Parco Natura Viva - the BEST zoo in Italy? | Zoo Review

- Parco Natura Viva near Lake Garda and Verona, is ideally located in a popular holiday region. And with a combination of safari park and classic zoo, it also has a lot to offer tourists and locals alike. So is it worth a visit on your next holiday on Lake Garda? Is it worth a trip from Verona, for example? I was promised in advance that it might be the best zoo in Italy!
But can Parco Natura Viva really live up to this promise?

Hey Martin, great idea to introduce an Italian zoo. You create such high-quality and interesting videos-I’m always impressed! Wishing you lots of success with your English-language TH-cam channel. 👍🏻💪🏻
Thank you! :)
I'm so glad you got to showcase an Italian zoo. I also love how unique that hippo exhibit is and I really love your footage.
Thank you!
I love the super descriptive overviews and thorough insight this channel provides. Also a big fan that you look at animal husbandry and animal welfare at zoos. Lovely channel, keep it up!
Thank you, will do! :)
Interesting to discover the Italian zoo where the tierpark's red-headed vultures come from.
Nice video! The modern Spinosaurus hanging out with the Knightian Iguanodons is a special kind of funny
I'm so glad that you presented a zoo from my country. I hope you'll show more zoos from Italy in the next episodes 😃
P.S. 3:55.... in past hippoes coexisted in perfect harmony with white rhinos
I'm afraid I need to get back to Italy first. I was planning on translating my German video about Pistoia, but unfortunately my footage got lost (hard drive malfunction). My trip to Rome was in 2022 and it seems like nothing major has changed since then, but I kinda wanna have an excuse to go back to Rome... :D
Are there any other zoos that you can recommend?
@experiencethezoo
My suggestions:
-Parco Faunistico La Torbiera
-Parco Faunistico Valcorba
-Parco Zoo Punta Verde
-Parco Zoo Falconara
-Zoom Torino
-Parco Faunistico Le Cornelle
-Acquario di Genova
-Safaripark di Pombia
A really nice zoo combination. Maybe this is a POI in our next italian vacation. 😊
Very interesting Video of a really beautiful Zoo 👍🏻
Great work, as always, I really enjoy your content
Thank you so much!
Congratulations on 3K followers
Always love your videos Martin(o), this is no exception.
Thank you! :)
I've been paying more attention to the zoological facilities in Italy lately because I might want to go there this year. near Bergamo there is the Parco Faunistico Le Cornelle which looks quite nice. In addition to dolphins, there are also manatees in the Genoa Aquarium. I think you can say that Italy is somewhat underestimated as a zoo country
great video. Very nice that you chose a zoo from Italy. I saw on Instagram that a video about Nuremberg would be coming next, a very good decision. After that I could imagine an aquarium, for example the House of the Sea in Vienna, or a safari park such as Knutenborg. please keep it up
I’d love to see an English video about the Berlin Tierpark once the elephant enclosure is finished or about the new rhino pagoda at Zoo Berlin. I’d be really interested in hearing your thoughts on the design! I’m sure your international audience would also appreciate getting an impression of both the Zoo and Tierpark Berlin.
I will probably do both before the new elephant enclosure is done. Seems like it will take some time... :D
@ Ahh, too bad! But anticipation is the greatest joy. Will there be a video about the Wilhelma? I’m a fan of quokkas!
Very nice !
Nice Video!
Great video 👌🏻
Thanks! :)
There's also the Zoom Torino😉 it's in Turin
more than 3K views 💪
Nice Video
Given the time between visting the zoo and actually releasing the video about it, do you think it would be possible to add a rough timeframe? Something along the lines of "Summer 2024" (or whatever)? Doesn't need to be any more precise, just some sort of indicator when you shot your footage. Great video!
Thanks and sure. I was there in May of 2023, the German video was released in the summer of the same year.
We didn't go through the drive through safari because my friend wasn't sure of eventual damage would be covered by insurance 😢. The hippo's are no longer kept with the rhino's ?
Red headed vulture were great to see. When i was there the land of giants was still a small tropical house
I didn't even know that rhinos and hippos where living together. Where was there enclosure? The current hippo one?
@@experiencethezoo yes, they lived together until 2022, when Toby (oldest white rhino in a zoo) passed
Good to know, thank you!
