    I started telling stories, I hate it, that people use AI and get away with less authenticity!

    • @yepyepmusic
      @yepyepmusic หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      You can just input your story to an ai and just let it make stories and edit them to your own taste. That's also creative because you take inspiration from ai (a lot of it yeah) and use it to your advantage.

      ever heard of editors and proofreaders? yeah authors have that too but now its faster - we are missing the point in the video

      Originality, Authenticity, they're all lies, art is art, good art will always be good art and bad art will always be bad art, back in the day I remember there was some discussion about the internet making writers less creative because they could just look up everything instead of trying to imagine it, I don't think anyone says that now. they're just tools and tools can be used or abused but they can't alter the fundamentals of what art is.

    The problem is that AI is not perfect and it is based on the inputs given by humans. A reason for it to be manipulated by a few.

      Yeah sure ai models are not still perfect , that's the great point about it you still have opportunity and acuire some business and value, maybe so took our job and our domination over world but it's so raw , your enemy Will use nukes although if you don't , the chance of being slaughtered as a slave is less than friend but still exist , engaging on how to feed model the world data is the testimate

      I'm imagining he's a 13th century gunpowder seller and you're a old fashioned sword and shield foot soldier about to be blown apart by an incoming canon ball towards you after you said "says the gunpowder seller"

      @@Chingbong1 We'll see. Nice funny comparison but AI's value isn't as clear cut as gunpowder. Tons of money being spent on it with not much to show for results, nothing is really moving faster or getting better because of AI. It's all garbage. Anything with AI in it is lower quality. You can spot AI images, videos, even written text. It's all mostly hype right now. It has potential, but I've seen many things with high potential fizzle out due to economics. Like I said, we'll see. Currently I don't need AI and I'm highly effective and well paid with tons of experience, I'm not worried even a little bit. It's greatest potential is in software development, which I'm involved with, but still not worried. I'm the guy that tells the Devs what to build. AI can't do that, not even close.

      @@TravisLP27 AI is a tool, not trying to replace you. That’s basically what the vid says.
      Idk what you’re on about, I’m a head paralegal at a huge corporate patent firm, and my team was cut in half cause AI made work go much faster.
      Are you sure you’re not old fashioned yourself? Cause I have friends in software at google who say AI made their work shorter/faster.
      Basically if you train the right AI tool for long enough in your specific job, combining it with your human decision making can absolutely show results.
      Not to mention all the graphic designers who cut down a lot of the repetitive steps in their work in similar projects.

    As AI gets smarter, a wise way to engage it I think is like a brave manager would that is willing to hire team members that are smarter than him/her. The smarter AI now is a good reasoner with PhD expertise but hey it stills lacks the human vision in its reasoning to say the least. It cannot have a eureka moment. It is evolving though to agent->innovator->organization progressively. Can we hire someone much smarter than ourselves and manage them well? That is the question it seems to me.

    • @carloscaramelo2866
      @carloscaramelo2866 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Well not sure which field you're talking about but in engineering AI is not even close to a PhD. Even the best model seems like an idiot when asked about some concepts and equations, and that hasn't changed much from 2 years ago when the AI boom was in.

    So true...Walmart used to have an employee operate the floor scrubber machine...Guess what, there is no one in the driver's seat now...AI totally took over this position just like AI will replace translation services, farm hands, and taxis just to name a few...It looks like governments will have to implement UBI in order to alleviate the suffering...

  • @Respect2Time

    Right now it's an awesome party trick, but it seems to have maxed out way faster than anyone expected. Perhaps we're just not smart enough to implement it properly, either way shit's gonna get ugly before we reach any sort of promise land.
