It's honestly refreshing seeing someone enjoying Dungeon Defenders so genuinely as they switch from the old console version to pc. I remember making the switch in 2014 and sinking so many hours into the game, just having a great time with some friends. It brings back all the good memories the series has provided me seeing you go through having as much fun as you have been
It really feels like im experiencing the game from scratch all over again and its been really fun. Glad i can document it and have people also enjoy the journey! Thanks for the love!
Hey Pat. I love your content. I have recorded over 1000 hours into Dungeon Defenders so coming up on this series was amazing. A few tips that I have that you might not know: 1. Having the same type of gear ( leather, pristine, chain, etc. ) in all your pieces boosts the stats on each piece of armor. 2. Your pet also gains experience. So, when you enter the upgrade for your pet, it gains experience and you can level it up for free as long as you use it. 3. You get 1.3x experience for three reasons: Not getting hit the whole round, no core damage the whole round, and using only melee and no towers. Glitterhelm caverns is also a great levelup and gear level for earlier play. Keep up the good work! I look forward to these episodes every few days.
Inspired by this series, I’ve returned to the game and started a new set of characters. Having a great time returning to this game. Thanks for uploading!
I had to subscribe as soon as i seen this. It feels like we both played on console and chose tonplay on steam at the same time because our progress is matching. I like that part because it feels like im watching normal person play the game and not somebody that know literally every detail of the game before they start it
I think there's like 7 chicken related differnt-ish items in the game. Chicken gun Chicken Baller 3 different chicken pets then event versions of the gun and baller
Killing monsters is actually quite irrelevent when getting exp. There are three big bonuses upon wave completion you can get all worth 33% more exp: 1. Don't let the core get hit 2. Don't get hit 3. Do only hero damage Alltogether meaning not building and just hitting one mob then running away to safety is the recipe for getting the most exp :3 (Killing mobs with hero damage might get you more on top of all this but it's pretty trivial in comparason)
Quick hint using the emulator going forward: ctrl+G force starts the wave, so you don't have to press G on every split or (incase you ever host something public) wait for others to ready up Also, for more xp you may wanna start throwing on hardcore in general once you feel somewhat comfy.
