I recently lost my wife of 15 years. This morning we laid her to rest. I would do anything to have just 5 more minutes with her to talk with her. There is so much more we could have discussed and there is so much I will want to talk with her about in the future. I picked up her journal that she kept during her cancer battle and started to write her as a way to talk with her. But i know that can't happen. It's stupid. But with my Messiah, I can talk. He is alive and He will listen. Your song made me realize that I need to write to Him in that Journal. Only He can understand the hurt that I am going through. Only He can understand the many things that I wish to discuss with the wife he provided me 15 years ago. Thank you for this song. It's greatly blessed me.

There were years I forgot that Jesus alone could help me and I talked to myself about my trials. I didn't share with anyone my pain. Thankfully, he didn't throw me away and kept reminding me of his love and comfort. Yes, he alone can bear my burdens. Thank you for this beautiful reminder.

That has to be the most Beautiful music I have ever heard in my life.
I love this song so much. Everytime I hear it, tears flow. Depression, constant pain from illness, surviving attempts to take my own life, the loss of my best friend who was christian and was murdered, family struggles, surviving encounters with gunmen on multiple occasions, surviving two car crashes etc. This song soothes my soul. Song is truly a weapon. The story behind the hymn is amazing as well. Thanks for the song and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. By God's grace it is the best version of my favorite song, that I have ever heard. God bless you and your family.

Our first church after we converted was almost exclusively old hymns. People argue the old hymns versus new modern day church songs. I don't believe there is a right or wrong but I do know that the old Hymns definitely speak the word. The messages are direct and pierce through you as it is the Word. No, they are not as fancy as some of the current radio offerings but boy oh boy the Gospel shines through the old hymns and pack a powerful punch or just soothe your soul. Glory!!!

I traveled and sang for years until I started having many health problems, but God now just uses me in other ways. I love the Lord and praise him for his goodness, Grace and mercy and for allowing the time I had to show Jesus to this world. Until the last year I sang on my church's praise team and still sang for special occasions. Thank you again for following Jesus and his call on your lives.
