I'm a german girly but i love to read in English and therefore watch English or American booktubers and you're definitely one of my favs! i love your videos
The novella she added to the anniversary edition adds an extra pov and it changes the way you think about the entire book! As well as other cool bonus content
World Of Books have had the anniversary edition of a love letter to whiskey a few times, just keep your eye out on the website for it and it may come back in stock x
I loved “Do your worst” and “The Roommate” ! Also I just found your channel, and recently started really loving booktube, loved your video. ❤ Belated happy birthday 🎊🎁 from USA, GA
Omg I got wrecked like yesterday, but not sure when I'm going to read it since the f1 season has just begun and I usually read them in the summer or winter break😊
Hey Ellen! I’m so glad you had an amazing birthday ❤ this video was pure happiness for me with lots of great books! I’ve read still beating and the predatory, loved both. The cheat sheet was fun and short but not the best thing I’ve ever read. Can’t wait for your next video! ❤❤
I found your channel two or three weeks ago and I absolutely love your videos! You're so sweet and funny! Wishing you the best of luck to grow more and more your community around here Just want to add that I'm watching all the way from Portugal! X 🤍
I read Six Scorched Roses as a standalone. I haven't read the others that go with it YET... and I loved it. So, I think reading it after the others is fine as well.
I loved Indigo Ridge! the FMC is the chief of police and the body was found by the property of one of the Eden Brothers 👀 I really enjoyed that it was a romantic suspense but love the found family and small town vibes as well so I hope you end up liking it 😊
23:56 I read how to sell a haunted house! It was very interesting tbh. I liked it and you kinda have mixed relationships with the characters. It gets chaotic at times but had a good ending
Omg, I LOVE your unboxing videos sm!! You've introduced me to so many books, my wishlist keeps growing every day because of your videos!! Also, Criminal Minds is amazing. It is pretty long but it's totally worth it. I basically grew up with it.
@@bookswithellen In my opinion, if u like thrillers and stuff you'll love it. Also, there are so many good episodes in the early seasons and the characters are amazing. My fav's Penelope🤞.
I loved assistant to the villain! it is pretty silly, sometimes a bit cringy, but I fell in love with it, and the second book will be released soon! Also, Six Scorched Roses is SUCH a cute novella, honestly, it doesn't tie in too much to the second book so its not a big deal to read after
I was born in a small village near Durham in the uk but when I was 16 my family moved to Kansas so that’s where I’m currently watching from Hope you had a great birthday ❤
@@bookswithellen yeah it was February of year 11 so as prepared as I was gonna be for my GCSEs so then to end up going to an American school where I was in my second year of high school was a big change but honestly it was a change for the better but I would happily move back any day
I thought Darling venom was a really good book, it's not a dark romance (in my opinion, doesn't have like mafia, stalker or killer love interest) it does have darker subjects like suicide and such. I loooved the concept and not everyone will for sure, but I like taboo romances (she gets with the brother of her childhood crush). Hope you enjoy!! ❤
Mariana Zapata is my faaaavourite author, my number 1 of hers is wait for it, I’ve rated all her books above 4 stars too, under Locke is also really good! Penelope Douglas closely follows I absolutely love birthday girl and devils night series in particular❤️
i’ve been wanting to read wait for it for aaages but it’s so expensive to get a physical copy of!! i really need to read the devils night series as well🤍
@@bookswithellen keep an eye on Vinted, im collecting the indie versions of mariana zapatas and I got kulti, Winnipeg, wait for it and Luna and the lie for £30 all together!! All never been read🫶🏼
The only horror book I’ve ever read is a YA horror novel called House of Ash and Bone by Joel A. Sutherland. It was really good and intriguing! It was not super scary but I did get goosebumps and a chill a few times reading it! You should definitely try it out!
Hope you had a lovely birthday! I'm watching from Christchurch, New Zealand 👋 Based on multiple statements you made in this video, I recommend you check out Bloom by Delilah S. Dawson. It's a sapphic romance and is a book best read without knowing anything else about it. It's also very short (~250 pages) - I ate it up in about an hour and a half!
i’ve visited new zealand (and christchurch) a few times and i adore it there!! would move to NZ in an instant if i could. and i’ve heard of bloom before and desperately want to read it!! it sounds right up my street
Happy b-day (I'm late 😅)! I'm watching from Brazil, and having a great time. Ps: I just recently got into F1, and every time I'm watching, it reminds me of you.
I'm in fact a tad bit late on watching the video but I wanted to say that I hope you had a great birthday!! Also, I just read the Naturals and all I'm saying is that this could easily be the best book of the year for me! so good and incredibly interesting to read, I can't wait for you to do so and tell us how you feel :)
i have been informed that sea of ruin is in fact not a sapphic romance😅 so pls ignore me!! if u guys have any sapphic romance recs pls let me know!!
She Gets The Girl is one of my tops for sure!!!!
People have been raving about Serpentine Valentine so that's what I'd suggest haha

You need to get the anniversary copy of “A love letter to whiskey”. It has extra things in it that makes the book so much better!
ooohhh i didn’t know it had extra bits!! maybe i need to look for a secondhand copy!
@@bookswithellenI think the anniversary edition might also be available on kindle unlimited!
@@allhailvale omg perfect!!
