I was always intrigued by this enigmatic little machine. It was like a hybrid of the Spectrum and Atari ST. I've never ever seen one in the flesh either.
The more I learn about the machine having 16 videorams over the 512k (or even I think 32 if in Spectrum videomode), the more I understand how some of these effects are possible.
As previous post suggested. The sam was supposed to have been the successor to the speccy. I wanted one but couldn't afford it . shame really . It's a nice little machine :)
@@ZXSpectrum128K we should've knocked £50 off the asking price n launched with 128kb internal & 128kb external she's a different machine with uncontentioned ram...

Hi Kaz! I'm glad to hear that from the legend of the ZX Spectrum scene!

There are still 16 videorams in Spectrum videomode. Videoram in any mode has to begin on even memory page.
@@sirdavid8919 Ahh,. I hoped there would be more. I was testing some code, and thought I could get more, but maybe I don't recall well.
Nice!
I miss my Sam. was such a great computer back in the day. should have been so much more popular.
