Actually, all launch stars currently on-screen spin a little when you spin. It's a neat little detail, not a bug.
You guys are worse than those nintendo fanboys who swear Wave Dashing is intentional in Melee, or shine spark clipping through the map is intentional in super metroid.
You can see it happen again with the green launch star in the clip immediately after this one.
I know because if you see the little thing for the 💭 it is on the toad
One of my favourite games from the last decade and it's the first time I see the Super dolphin leap, it was hilarious :p

Using that umbrella glitch, you can navigate your way over to the ship. You'd have to be very careful, though. Upon doing this glitch, I found a box that's hidden under the ground near the ship.
Actually, the Mario's normal silhouette behind the rock is supposed to happen at all times, in this game and the sequel Bee Mario and other transformations (aside from Boo Mario) don't have their own silhouettes, I guess it's supposed to show his true form or something, idk.

I have 16 stars, and I can reach the beacon. Rosalina really can't afford a hot beacon? seems so. also, near the blue Luna on the right of the bright area when you have 15-16 stars, and do a long jump towards the beacon. you will teleport to the top of the spinny thing for one frame, and then faceplant the next. if preformed correctly, when the bubble has finished taking Mario back to the blue Luna, Mario will teleport to under the green thing that's under the floor and get taken by the bubble again.

Once in the battlerock galaxy (or something like that) in the fountain, there is a different colored planet in which the colors are circles, it has a hungry luma, luma trapped in a cage, a star, a bomb generator, and chainchomps. I was once in a star and i somehow clipped in between two colored balls in the ground and i was in midair stuck and yeah, it happened randomly and i havent seen anyone replicate it, i was able to get out though. I still have hope someone might replicate it. It happened years ago, like 3-5 years and no one has done it. ;/ I was in awe when it happened.

2:17, I don't believe that this is a glitch, if you stand near a launch star and spin it spins with you. Crouching seems to get you close enough to get the star to spin.

GoldPoptart the actual glitch is that you can be launched by the star while standing on top of the glass. He just failed to do it, and decided to still keep the video in for whatever reason. Lazy editing if you ask me; there's dozens of examples of people actually accomplishing the glitch that he could have used
