Saw a guy on cayuga in a big cruiser! With the old lady on the console going to town! He was driving! I was next to him ! He was waving happy as a lark ! Puppies were bouncing too ! Love it !!
Boat ramps are free entertainment, as a young teenager I would ride to the ramp for laughs, now this a busy saltwater ramp. So low tide very interesting, ramp slick as hell. Learned all what not to do before I could even drive. You all had some funny ass stories.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 LUV IT GUYS!!!!! DC you had me ROLL'N with your Father-in-laws story!!!😭😭😭😭 I could just picture the look on his face while he was whip'n donuts among all the other boats!😳😳😳 GOD BLESS ALL!!!!!!👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
2022 Mlf Cayuga lake... I was fortunate to be watching you pull out of the launch. One guy, who I will not name, but the boat had Academy on the side, pulled out of the water with motor scraping on the road.... Lol. All kidding aside, you guys are great. We were at Black Lake this year while you were at St Lawrence. I was so sad we didn't get to meet you guys. We were a mile down the lake in a cabin. Good luck to you all!
Fished a small lake in Brooksville Florida. Fish were biting like crazy on my spinnerbait . This Yankee was out there with 5 poles of shiners fishing out of the biggest ( Wood ) boat I ever saw ! Way too big of boat for that lake lol…. Well after 4 hrs of fishing he finally caught a bass and yelled at the top of his lungs ( FISH ON ) . Then headed to the ramp with that gigantic wood boat and I was right behind him ! He gets his trailer and the trailer looked like a 12 ft Jon boat trailer for that huge wood cabin style boat . He try’s to get it on that trailer and it’s slightly side ways . I said that boat is too small for that trailer . He says mind your own business pal lol… He starts pulling that trailer up the ramp and it falls of in slow motion and hits the concrete lol… It broke up into splinters lol….. I started laughing sooo hard , but then I realized how am I going to get my boat in with this lumber yard all over the ramp !!!
Speaking of motors breaking off. I was a kid, my dad was a commercial fisherman. We were running hoop nets on the Red River, this was back when Clark's was the main launch. They had a tournament out of there that day. We're sitting there pulling in a net off a rock jetty and I see a guy try to take a short cut to the main river. He blasts off going every bit of 60, when he hits the sandbar. The motor stayed in place, he went flying out of the boat, and boat looked like a jig being skipped across the water. The boat skipped for a solid 150 ft before it stopped. The motor stayed right there stuck in the mud. The dude lived, but damn that was crazy.
I am 77 years old and have seen it all at boat ramps. The best is when the husband tells his wife to back up the truck while he is in the boat. You talk about funny. lol.
I have watched so many of ya’ll’s videos, I’m practically in the house by now. My best rookie confession so far is leaving a corner strap. I noticed the trailer floating up! The dang trailer floated a little caddy cornered. I had to get in waist deep. Thankfully it wasn’t awfully cold.
BTW, I was backing down a ramp in the dark and noticed what I thought was a log on the ramp. I got out to discover it was a woman! She was alive, just very drunk.
Great video bro, there's a you tube channel that all he does is films people at boat ramps, some of them are really messed up! The best way to grow your channel is to create more videos, the algorithm connects more ppl to your channel when more people are watching it!
My most boat ramp oops Ive watched. 1- guy put his trailer in too deep during a high wind(19-23mph). He unlocked his ratchet on pontoon and the wind caught his boat and pulled his boat into the water sending the ratchet spinning wild, nailing his forearm. Broke that arm… 2nd was a new skeeter owner didn’t pull his trailer in deep enough. He grabbed the front hull and pushed… his fingers found the bow roller and he lost a pinkie. My boat moment was when I was loading during a high wind by my self and put my trailer too far in… I went to load and caught a wake at the same time. Roller bracket hit my hull and took a chunk out of my fiberglass. For new boat owners or even if it’s a bad day for a pro ask for help. It will save all of us some time and possibly some pain.
So we bought a Seadoo Switch (pontoon) last year so we can get the whole family out having to have fun. Seadoo sends you videos on how to get ready to get in the water, launch and load. And they say multiple times to get ready out of the way and DO NOT get on the ramp and then get ready. I give them mad respect for that.
DC I belong to a 60 member bass club. 30 members own a bass boat, 30 members are non-boaters. I’m amazed at how many boaters can’t back a Damn boat in the water. I mean dang, I unhook, line up the trailer and ramp, get in the boat and my wife backs me in the water. Takes 3 mins and she parks the truck as well. These other yeah who’s can’t even line up to the ramp. Got O Mitity!
I don’t own a boat but my homie I fish with has a 16foot John yacht with a lil 25 merc on it. First day he got it we hooked it up to the impala, got to the ramp he hopped out got in the boat and told me back that bitch down. Never backed anything but I got that bitch in the water and parked the car no problem. Blows my mind seeing all the guys that have been boating for years struggle at the ramp😂 they laugh at us for our set up, we laugh at them for looking like jackasses at the ramp😂
Watched a guy back an old Chevy truck into the salt up to the cab yesterday. He let it sit there blowing bubbles for 20min while he loaded the boat😂. Looked like he had done it many times though. That truck was rough!
I remember DC dumping his boat in at Mitchell for the turkey derby and his partner hit the North up button and DC had to jump in the boat to save it from a crash.
Gabby Thomas grad from Harvard as well, she fine. We have a house 3 blocks from the only 2 boat ramps in the little coast town in Texas and the best thing to do all summer is take the golf kart with a cooler and park at the 4 lane boat ramp. 😂😂😂😂😂
Its great when you see someone struggling and just pass by them load up before they even have their boat on the trailer. Boat ramp wise i just wish people would go and practice backing a trailer in an empty lot.
Second time loading my Ranger Z185 the winch wasn’t locked and boat flew off the trailer as my wife pulled me out. I was yelling but she couldn’t hear me. Luckily the back was in water just maybe 6” to 12” of water. We used the back of my trailer to push the boat back as I revved the motor to help pull. Ranger didn’t have a keel protector so big chip in keel and huge scratches at back of hull. Lesson learned the hard way to make sure that winch locks and is tight before pulling out. Went to fiberglass shop and he said sees that with Rangers a lot over his years in business and first question he asked was first or second time loading. He did a great job fixing the glass and installing a keel protector.
I got to many to tell lol! Yesterday kid you not a guy was backing in as I was getting in my truck to pull out and watch his entire boat slide off the trailer on the ramp..he pushed it 10 more foot in the water with the help of the entire parking lot . Seen 2 boats sunk!! One by my cousin!
Saw a guy at the boat ramp at one of my tournaments step into someone else's boat to walk to his boat beside his and when he stepped on the side of the boat he stepped into first to get into his he slipped off the side trying to get into his boat and fell right into the Okeechobee canal head first at like 6 in the morning and was holding onto the side of his boat while his partner drives him and the boat up to the ramp so he can get out of the water.funniest boat ramp scene of my life so far😂
Years ago I was night fishing and before ending the night I fished the dock where I launched. So I trolled over to dock tied up went backed trailer in. Came back started big motor and proceeded to trailer. But forgot the troll motor was down. It broke slick off at the swivel point. I still use the same ramp after many years of water level up/down. Never did see that bottom half
You want stories? 360 Bridge boat ramp in Austin off 360 (rich kids in their dads wake boat) and O.H. Ivie Resivor. The lake is 30 ft low and its a mile long 4 lane boat ramp. People watching heaven
Boat ramps are halious for sure. People used to ask my son when he was 10 back in the day to pull their boat on the trailer for them after watching him pull it up on ours. I saw a poor family not set the break on a motor home and boat. All of it sunk all the way in the lake years ago. Felt so bad for them.
Not boat related but I was pulling my kayak out of the water at the river next to a city walking trail in a upscale area and some guy came out of nowhere and said to me “ hey brotha I’m about to get butt naked and take a dip, you might want to look away or not IDGAF it’s hot out here” I got my kayak out so fast and got up out of there, people where literally walking the trail while this was happening
Theres a time and place for everything!! People need to be conciderate and have some understanding at the ramp. But your right Brah!! People don't understand their boat and trailer. Why the bunks are set a certain way. It should only take a second to load and unload your boat if you know your rig..
I was camped out right here, at Higgins Ferry, in the early spring of '92. All the gates were open on both dams; Mother Coosa was ROLLING. I was just about to light my campfire, on the hill behind the bathhouse, when I heard a commotion on the ramp. I walked down the hill to find an ol' boy in a kermit-the-frog-green 1970's model runabout boat, hanging off his way-too-shallow trailer. When he tried to back off the trailer in that current, he CAPSIZED, right there on the ramp. It was at this point that I went and got a lawn chair and a cool (outlawed) beverage and sat down to enjoy the sh*tshow. Rather than flip the boat upright in the water, he hooked the still upside down boat to his trailer and DRUG IT, UPSIDE BACKARDS, up that heavily-ridged concrete boat ramp that is Higgins Ferry. Now, I've heard some unGodly sounds in my lifetime, but I'm here to tell you, the sound of that boat being drug, upside down, up that ramp was one of the worst grinding, crunching, soul-destroying noises that I've ever experienced. That was 33 years ago, but that sight and sound is still fresh in my mind as if it were yesterday. #genuineguatemalangoatf*ck
I went fishing on the Rainbow River in Florida! Fished 8 hrs in 110 * index heat ! Got to the ramp and had to wait for 3 Dive Boat trailers ! 45 minutes! I finally got to back my trailer up and there were 30 divers wading on the boat ramp ! I was nice and said I need to get my boat lol… no one moved until I just kept backing up and only wanted to give me 1/2 inch space ! I got out and you would have thought Attila the Hun went after them lol… I (F ) bombed Men , women and children lol…. They scattered like cock roaches lol…. They went and got the park Ranger thinking he would arrest Me ! The Ranger took my side lol…. And told them to look at the f ing sign ( no divers on the boat ramp) !!!! Matter of fact every one of you leave the park now !!!!
Do not Do Not get in hurry launching your boat at ramp.If you do you forget the plug, run to first spot fish around for 15 mins at sunrise,go to move and hop off front deck in ankle deep water. 😂Run back to boat ramp in a hurry, load boat on trailer and pull up a little ways on the ramp to drain boat to then realize you didn’t hook the winch strap. The back of boat slides because of the water and your transom and 150 horse outboard is sitting on ramp half off trailer. Unfortunately and fortunately there was nobody at the ramp.Somehow got it on trailer and drain it and put back in a went fishing.😂Lesson learned just glad nobody was there to see it.
Seen a man couple weeks ago backed boat down to the water was loading brush piles into his boats when his feet hit that silt and algae on the boat ramp feet went straight up in the air and the rest of him went in the water he laid there for a good 45 seconds in the water Couldn’t help but laugh it was hilarious he was alright said he wasn’t young like he used to be
OK, boat ramp stories. I have a recent one. I had an aluminum boat that I would float off of the trailer. Easy peasy, done deal. I bought a new fiberglass boat & on my 3rd launch & and retrieve. The boat floated over the side of the trailer & damaged a fender. I'm still pissed.
Oh speaking of brand new boat and trailer. Make sure when your boat is loaded on the trailer. Your boat should be totally supported by the bunk boards. NOT ON THE CENTER ROLLER !!! Either lower your center rollers or raise the bunks . If you don't adjust it , it will crack the hull down the center which voids warranty's..
I was fishing a tournament on lake Seminole and a co-angler was backing a boat down the ramp with the truck door open....the truck door got caught on the dock and got ripped halfway off the truck
One story…me and a buddy fishing a tournament in the middle of summer, so we’re on the water and fishing by 5. Old man pulls up with his grandson to the ramp, and we’re not paying much mind to them, focusing on fishing rip rap. Old man says to the kid, “walk down the ramp with the rope and when the boat floats off, keep the boat close to the dock and I’ll park the truck and be back.” By this time we’re watching… Grandpa backs the trailer down, mind you it’s maybe it’s a 17-18’ aluminum rig with a 90ish motor on the back. Boat goes in, floats, and grandpa watches the boat float, gets on the gas a little hard pulling the trailer out of the water, and my buddy and I watch in disbelief as we see the rope to the bow eye running on the trailer, catch the right taillight, and jerk the kid into the trailer…by the time the old man figured out something was up, (us yelling) the kid was bound into the trailer, boat is fully out of the water, and at first we couldn’t get over to the ramp quick enough, even though we were maybe 50 yards away. And then we hear the kid scream in pain… We get to the ramp, and now there’s probably 10 more people at the ramp, and the kids mom is 2 minutes away so she comes to take him the ER. We had to get the keys from the old man to back the trailer under the bow of the boat, and get enough of it off the ramp to slide it back in the water and got it secured to the trailer. Found out later that the kid had a dislocated shoulder and fractured his radius and ulna in 3 spots each.
Look up guy drives boat right up concrete ramp and all the way up into the parking lot in his boat. And steps out like it was normal procedure. 😅😅😅😅 He hit that ramp at 40 mph. I LMAO Its on u tube short clips. Boat ramp failures or something like that. Your gonna piss yourself laughing i promise you 😅😅😅😅😅😅
If you are using headphones, please brace yourself about a minute in! Also, how was anyone shocked by Adrian's pontoon story? The second he gave a timeline between painting it and putting it on a trailer I thought this is not going to turn out well.
Funny thing ever A old guy and his older buddy Might be brothers ok Pulls his boat or drives his boat on someone else trailer No B's crazy as it was the guy who truck and trailer was also in his boat hollering at the two older guys stop stop not your trailer so on But better news nobody got mad the older guys truck was same color as the other one The guy ( older guy) who went to get there truck and trailer stop off at bathroom so the other older guy thought it was his truck Crazy one without people going crazy about what happen and I'm sure it was because of the age of the two guys
13 years ago I saw an Asian guy drive truck first down the ramp and into the water. We were screaming at him, waving at him from the water, but he just kept going. Buried it over the hood in SALT water. Could barely speak English, it was just so absurd. We had to unhook his boat and pull him out with my Truck, then we wanted to get him a tow truck, he apparently wanted to let it “dry out” according to his daughter (who speaks great English and has been here since she was 16), whom he had called to translate. The truck never ran again, but I did ask his daughter out. We’ve been married for 11 years now. Her dad died last year. He was a good man who worked hard for his family, but to this day it was the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen on the water.
so simple when u gte to the ramp please have your boat ready to launch your boat ties off AND LAST THING TREAT OTHERS WITH LIKE YOU WANT THEM TO TREAT U.. FACT IT SHOULD ONLY TAKE YOU 2 MINS T PUT YOUR BOAT IN THE AND OUT THE WATER PERIOD
Naw its called inconsiderate DC dont pull down the ramp start undoing straps putting coolers in the boat wife and kids and dog in the boat etc etc ill tell ya staright up ill give ya 5 mins unless you have a problem not cranking or something thats different ill try and help then but if your just taking your time ill tell ya to get the FK out the way in a hurry!!! i dont deal with folks being inconsiderate theres alot has no business with a boat really no business driving Car either lol ...keep rolling DC
Yeah. Like I’ve done it on ramps that were completely empty with nobody around, but if ANYONE is at the ramp, I’m prepping everything before I even try to get to the ramp.
Ima give yall the back up hack of all time! PLACE YOUR HAND ON THE BOTTOM OF THE STEERING WHEEL OF THE TRUCK. Then…MOVE YOUR HAND IN THE DIRECTION YOU WANT THE BOAT TO GO! Do not put your hand on top of the wheel. It’s too confusing for you smooth brain dummies to steer opposite. HAND ON THE BOTTOM!
These stories are the very reason that this retired guy that had planned to fish 7 days a week..... only fish on weekdays. Pleasure boaters caused me to want to cause physical harm.... if not worse.... to many seriously stupid ass people. Choice..... jail.... stay home.... I'm staying home.
Saw a guy on cayuga in a big cruiser! With the old lady on the console going to town! He was driving! I was next to him ! He was waving happy as a lark ! Puppies were bouncing too ! Love it !!

Mark said “I ain’t never got OUT the vehicle, that’s some trickery” 😂😂😂
Love it DC Roll Tide, please keep up the vids through the year
Roll Tide Roll
Yeah, Roll the tide out of the way so my Buckeyes can trample over them.
Gabby Thomas has us all like that bro😂

I have a video of that exact moment on my phone lmao
Yall are a breath of fresh air in the fishing industry. Keep it it up fellers
Man, the side bumpers I put on my trailer along with a Drotto latch have been the absolute best upgrades. I feel like a NASCAR pit crew at the ramp
I’m behind on commenting and liking the videos so i apologize 😂 but I’m caught up now 😂 but banger video as usual 🤘🏻
Good times always at the Boat Launch!🤣👊
yall hilarious. these are the best vids you drop DC
Awesome content, thanks!! Do a part two.
Favorite video so far.

Brooooo the zoom in to Dc telling pontoons not to back the trailer in to far couldn't have hit home any harder 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
great video!!! we all have seen some beyond belief!!!
The push to 100k subs! Let’s go!
I am 77 years old and have seen it all at boat ramps. The best is when the husband tells his wife to back up the truck while he is in the boat. You talk about funny. lol.

😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤣 too funny. If you didn't launch your old lady on the boat you ain't lived. Gotta love story time lol
My wife and I used to anchor boat in a cove and sleep on the bow to watch everyone come in late last night. Great entertainment!!
Preach!
BTW, I was backing down a ramp in the dark and noticed what I thought was a log on the ramp. I got out to discover it was a woman! She was alive, just very drunk.

The ultrex story bout had me rolling out of my chair 🤣
Adrian is correct about watching a boat ramp
Best laughs to date damn lmao
My most boat ramp oops Ive watched.
1- guy put his trailer in too deep during a high wind(19-23mph). He unlocked his ratchet on pontoon and the wind caught his boat and pulled his boat into the water sending the ratchet spinning wild, nailing his forearm. Broke that arm…

Watched 4 clowns drop a brand new 24ft Shark Cat on the ramp. One of them unhooked the safety chain before they reversed.
Watched a guy back an old Chevy truck into the salt up to the cab yesterday. He let it sit there blowing bubbles for 20min while he loaded the boat😂. Looked like he had done it many times though. That truck was rough!

Agreed!
Can't put a boat on the trailer if the boat just floats a foot above the trailer.
They never figure it out
Charlie Hamilton, that's a name I haven't heard in a while. Fished against him a ton in Saturday nighters

Seen a man couple weeks ago backed boat down to the water was loading brush piles into his boats when his feet hit that silt and algae on the boat ramp feet went straight up in the air and the rest of him went in the water he laid there for a good 45 seconds in the water Couldn’t help but laugh it was hilarious he was alright said he wasn’t young like he used to be
Saltwater boat ramps are where all the people who don’t know how to back a trailer go
OK, boat ramp stories.
I holler, YOUR TRAILER IS IN TOO FAR!!!!! 🙄
One story…me and a buddy fishing a tournament in the middle of summer, so we’re on the water and fishing by 5. Old man pulls up with his grandson to the ramp, and we’re not paying much mind to them, focusing on fishing rip rap.
Old man says to the kid, “walk down the ramp with the rope and when the boat floats off, keep the boat close to the dock and I’ll park the truck and be back.”
By this time we’re watching…
Grandpa backs the trailer down, mind you it’s maybe it’s a 17-18’ aluminum rig with a 90ish motor on the back. And then we hear the kid scream in pain…
We get to the ramp, and now there’s probably 10 more people at the ramp, and the kids mom is 2 minutes away so she comes to take him the ER.
We had to get the keys from the old man to back the trailer under the bow of the boat, and get enough of it off the ramp to slide it back in the water and got it secured to the trailer. Found out later that the kid had a dislocated shoulder and fractured his radius and ulna in 3 spots each.
MJD were you on the side by Hardee’s or the other side? The side by Hardee’s needs to be bigger in my opinion
Look up guy drives boat right up concrete ramp and all the way up into the parking lot in his boat. And steps out like it was normal procedure. 😅😅😅😅
He hit that ramp at 40 mph. I LMAO
Its on u tube short clips. Boat ramp failures or something like that. Your gonna piss yourself laughing i promise you 😅😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂😂
If you are using headphones, please brace yourself about a minute in! Also, how was anyone shocked by Adrian's pontoon story? The second he gave a timeline between painting it and putting it on a trailer I thought this is not going to turn out well.
Sorry about the audio. The podcast mic recorder had an issue
Funny thing ever
A old guy and his older buddy
Might be brothers ok
Pulls his boat or drives his boat on someone else trailer
No B's crazy as it was the guy who truck and trailer was also in his boat hollering at the two older guys stop stop not your trailer so on
But better news nobody got mad the older guys truck was same color as the other one
The guy ( older guy) who went to get there truck and trailer stop off at bathroom so the other older guy thought it was his truck
Crazy one without people going crazy about what happen and I'm sure it was because of the age of the two guys
Believe it or not, I actually saw a guy at a boat ramp with THREE turtles!! The nerve of these people lol
Straight to jail
@@DCFishing lmao
Jacob Drinking Wine?
some people don't know they're stupid...until you tell them
I caught two guys trying to steal my catalytic converter in broad daylight. They cut it over halfway through.
If you cannot back up a boat trailer with less than 2 pull ups, sell the fricken boat. Please!!!
so simple when u gte to the ramp please have your boat ready to launch your boat ties off AND LAST THING TREAT OTHERS WITH LIKE YOU WANT THEM TO TREAT U..
Folks w $100k boats that ain't never launched one gonna show up on a packed sat!!! Talk about a dumbass show!!😭
Ima give yall the back up hack of all time!
I would appreciate bleeping out all cuss words i sometimes watch with my kids.
Then send your kids to bed
