A wonderful video Brandon with a lot of good information!!! Can you give me some insight on the following: I am thinking about using 5x7, 11x14, 2:3 ratio, 3:4 ratio and 4:5 ratio as my digital art sizes. Question: which one of these do I use as my mockup? I am not sure what size to use for my thumbnail or what mockup frame size to use. Thanks in advance 🙂
Hi, Brandon. It's my 6 month on Etsy and I had 20-25 sales a month for the past 3 months now. I have about 40 reviews at 100 sales. Am I impatient or is it normal that Etsy doesn't show my listings to more people? I was hoping for at least 50 sales a month at this stage, but my sales are pretty constant. I was wondering if my Shop needs more time to establish or if I'm missing something. I have about 130 listings and I add 5-10 listings each week. I also do market research and everything.
Hi, Dhruv! It may have something to do with your keywords (SEO) and the level of competition. Always check your market to see if there are new listings that have emerged and are significantly better than yours. If that's the case, try to enhance your listing images further and ensure that your main listing image or thumbnail still stands out. If it seems that your SEO is the issue, consider refreshing your keywords. If you're comfortable with using ads, run them for a few days and monitor whether the new keywords are driving views, visits, and, ideally, new sales. Check your listings to see if they are still appearing on the first page of search results. Keep in mind that approximately 80% of sales occur on the first page, so that's where you want your listings to be found. This is the most effective way to work toward your goal of achieving more than 50 sales a month. Hope this helps! 😊
Hi there! yes - an individual can create multiple shops with the same banking information, etc. Each shop will need to have a different name and email to create the account and shop.
Best help will be if you help us get our store reinstated. Opened my shop 2 month ago and got suspended on 8 November without violating any policy. Tried to appeal twice but didn't work. I m hopeless and can't do anything about it. Please help
Did Etsy explain why your shop was suspended? They usually send an email with details on how to fix it. Check this link for more info: 115015672628-How-to-Reinstate-Your-Suspended-Account. It's best to contact Etsy's support to understand why and how to reinstate your account.
Thank you for the quick reply. I tried contacting them and the message I got was that you may have violated Etsy policy they were not specific. Should I mark any policy and reply them that I won't do repeat it in future?
I feel like that last tactic is a little bit unfair? I understand we don't want others poaching our bestsellers but that's literally what every youtuber tells us to do to others. Can you still see a shop's listing sales rates in Everbee if their sales are hidden? I can still see what sells well in a shop by organizing 'most recent' and then visiting each one to see review counts. 'in x carts' helps too, as does setting reviews by 'recency'. Given all that it's probably better just to show your sales, otherwise someone's ramping up your click-through looking at all these listings and then not buying anything. Just theorizing.
Hello Penelope! Absolutely, you can check which listings in a shop have garnered the most sales over the past month by using the Monthly Sales filter. However, keeping your shop sales hidden on your store page can be beneficial. It limits the amount of information other sellers can see when analyzing your shop.
Hi! Start small with something you're into or good at. Think about what you're passionate about and the skills you already have. If you find the niche saturated, keep digging, you might discover related niches that are way less crowded.
Hey, Brandon, just wanna let you know it's illegal to constantly run a sale. It's against the law. Just letting you know my friend. Thank you for your video.😊
@@paulmoldovan9518 it's not illegal to have a sale, but it's illegal to always be on sale. There are guidelines in US law that specify rules, including that there should be a non-sale period where the advertised full price is offered, and that the price cannot be inflated over reasonable market expectation when/before the item goes on sale.

How can be illegal to have sales?
@@paulmoldovan9518 According to commission guidelines, perpetually advertising something as a sale item qualifies as fraudulent marketing.
