 I need to manifest the romance era! Also amazing about accutane, I was going to go down that route but my doctor was really rude so I gave up haha, the number one thing that helped me hands down was water! My skin was horrendous and had hyperpigmentation scars for years but water really did help the active spots! For my hyperpigmentation scars now I’m using like vitamin C, not sure how it would work with accutane though as you really need a thick layer of SPF on after vitamin C! But yeah, we working through the journey together my love 🥹 You’re gorgeous in every way, like slay queen💁🏻♀️🥰
I'm really looking forward to Just for the Summer! I worship La Roche Posay, their hydraphase serum I use to hydrate my skin and it is a god send for me personally. Also you're so close to 20k!!! 🎉
