They could look at the fird thunder bird sadly the companises got to lazy and alot of peopole became stupidly attracted to SUV. Thankfuly SUV's are losing populaity with milienals and gen x so hopefully sedans and style are making a come back.
I recently bought a house and found one of these in the tall weeds behind the garage. Not sure what to do with it. But it is surprisingly in decent shape. That steel body barely has any rust. Still a solid body. And most of the motor is still there. But I am not sure if I should sell or try to restore it. I have never restored a car before.
If it barley has rust on it and you have the money then if I were you I would try to restore it if not to use or collects then to get some decent money out of it however if you have the time and space it is definitely a car you should keep if it is of your taste however if you plan to sell then if possible do some restoration before selling you could get more money out of it.
I always wondered did those have the same X frame as the Chevy of the year model or did they have a full perimeter frame? I must say is Kathy Mattea was wise she should have used this for a certain video of hers even if that one also did not get that same engine mentioned in the song...
Nice car, but unfortunate that the rear shelf was cut open for a pair of speakers. I hate it when shelves and door panels are butchered to accommodate aftermarket stereos!
The video isn't low quality first and foremost, you can adjust the quality in the TH-cam video player up to 1080p. Secondly, a closer look can be seen on the website where all the photos can be found: uniqueclassiccars.com
The front and back seats are from a late 60s/early 70s Olds 98.
That is a nice Olds I had 5 of them- the best!!
NIIIICE! They even added head rest!
Newer cars are so much more safer and fuel efficient. But they will never again have the style and eye appeal of this era.

Just don't let it sit out.

I don't remember vinyl tops in 1958
No way seats correct. Dynamic should also have reverse light in lieu of lower red tail lp.
THe seats don't look to be correct to the period. They look like '70's head restraints.
