Interesting..... I was just recently discussing life and the Lord with someone and it hit me then that everything here in this world is temporary and I felt relieved at the idea that I don't need to be attached to any of it .....not sure why I never thought about it before.

When you ask what we can use today to replace bread, I see a point of contextualisation. In Uganda, our stepple is Matooke, (banana), can we say, He is the Matooke , can we say, He is the Milk of life...

I’m confused as to why Jesus says in verse 46 that no one has ever seen the Father when Moses spoke to God face to face and Isaiah saw the Lord on His throne…were these not the Father? Jesus pre incarnate? That has always confused me.

Ok so I have a question. I
About 17 minutes into the sermon and I got to a church where the women wear dresses and don’t cut their hair. I’m taught that we are to be modest and separate from the world. That women didn’t wear dresses until Kathryn Hepburn started that trend. That it’s hard to be myself when you are showing your form to roaming eyes. The hair thing is a covenant with God to be aligned with His word. What do you think? Is it wrong?

Carbs...wonderful wonderful COMPLEX Carbs...yep...bread in the middle east....potatoes sweet potatoes corn in south America and Japan..along with hundred varieties of legumes...rice in Asia....the healthy staples for those healthy peoples...for thousands of years.....NOT to be confused with simple carbs like table sugar..corn syrup, fruit juice concentrate and the total rubbishy junk foods.
And then 10 years later they gonna say it causes cancer 😂
