Same here. Great video Coach. Got these ladders a while ago, Didn't have a good plan to put them to use, now we do. Can even do these with my son in the basement during this brutal winter! Thanks :)
Great video coach! Funny enough I bought one of these recently and now need to bust it out gearing up for the upcoming season! I really appreciated the clear demonstrations and recommendations. A very timely video for me...
Great video Ash 👌🏻 you’ve convinced me to invest in some ladders for myself, and to incorporate it more within our performance programme once we return to court 👍🏻
It really depends on what you want to get out of it… coordination warm up/cardio workout, and also your fitness level. I like to go 3 times through each one, it gives me time to improve my foot speed on each exercise before moving on.
Nice video. Thanks. How often would you recommend this to be done, say if one wants to improve their agility and footwork ( rather than maintaining it )?
It really depends on how often you play/train. You can incorporate it as a warm up for your training sessions, but it shouldn’t be your only training method. Sprint work is also important... as well as developing fast, light footwork, tennis players need big, explosive strides too, so I’d say balance ladder work with sprint work!

Thanks for these exercises!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching
Awesome.
Super... '❤
Do you recommend 4m or 8m ladder?
Depends on your space… 8m is good but 4m can be put in smaller spaces!
Good drills Add a tennis racket to them.
How many sets each should be done?
It really depends on what you want to get out of it… coordination warm up/cardio workout, and also your fitness level. I like to go 3 times through each one, it gives me time to improve my foot speed on each exercise before moving on.

No, they are actually very useful for tennis, I don't know what sport you're thinking about but it isn't tennis
