Haha yes this is something that bugged me, being a freelance designer is hard work every day, they show an unrealistic side as if they do that everyday. Thank you for watching man appreciate you 🙏
I was thinking this exact comment. Love seeing "the messy part", because it's not always the same but man it really is nice to see, and is wayyyy more interesting.
No, literally. Those videos annoy me so much. I'm looking for what actual graphic designers do and they hit me with what they ate during the day. And never show any of their work. It's refreshing to see something realistic for once!

I really love the idea how you didn't use any music, sounds or extra vfx for attention grabbing. IT WAS SO CALM TO WATCH YOUR VIDEO. Please keep doing it, and you earned a subscriber. 😄
Great presentation, you definitely did well on that call, you can tell! I'm a motion designer by day so it's lovely to see someone working more in the branding & design side of things. Really surprised by the video quality as well mate, superb work!
your video popped up when i needed it the most ! we had to do a progress book and a brand manual for my typography finals and this just helped me get ideas on what to actually do since i'm an animation major (i barely know anything about graphic design), thank you algorithm, and thank you for making this video.
Subbed immediately. This is such a niche that the creative TH-cam side needs ! Exactly like what another commenter said not just coffee shops and BS. You show the work!! I’m a video editor for a company and have wanted to make a channel outside of my portfolio. This is something that is giving me a lot of inspiration.
you cant imagine how much i appreciate your videos man. especially this one. my words wouldnt do justice to what i feel. just know that there are many people who literally RELY on you man. love you and expecting more.
5:01 to 5:05 client saying [ Look so good ] your laughing out loud yaaa, the effort worth it🔥 & I'm also saying this is [ so good ] your explain to client the design way it so well."
Hey man, I'km the same age as you, I've got a graphic design high school diploma (Italy's schooling system's different), moved to the Uk 7 years ago and kind of abandoned graphic design. I recently got back into it and I bought your brand guideline just over a week ago and I've been loving it! Do you have any recommendations on how to build a successful portfolio? Keep doing what you're doing!
Hey man, thank you for getting the template! Hope it’s treating you well. I’ll make a video on it dude, best to work on passion projects to fill your portfolio before you’ve got client work to show. If you mean in terms of actually designing a portfolio, Wix and square space offer great websites to build ports on
@@chidubemokey-ngene4693 Haha yes nearly. I used to use a custom build PC. I don't use it for work anymore, I still have it though because it's still a great machine
sir ,please help I want to start my logo and brand identity design journey please can you make a video on how to become one. What should we learn 1st then 2nd. What are the basic fundamental principles should we learn and so other things Please help
What’s super annoying is that, as you stated, you’re probably only doing three days of actual design work. And (at least 20 years ago when I was trying to crack into it) no one ever talked about the other stuff. No one talked about admin or how to put together a brief.
Something I struggled with at the beginning of my design journey was all that stuff, I had to really dig or make it up as I went along. So the reason I’m making these raw and behind the scenes videos is to show all those processes, briefs, presentations and how I make them. Because I know it can be really helpful info for designers that may just be starting up. Thank you for watching mate 🙏
someone who actually shows the work and not silly coffee and lunches they having under the name of day in life. wishing you more success in YT career!

Thank you for putting up this video. I was feeling a bit demotivated about my work and had been experiencing inconsistency throughout this month.
We all go through it mate, you're not alone!

Thanks man! I use a Macbook Pro M1 16inch 🤟
@FrankieHarryConnor Was there ever a time you used a Samsung desktop, like early days? I feel like I saw one of those in your early insta reels

Hi, do you tech logo design?
@@travelingwithn hey, I’m not quite sure what you mean by tech?
Teach not tech😅
@@FrankieHarryConnor Teach:) I want to learn logo design.
@@travelingwithn I don't directly teach no, there's plenty of videos out there! I just share my experiences and processes.

the truth.. designers literally spend 3-14 days of the month actually designing and the rest is admin work >.
Haha yeah, that’s running a creative business 🙏
