The Japanese dub is emotional, sensitive and delicate while the English dub is literal chaos but it fits the anime so much more. I love both in their own ways but the accents and emotions in the English dub are a different level of hilarious. XD

there are undertones in that scene that imply theyre tiffing about the competition, though i think theyre more apparent in the japanese dub. theyre both nervous and earlier in the episode victor says yuuri suggested shopping around to shake it off, but victor wants to make sure he's well rested so he can perform at his best and basically avoid a repeat of episode 7. honestly it makes the scene a lot sweeter imo
