Only a small percent of people are capable of riding those machine's, i just arrived at my first 1000cc as it was a dream of mine only to feel sad that it deserves a better rider for it 😂

I would like a tad more, however my Z 650 is plenty and way cheaper to insure.

Most riders DO NOT need a bike larger than 400cc. Unless you have the skills of Rossi (Most who claim they do are delusional) get a smaller bike because they cost less to purchase, insure, operate and maintain. Unless you have access to a race track like VIR or similar there is no place anywhere you can legally ride faster than 80mph that I am aware of in the US on a public road. There is more to riding than driving beyond your ability . Slow down enjoy the scenery and explore roads off the beaten path.

This sport ain't going anywhere. Price, availability or whatever is making riding sport bikes difficult isn't really killing it, the love the one have fir this sport make him forget about this and pursue his passion, the price not going down is a double edge sword, you can benefit from it by buying the bike that you want and when you're done it barely lost any market value.
