Remember, music is for free nowadays, why paying for something to make a free product finally? Makes no sense. At least offer acceptable prices. EXAMPLE you sell a plugin for 200 usd 800 times = 160.000 usd, now you sell it 80.000 times for 15 usd = 1.2 Mio usd!!! That's business, that's profit that is clever! The RANT made me laugh, because, even if you have only "one" mouse as you say, you can control TWO knobs. Having only ONE knob is nice, but why "BIG" names don't do like Decaptitator by Soundtoys, for instance, I don't know... (you have an "auto" setting, which does exactly what you describe, that is, you turn up the gain, then the other one (output) turns down.
I really like his plugins a lot. There’s a multi-pre plugin that gives a lot of different saturation options...all of his stuff seems to be useful as heck!

I grabbed his plugins just last night and got inspired right off the bat. I appreciate what you say about the pay and this guy will get some love from me!
You made a comment that to me really hit the nail on the head regarding plugins. "I don't know if this sounds accurate but it sounds good." That seems to be the $5 question with any plugin. Instead of asking if it sounds like or responds like any piece of analog gear as yourself if it sounds good.
Lindell offers gain matching when engaging the preamp section of their Neve clone as well. You can turn the gain matching on/off as well. What I like about the AO version, is that it got rid of the concentric pots that drive me bonkers when trying to easily adjust settings. Having two adjustments in the same space is just terrible for me. But here's the thing... if you're a plug-in developer... it's OKAY to build your plug-ins in a way that offers alternative GUIs. Yes, giving users alternative layouts and even the ability to redesign the layout (if they have the coding skills) is a BIG DEAL.
Wow! It’s so good to see one done correctly. At any price really. But the Patreon price is good. I’m going to begin using these immediately. If I also like them, I’ll make a video showcasing them. 👍👍
Excellent stuff from Analog Obsession that rivals plugins from big manufacturers charging premium prices. BlendEQ, Graphack, Comper and Kolin are favourites of mine. Please do a series (YT shorts?) looking at all of Tunca's plugins - and keep trying with the jokes.
Analog obsession is the best!! Seriously I can’t believe I spent thousands on plugins before using these. Far better than my other paid plugins. Seriously.
AO has BEEN THAT DUDE! UAD, Waves, Plugin Alliance they have good stuff indeed but AO has the mind of an mixer and producer when he puts his stuff together. Love his plugins, still waiting what would happen if he did a reverb plugin. the LOADED plugin is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to de-essing (only the SSL vocal plugin was better)
The only thing I dislike about analog obsession is the naming convention. There are so many plugins and none of them have sensible names that describe what they do, so you have to memorize what each plugin does or go to some kind of article that explains each one.
Waves is a shit company, and their method of advertising insults our intelligence, with their constant "sales", which are actually available constantly (e.g. the "40% off sale. Limited time!" lol). If they were an honest company that didn't resort to using such sketfchy advertising ploys, I'd buy their plugins.
@@lightafluident.9950 Like dont get me wrong. Waves does have some good plugins. And when you need affordable and dependable, they're always there. It's just a lot of smaller plugin companies do what they do faaaar better now. At one time, that wasn't the case but the plugin game has evolved and Waves is no longer on top "quality" wise. They just dominate with quantity, having better GUI's, and being more well known. Thats about it. I can think of several companies that do better than them. But Analog Obession and Airwindows puts them to even more shame because all their plugins are not only better quality in general but FREE
yeah man, you're totally right about your rage against plugins that don't have autogain. it's not even super hard to implement, i don't know why they are all missing out on it. if you listen closely you will notice that also the filters in analog obsession's plugins have autogain enabled. that's partially why you didn't find them very "painful" as well. my only critique on analog obsession is that the oversampling is not turned on by default. i mean yeah i get it, they want it to be compatible with live situations, but honestly oversampling is what makes analog emulations analog, so without it it's just an eq with some digital filters pretending to be analog. but i admit that's a rather nerdy issue. the solution is rather easy after all, just overwrite the default preset in your daw and boom, perfect
Yeah i been using these for a while, and some of his stuff is amazing, and some ehh. but most are amazing. I use the neve stuff he has all the time, the emu filter awesome. Glad you spot lighted him, hes deserve to be rewarded for his efforts!

You sell a download link with an activation code only! Is it in Saudia Arabia and UAD, where fuel is for free? Why? Because there is surplus. Especially in hard corona times, I do not accept any price higher than 15 usd! Tax included!
I absolutely love Analog Obsession. I might have given up on my journey without them.
I have been watching and waiting for you to review a plugin that finally ticks all the box's for you! And finally it's here! Your frustration over gain compensation I share with you, it's been driving me crazy for years. So glad to see your reaction 😁👊🏻 I will downloading those today and donating. Thank you. 🙏🏻
I've been using his stuff for quite a while, his la2a is really good. I'm glad you made an episode on this.
These plug-ins are absolute gold. Also, I don't know what the vocalist of this track is saying but I love it!
Analog obsession plug-ins are very very nice, I know them from 6 months and now they are my main plugin for compressors and EQ. 👍👍🙏
Love your excitement over the gain compensation!
Bro you keep it so real ! Love watching you in action .
I AM PROUD OF RIDVAN from ANALOG OBSESSION , he is from turkey…
I love Analog Obsession's plugins. I also use his LA2A emulation all the time.
I really like his plugins a lot. There’s a multi-pre plugin that gives a lot of different saturation options...all of his stuff seems to be useful as heck!
great!! Thanks for giving credits to supporting people who is not only using free plugins but also pay some money to the people that are doing the job!
Big supporter of AO. Maybe it's not perfect (yet), but I'm here to foster potential.
with you 100%!
Same!
I grabbed his plugins just last night and got inspired right off the bat. I appreciate what you say about the pay and this guy will get some love from me!
You made a comment that to me really hit the nail on the head regarding plugins.
"I don't know if this sounds accurate but it sounds good."
That seems to be the $5 question with any plugin.
Have u heard about the AO new chaneve??? What do you think about the lindell80's top end? And what about the compressor....
these emotions are so sincere!
Wow! It’s so good to see one done correctly. At any price really.
But the Patreon price is good.
I’m going to begin using these immediately. If I also like them, I’ll make a video showcasing them. 👍👍
Lovely. Blows most of the DSP plugs OUT OF THE WATER. Excellent breakdown as always!
I've been using AO since early 2018, and I love the plugins I couldn't work without! I'm a Patreon; it's so worth it!
I've been waiting for this review for so long
ahah I had noticed the 1 or 2db gain in so many not free or even expensive plug ins, I'm so glad you brought it up!!!
Excellent stuff from Analog Obsession that rivals plugins from big manufacturers charging premium prices. BlendEQ, Graphack, Comper and Kolin are favourites of mine. Please do a series (YT shorts?) looking at all of Tunca's plugins - and keep trying with the jokes.
please do more videos on his plugins, he has a lot. Would be nice to see you test more
Been following them for a while and doing reviews because they are great for the money ie nothing lol, glad to see you've gotten them
Analog obsession is the best!!
He truly thinks of the music and not the accessories. I will always be a subscriber of Analog Obsession, ALWAYS. I still have my OG PC downloads from back in 2013
These plugins are some of THEE BEST OUT THERE!!!!! Got a few of them last week, and boy was I impressed!!!! Unbelievable how amazing these are.
I really dont know how i havent heard of this guy's plugins, after this video i got this Brit Bundle plugins and they work so f***ng well for me. This guy is amazing!!
I've used some of these, and they really do hold up. He does good work; they sound really good, and they look nice too.
Thank you for sharing, I will definitely try these plugins and support his work. 🤩
Love his plugins, still waiting what would happen if he did a reverb plugin. the LOADED plugin is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to de-essing (only the SSL vocal plugin was better)
Loaded is truly amazing, I've been a Patreon for 2 years now and I don't regret it Tunca deserves all the help.
Wow, that de-esser (preamp, comp and EQ) are really dope! Thanks for sharing the info Jack! The de-esser is absolutely top notch!
You should try his sweetvox plug in, the deessing it provides seems to me very transparent and natural
@@RareMaestroI actualy did, but Loaded was more designable and so I could tweak it more to become smooth. But sometimes I still use sweetvox
Never tried using loaded, guess I'm too lazy haha. Will actually give it a shot some time since I never really thought to do it that way
The only thing I dislike about analog obsession is the naming convention. There are so many plugins and none of them have sensible names that describe what they do, so you have to memorize what each plugin does or go to some kind of article that explains each one.
I love these Plugins!! 🔥🔥 All of them are AWESOME!!
Honestly . If u say you like it . It's got to be worth it . I like your reviews very honest and informative
just downloaded all their plug ins, they are no joke, some the compressors (FET, Variable MU, VCA) they sound mint, nailed it, very impressed by them
I'll pick Analog Obsession over Waves tbh with you
Waves is a shit company, and their method of advertising insults our intelligence, with their constant "sales", which are actually available constantly (e.g. the "40% off sale. Limited time!" lol). If they were an honest company that didn't resort to using such sketfchy advertising ploys, I'd buy their plugins.
I agree even though I love Waves. I REALLY AGREE!!!!
@@nathanmantle377 you nailed it with your comment by the way bro
Exactly, it's well known that amateurs who've never completed a decent song do not like Waves.
Suena buenísimo analog obsession!! Gracias por la review
all analog obsession plugins are great. definitely worth supporting him
yeah man, you're totally right about your rage against plugins that don't have autogain. it's not even super hard to implement, i don't know why they are all missing out on it. if you listen closely you will notice that also the filters in analog obsession's plugins have autogain enabled. that's partially why you didn't find them very "painful" as well. my only critique on analog obsession is that the oversampling is not turned on by default. i mean yeah i get it, they want it to be compatible with live situations, but honestly oversampling is what makes analog emulations analog, so without it it's just an eq with some digital filters pretending to be analog. but i admit that's a rather nerdy issue. the solution is rather easy after all, just overwrite the default preset in your daw and boom, perfect
Hey man, wat een geweldige video's, thx! Hoop dat je er nog veel blijft maken :D
YES, finally you've done it. Thank you! And yes, Analog Obsession is just amazing . . . :)
Yeah i been using these for a while, and some of his stuff is amazing, and some ehh. but most are amazing. I use the neve stuff he has all the time, the emu filter awesome. Glad you spot lighted him, hes deserve to be rewarded for his efforts!
@@costinvaly1 like I said in my comments some of it's great and some of it's ehh. I hold to that. Emu sp filter. Awesome. The neve stuff sounds great. And your really forgetting one thing it's FREE. What kind of "Karen" would complain about free. It's not like he took you for some money. Did you make a plugin and give it away for free. Until you do you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.
I love using BritChannel, its my one stop EQ + distortion + filter for when I just want to quickly work on a sound rather then stuff around with multiple different plugins.
You should do a comparison between the N429ME and the real thing since you have the eq in the studio. (I know it's most likely modded or is modeled after a unit that just sounds a bit different than his but would be interesting to see)
-I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU REVIEW SOME OF THE OTHER COMPRESSORS AND EQS, I FIND THEM REALLY GOOD
I use his plugins all the time! Love to see your review. Tunca love ♥
