- Hey guys, how about this for a modern fence...
In today's video we take you along for an absolute banger! You get to see plenty of grabs, of course, and you get to see part of a drop crossing, but most importantly you get to see how we install a huge, modern and very stylish fence using batons, in a hit and miss style... It's absolutely stunning if we do say so ourselves!

I’m only 15 minutes in but glad the customer is moving the shed, I couldn’t cope with the fence not going all the way to the end.
They should of moved it back abit before the installation was carried out having to faff around during the installation 🤦♂️

Stevie, next time you need to get a custom fence behind a shed, make it on a frame first then slide it in after and secure with screws where possible, perhaps from the neighbours side.😊

Good idea, me and asne spoke about that but then had the customer decide they would move the shed so we could do it all in one continuous piece :). Thanks for the comment matey!
Only thing with the fence u should of done break bonding to the timber rails to give it more strength. But HEY D&J 👍

Another great weekly edition! Ireally liked the fencing job Stevie & Ant completed for the property owner and glad he was able to move his shed so the job could be correctly completed.

Just come across this so sorry for coming late to the party. Fence looks great. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but I'd stagger the joints to give the fence a bit more strength.
You are right Stevie, my Dad always told me to remember the 6 P's "Perfect Preparation, prevents piss poor performance" Nice job guys (as always!).

Love the look of the horizontal fencing and so glad owner moved shed so it could be completed correctly. Would love to have a privacy fence like that around my patio. Turned out beautiful Stevie and Ant. Dave, that was really nice meeting and giving shout outs to the subscribers. On the grabs, that was cool seeing how easy it was removing the hedges. love the video - the time lapse of filling the bags with slate really shows how busy your yard is, people flying everywhere, vans in and out - good work!
I do like the hit and miss fencing, looks not too shabby indeed! Good to see the grabs nice and busy. Drop crossing is always good to watch. I agree Stevie the gate didn't look right.

Loved the hit and miss fencing. Ryobi has cordless nailers as well, so you don’t have to haul around the compressor, and mess with the hoses. Both 16 and 18 gauge. Great video as always. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Of all the quarries I went to over the years that one at Breedon on the Hill was my favourite. The one that used to be next to the Crich Tramway Museum was also pleasant to visit. 😎

Suggestion - You'll have to carry a small pressure sprayer full of water on the wagon to clean off your feet before getting back in the cab.

Not sure if others have said it in the comments and I'm not moaning but on the amazing fence you fitted on the central post if you stagger the joints it will blend in better than just having them butt up in a straight line.

Suggestion. Try texting a customer 10-15 minutes before you do a drop off. Letting them know that you're on the way and asking them to move/keep clear the area you wish to park Might White. Keep up with the fantastic content

I am loving this type of Venetian styled fence design. I am about to embark on my own at home. One thing if I may from an observation of the first internal batton run. Where I am in Eastbourne it can get seriously windy. My point mostly to myself really. Would it be better with a bit of hindsight to space the 2x4 timbers at 1m intervals to stop the battons from sagging or better said maybe, weather warping with gravity? just thinking because I am about to commit to a very similar job. Thanks for the video, it has made me think about so much on the pre installations. 👍. Great job lads!

Those horizontal fences look very light and snazzy, just hope they treat them with a UV protection and probably need power washing regularly .

Always inspiring to see fresh ideas for fencing. I'm going to be doing the same for a wall between my neighbours for a more aesthetic appearance. What timber did you use? Would I be okay using roofing slats?

The big problem with erecting a building close to the boundary is forgetting that they need maintaining. Both the fence and the building's outer wall's can't be maintained when they're too close. Beautiful fence, installed by two enthusiastic Professional lads.
