for R4 do you mean to so a single crochet and an increase crochet into each eye-thingy for a total of 3 crochets to get to 18? its my first crochet project
sorry I'm not sure what the eye thingy is but it should be as how one would normally increase with a single crochet in one stitch and an increase in the next. The comma in [sc, inc] separates the sc and inc. They are not to be crocheted into the same stitch. The stitches of [sc, inc] will be repeated 6 times. As the sc & inc would add up to be 3 stitches so that times 6 gives 18. Congrats on your first crochet project! Thank you for choosing my pattern to be your first! It is such an honour!! 💙💙
