Bought the carded sets without issue from the RAM itself. I was expecting there'd be more fuss about them. It's cool that they're the first coloured $2 coins with King Charles.
@@DantheCollectingMan I think it could be a delayed reaction. People willing to go to Woolies to get them in their change; especially with both the cost of living issue and perhaps some negative feelings towards the RAM in regards to how they conduct their releases and delays in shipping. I reckon it’ll ramp up soon enough.
None of the Olympic coins r sort after especially coins released from wollies there viewed as a cash grab n with the cost of $20 for the set these coins will b a flop
The 1st woolies i went to, which was my local, did not get their delivery. The 2nd one i went to, i bought a sugar free v can and got $10 of $2 coins in my change as she said 5 max. She was nice and i made sure i was nice too.....
Dan, Nice video with update on 2024 Paris Olympic coins. The mint sure have jacked up the prices of the coin sets. It used to be 3 $2 coins and 4 $1 coins for $15 for the 2022 Birmingham set, 2021 Tokyo set had 5 $2 coins for $15. Now it’s $20 for 3 $2 coins!
Nice coin - I hope people can get their hands on them. The Paris mint Olympic Euros are VERY difficult to get and the proof versions must be made of ‘Unobtanium’ they are so uncommon. Nice video; Thank you. Not every day you see a break dancing Kangaroo……… 😄

I was also surprised how easy it was, maybe less people are collecting them now? Dan

Imagine the look on the faces of the ancient Greeks looking at breakdancing at the Olympics 😂
And I don’t think it’s a very Australian sport? I thought it was only big in the 80s

Glad you were able to get some. It’s definitely a hit and miss game trying to get some. Dan
Hi Dan, I ordered the Olympic Coin Sets from Austpost as you know spend $30 and get free postage that's a BONUS. cheers. Stephen.
You will also get it a lot quicker than if you had purchased it from the mint. Thanks for sharing. Dan

Yes, the price of the set has moved up more the inflation. It would be interesting to know how much it actually costs to produce coins nowadays. 🤔
I bought some stuff at woolies yesterday and he was happy to give me 5 coloured coins in change 👍
That’s great, it’s nice when you get someone who is happy to give you what you’re after 👌
One Community and 10 Allezaus eventually in my change from Woolies. Happy to eventually get one set of the four coins.
Me too, hopefully it’s not too hard to get then. Thanks Dan
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks 👍
I also went to 3 woolies stores and all we're brilliant. Each store traded me 5 coins. It would be great to know how many coins each woolies got.
Thanks so much for sharing! I’m guessing there will be a million coins / how many Woolies stores 🤔
@@DantheCollectingMan I'd believe so. That's why I'm keen to know how many each woolies store received
Swimming up sh*t creek in Paris ..yaaaaayyy lol
Haha 👍
Tip : Buy from Australia Post. Spend $30 and postage is free.
Very good point. And you don’t need to wait over a month for them to ship it out… thanks Dan
Great work mate 👍
Cheers 👍
I like the design
I like that it at least has the Australian colours green and gold 👌
😅I could not get a coin for love or money. Come back and try tomorrow was my lot.
Hopefully you get some tomorrow 🤞
Our local woollies got the first one in, BUT can not get the other 3 . Just a bloody joke🤬🤬🤬
It’s definitely not a fun way to collect coins. Hopefully you get them next time. Dan
Not bad at all 👋👋
Thanks 👍

I find one
Fantastic 👍
I found the Paris kangaroo Olympic coin
Nice 👍
It is a joke every time
At least this time you can buy the full set for the RAM without having any issues. If you’re happy to pay the extra money.
