It’s like this that all it takes is one smart developer who knows what she/he is doing and has the right values. You don’t need to develop hundreds of products, but do a few things right. It is possible to emulate the sound of analog gear if you just think hard enough and think outside the box. But big brands rather put their money into marketing and branding.

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts on the Brainworks / Plugin Alliance "TMT" - system..."Tolerance Modelling Technology". I find myself a bit perplexed by it.
some plugins have a Input-output link option. If not then you can create this in most Daws if you spend 5 minutes to figure it out. What is more interesting is "EqualListening level gain compenation". Powair has this working flawlessly and Smart Comp also has a stellar gain compensation
one of the main strong points of ao plugins are cpu usage is not peaking upto 60% just with a single knob tweak. ive seen many paod emulation plugins that make the whole pc lag straith up when you load them. i like it how ao also doesnt have any bs hardware that dont even sound good / usable.
I've been using OSS, FIVER, TUBA and KONSOL from Analog Obsession and i can tell you it's an amazing plugin. and btw i compared the OSS compressor to Waves RCompressor and they produced the same quality.
Excellent stuff from Analog Obsession that rivals plugins from big manufacturers charging premium prices. BlendEQ, Graphack, Comper and Kolin are favourites of mine. Please do a series (YT shorts?) looking at all of Tunca's plugins - and keep trying with the jokes.
I really dont know how i havent heard of this guy's plugins, after this video i got this Brit Bundle plugins and they work so f***ng well for me. This guy is amazing!!
I had a feeling you’d like his stuff. A lot of his plugins are over my head but two I like are “Sweet Drums” which also had automatic gain reduction but you can SEE the output knob rotating down ALL BY ITSELF to compensate as you turn the input up. And the other is NCARSE which is an emulation of a Neve sidecar channel. I use to record at a studio with a real Neve Sidecar and I swear just running stuff through this plugin without touching the EQ just warns things up. I’d love to see you analyze his plugins for harmonics. He must be doing something right.
AO has BEEN THAT DUDE! UAD, Waves, Plugin Alliance they have good stuff indeed but AO has the mind of an mixer and producer when he puts his stuff together. He truly thinks of the music and not the accessories. I will always be a subscriber of Analog Obsession, ALWAYS. I still have my OG PC downloads from back in 2013
Love his plugins, still waiting what would happen if he did a reverb plugin. the LOADED plugin is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to de-essing (only the SSL vocal plugin was better)
As an Ableton user gain-staging is really annoying. Just yesterday I was wondering why this wasn’t the standard and THIS GUY FIGURED IT OUT. I’m now a proud supporter on Patreon :)
Of course it is... sometimes, depending on the day, weather, sea level and moon phase but that's all. Like all Waves plugins ! They really sound great on Fridays.
I really appreciate the fact he's not here for the money. He's just passionate about music, analog gear and programming, share it to the world, and gently ask donation so he can live of his passion. Such a nice guy, he gives first, and let the people who loves his work to pay him a bit for it. Love this kind of attitude, and I think this is way smarter than marketing shit. If you make good products, just let it speaks by itself, no need for 4 pages of marketing content before downloading anything. (hi slate, hi waves...)
Im confused what I just saw u demo these on? Is this the master insert? Ur using a pre to color and the limiter / compressor to glue the vocals and beat together?

The thing about gain compensation inside an EQ is also on TDR SlickEQ and Fuse Audio Labs RS-W2395C, but those plugins are about sutble saturation so it's not the same. I hope more devs do the same, mostly Softube inside their free Saturation Knob, which doesn't even have an output knob.

some plugins have a Input-output link option.
This is the most excited I have ever seen you! To my ears this is worth getting for sure.
Hey man, wat een geweldige video's, thx! Hoop dat je er nog veel blijft maken :D
The guy got it right cause he's honest!
This plugin here is my favorite of all the ones I have from Patreon but the guy is definitely no bullshit
His plug-ins are insanely good and even better than a lot of paid/commercial plug-ins. Mind blowing shit, dude.
I've been using OSS, FIVER, TUBA and KONSOL from Analog Obsession and i can tell you it's an amazing plugin. and btw i compared the OSS compressor to Waves RCompressor and they produced the same quality.
Priceless Reaction to the gain comp, keep being you mate...love it and love this guy, will investigate. thanks
I've used some of these, and they really do hold up. He does good work; they sound really good, and they look nice too.
I really dont know how i havent heard of this guy's plugins, after this video i got this Brit Bundle plugins and they work so f***ng well for me. This guy is amazing!!
Got a lot of AO plugins-- use them all often-- sound fantastic-- love this review!
Loaded is truly amazing, I've been a Patreon for 2 years now and I don't regret it Tunca deserves all the help.
Wow, that de-esser (preamp, comp and EQ) are really dope! Thanks for sharing the info Jack! The de-esser is absolutely top notch!
You should try his sweetvox plug in, the deessing it provides seems to me very transparent and natural
@@RareMaestroI actualy did, but Loaded was more designable and so I could tweak it more to become smooth. But sometimes I still use sweetvox
Never tried using loaded, guess I'm too lazy haha. Will actually give it a shot some time since I never really thought to do it that way
As an Ableton user gain-staging is really annoying.
Analog obsession plug-ins are very very nice, I know them from 6 months and now they are my main plugin for compressors and EQ. 👍👍🙏
Yeah expensive bullshits
I absolutely love Analog Obsession. I might have given up on my journey without them.
I've been using his LALA, Fetish and Specomp and they are great in the optical, FET and VCA compressor emulation.
Lyndell channel strip has the automatic gaincomp in the preamp too. Love it for that ❤️
They make great stuff. Any update on reviewing more
Im confused what I just saw u demo these on? Is this the master insert? Ur using a pre to color and the limiter / compressor to glue the vocals and beat together?
Review of analog obsession holycomp please ? Is a fairchild 670 emulation
I really like the music you used for this video. Any chance you'd share where I can find it and what it's called?
Bro have u found it?
@@Baldinoficial No, but I can't say I've searched for it either. I wanted to try searching by lyrics, but I suspect that the line "thinking bout you baby" will just end up showing me two million other songs instead :-).
@@Baldinoficial Decided to give it a try using Shazam and I found it. If you're interested it's a song called "Lost and found" by I'm In. Here's a link: th-cam.com/video/62TZK2jUqQE/w-d-xo.html
I use his plugins all the time! Love to see your review. Tunca love ♥
