- Colombia has a wide variety of different foods however the bandeja paisa is the most popular one of all time. Any Colombian food menu you open the bandeja paisa will be the star of the show. So I decided to visit Medellin, the city that created the Colombian dish. I hunted out one of the best if not the best restaurant in the city serving the bandeja paisa. I brought Nora along to join me on this Colombian food vlog.

From my experience the best things tend to happen like that unexpectedly.
People say not to travel to these places but bro you’re living life out there and so are the people while I’m in a depressing room in south London watching these videos! If that’s a dangerous life I’d rather live over there than down here. Loving the content on the channel as well.

@@johnreedy9098 definitely there’s places in Kent and even some areas in London that’s are really nice to live in with a nice community with decent shops and clean streets. But here in Croydon or in areas like Newham or Wembley it’s just filth.

In Ireland we have a blood sausage type thing called black pudding. Some has rice or barley in them, some don't. I never ate it as a kid because of the way it looked but now I do like a bit of black puddin' every now and again. Especially with a fried egg

Wow that's nice to know. Some ethnic cultures here in the Northeast India too cook rice with pig blood and pork fats, adding some other condiments, especially the Naga people. I love the stuff! Lol 😀

@@americanstarman4418 It was amazing. There is so much to see and do around Medellin. The city is beautiful, the people are friendly and welcoming. If I could have given up my life at home, I would have stayed.
There is so much good food, and coming from western Europe it was a very cheap place to eat.
I did visit Glory to Gloria's, and the chicharon was enormous. Way too much for one person, but they packed it up and it took it away with me, and it was great to chew on that night with some cold beers!

I’ve tried it and it’s so true the portions are super big and food is delicious. And hay the price you can’t beat it👍. Also have to add something go to an Éxito en Medillin and see how nice the people and service. I can’t say that about a Walmart here in USA

I have only been to Colombia once, unfortunately I wasnt able to eat much of the food due to some health issues that flared up just before leaving. I wasnt able to eat fried/fatty foods, which limited my food intake in Colombia. I promised myself Ill go back and get a better experience this video made me want to book a ticket asap
