- US Secretary of State Antony Blinken evaded question on the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh fearing embarrassment. The question was asked within hours of the news that Israelis had killed Haniyeh in Tehran.
Since there are credible reports that Israelis carried out this attack in a sovereign country with the intelligence input provided by the US, Blinken did his best to avoid this question.

Blinken says nothing should derail ceasefire talks as if they can kill any and everyone and expect their adversaries to commit to peace.
Blinken acts as though he works for Netanyahu by assisting in the assassination of Haniyeh who was working on a ceasefire and exchange of hostages. This did not sit well with Netanyahu’s admitted plans and therefore Netanyahu had Haniyeh murdered so that he can stay in power and not face jail for his criminal actions.
