From a fellow Missourian, of Dr. Willard, thank you for your superb framework and editing of this interview. I accidentally discovered Dr. Willard at Barnes and Noble through his exceptional work, Divine Conspiracy. I'm now on a multi-month journey learning from this great man and remarkable thinker.

What a great quote: “ we have a devotional life but we don’t have a life of devotion”

His talk on prayer rocked my world years ago when he spoke at Renovare Conference. Can't wait to see him again

I've loved Dallas for years. I am listening to him because I miss him. What he is saying reminds me of a pastor in a very large church who said to his church. If you do not have a living relationship with God, Monday through Saturday, please go home and find out if you are in fact saved or not. It is imperative that you do so.

Loved this. Thank you for the time you took to edit this. In contrast to other comments, I really enjoyed the camera work. Guess it's a matter of personal preference.

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord , there liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. Long before the spiritual formation movement God Himself was transforming me into his image by His Spirit. I`m 75 now and He is still working on me. James in WA ST

A message profound and deceptively simple. It seems prefacing Christianity on the notion of guilt as motivator has been a debilitating understanding, too often preventing growth in spiritual development over the last centuries. Dallas makes humble distinctions worth serious consideration by anyone who believes we are inseparably creatures of body, mind, and spirit -- and who can conceive that there is a Kingdom here and now, at once greater than our own or of our conceptions of control...

Are there transcripts of these videos anywhere? I’m looking for one I watched. I forgot the title. I remember some key words. Thank you for keeping this ministry available. My Men’s group are new to it and blown away.

Dallas Willard is absolutely amazing, but the camera work is seriously ridiculous and distracting, had to scroll down the screen so that I could hear what Dallas was saying!
