Anger, Anxiety, Fear, Strength, Guilt, Embarrassment, Pride and Joy all revealed in 15 seconds in this dance. Richa Chadda you stole the whole show in 15 seconds
Love, shame, hate, jealousy, not to mentioned the fact that she has to portray someone whose dancing is perfect, but at the same time, she is highly intoxicated.
She showed no anger in this performance btw but first she is kind of showing mockery to the bride like she was nothing compare to her then she showed anxiety and fear of losing the groom, then she had embarrassment after a slap and there is no joy after in the last performance time there was just sadness guilt but joy was in the early seconds
While everyone is obsessed with Bibbojaan's swan walk, I got mad at Lajjo apa's last performance. Her expression during dance step is incredible. I don't know how I can express my fondness for her. ❤
Actually most people dont seem to get the real message behind the Mujra of that last one take shot. 1st, she was humilated by the slap from her most beloved one person and she was dancing with tears in her eyes and humiliation in her face. The more she keeps dancing that grief, misery and deniable phase passes away with every two other swirls in her solo Mujra. Then as the swirls keep going by, we notice that slowly she keeps lifting her jaw upwardsand the tears seem to drying away. It resembles the term that by time, people makeover grief. It passes away, with time. But eventually, it does folks.
as a foreigner, i was completely mesmerized by this movie, the camera angles, the way this actress acted, the songs, i never thought indian culture could be so magically beautiful.

Be it video 's dance form , language, cloths everything is indian not mughal The dance form is called Kathak which used to be performed by temple dancers & actresses in ancient times. Kathak is basically older than islam itself, and has no relationship with the Mughals
The way she adorned Sehra and sat on the place of bride is the epic depiction of her melancholy and the inner desire to be with her beloved for ever.. That just for a minute she wants to live that moment & suddenly realised that it could not materialise.. And threw it ..
She realised it when the ladies behind her suddenly stand up as they can't sit with a tawaif. That was a scene with very deep meaning sadly it isn't present here on youtube.
In only 2 episodes, Richa Chadha left an indelible mark in Heeramandi. At 3:02, how poignantly she expressed her complete breakdown while pulling off Kathak moves as if they were second-nature to her. No Doubt About It, Why is this Not Promoted. It did not received the respect it deserves
When I first saw this song/scene/narrative of Heeramandi my heart sank.I could feel it drop to the pit of my stomach where the trauma of my own experience similar to this was gathered. Unrequited love, being misunderstood and judged, being insulted, being discarded and rejected, being delusional with my expectations from that particular person, being filled to the brim with that deadly depression which gnaws at your insides and makes you ill, and then having to dance/sing/ perform despite, all of this is uncannily familiar to me.
When Lajjo started her mujra singing those innocent lines of a broken heart looking at the bride of the man she loves, I thought, "Ah..this is the new Channa Mereya!" Don't I feel how!
How she romanticized and delusionized her unrequited romance in order to survive life's heartbreak, and how she literally drank herself to death in memory of her own joyful delusional surrender, ah don't I know how!
And most of all, how she danced that completion of her mujra even after getting slapped and publicly insulted by the man she loves, with that aching heart and painful expressions, sobbing and yet trying to retain balance and decorum in her moves,. Ah don't I know how!
Her performance in "Masoom dil hai mera" was a perfect blend of "Pyaar Kiya toh Darna Kya" and "Maar Daala". The only two characters I can imagine could relate to her pain could be Chandramukhi and Anarkali.
Her sarcastic giggle when her foster mother ordered her to look at the man she loves for one last time, and how she drifted past him without a single look and left the hall, how she winced and grasped her chest as she drank and breathed her last, are all-too-familiar. Ah those moments!
Lajjo opened my eyes and reminded me of how much I loved..and still love. In order to survive life and become like a Mallikajaan perhaps, ah what do we need to leave, what do we need to retain!
Thank you Richa Chadda for breathing life into Lajjo, and to the entire Heeramandi team for creating her!
May we all heal from heartbreak! Khudaya Khair!

Unpopular opinion but the ‘hai aap bade naam vale, bade naam vaale ‘ sounds so heavenly❤
Yesssss
When she said BADNAAM HOON BOHOT MAI the face expression seems so guilty so embarrassed that's called ACTING
I cried after this song when lajjo died in tanga cart. She left with little smile when Mallikajan said ''see him for last time'' .
A heartbreaking scene.
Did she kill herself or she die of depression
@@fatimamohamedmuhammad804 due to depression ,sadness she become alcohlic and died after over drinking of alcohol. She likes her patron Nawab Zorawar Ali Khan and want to marry with him but unfortunately she can't.

3:03 OMG mind blowing.... what an expression. 99 retake worth it. The choreography, expression, lyrics ... everything is just so perfect.... Can't believe it is Richa Chaddha with such expressions. My favourite song from heeramandi. 👍😊
Same I feel..... this is underated seen ..... and I love this song 💕
.44 is my fav in from far you can see she is intoxicated while doing circles her steps are depicting intoxication while the clap is showing sarcasm
I cried almost every time I heard this song. Poor Lajjo😢😢Finally it's out..... I was waiting for this eagerly. Hats off Richaji 🎉
This is probably Richa Chadda's best performance ever. Her expressions are fantastic. Shikha Joshi's voice is so good❤
Ahhhhaaaaa... Mostly awaited song... Ye 3rd version v kitn amazing hai...
Hum sab kitna hi lucky hai k Shreya mam ka khubsurat awaaz sun rahe hai....
No wonder how many takes she take but the performance is......unique level ..... expression dance everything.....now everyone know Richa's Chhupa Rustam talent
99 takes
Ye to classical dance hai ye kaise mujra huwa
03:02 IS WHERE THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION STARTS. THE ZENITH OF HINDI CINEMA
This will be iconic for years to come, probably the most iconic scene to come out of the show
Richa Chadha expressed the pain and the dejection brilliantly, watching on repeat and Shikha Joshi you are an amazing singer ❤😊
being a dancer myself , i can definitely say the exquisite expression she has gives is so class, its not easy to give this much expression simultaneously with such a beautiful performance
01:28 The moment when she thought to be bride and than remember her status and throw the flowers❤❤ Great Direction
Yeah. So many things in this is song.
Richa deserves a national award for her portrayal of Lajjo.
True
Okay she was good but that’s a bit much
@@San-vj3ekshe was so good and imagine she only has technically three to four scenes…I wouldn’t say it’s a bit much if people remember her as one of the biggest parts and then you see how much screentime she actually had
She was good but she got very less screen time
Richa chadda o my god her acting another level in this song.
what a perfect singing voice for Richa Chadha!! what a perfect choice by SLB and what a perfect singing by Shikha Joshi!! Hats off to all!! It's always a vision of one person and team work to create magic on screen!! YES!!! SLB is a great magician in Indian film industry.🙏
This song is the best example of the contemporary literature of that period which can become way for uniting two countries culturely together
Everyone's all praises for Richa Chadha... But Adhyayan Suman also did a Fab Job in this entire episode of his Wedding!!! 🎉🎉🎉
😢😢l
Dude he's so hot af
The way he spoke that dialogue "zorawar ali jab joota bhi maarta h to sone ka maarta h". What emotions, what expressions! Peak level of acting.
@@ishaverma9951 Hai nah!!
Exactly!
It's impossible to take your eyes off her in this performance! It was such a surprising sequence. Brilliant!
That 99 takes was worth it 👐for that last take she gives her 100% in this song👏
best song of the entire series...richa didi it will be ur milestone. your expression, attitude, acting....outstanding
Who is addicted to this song nd watched more nd more times😮
Me✋
Who feels that lyricist A.M. Turaz should keep writing and singer Shikha Joshi should keep singing, until all the sorrow seeps into the heart and the heart itself breaks?
Singer ne mera kale is nikal ke poche ki tarah morod diya😂
She has an amazing amazing tonal quality.
So unique
Lajjo came, lajjo saw, lajjo conquered! Lajjo ATE!
And died😢
Her all expressions are on point , she really is a gem of an actress. And the last 1minute of this song is what I'm really obsessed with, I mean the way she portrays how heart broken she is ,while crying. I've become a big fan of her acting❤. It would have been great if she had had a longer screen time.
Best Kathak choreography in the series. Classically trained Kathak dancer Richa Chadha was fantastic in her role and tragically under utilized.
I teared up watching this scene...I feel this is the best scene of the show.
99 takes and we cant help it watching at least 99 times, its as epic as pyar kiya tou derna keya.
Richa Chadha just won my heart by her impeccable performance in this series.. I was never a big fan of her before but this time .. I think I liked her the most among all the veteran actors .. her mujra performance tops all the performances I have seen in the movie .. she was flawless, made me cry and truly emoted the feelings of a heart broken girl..❤
Totally obsessed with 0:20 part
Samee no ones talking about that
That part just transports us to that era
True that ❤❤❤❤
Puri he
My fingers starts tingling
At 3:05 that cry. Ufff. Salaam hai aapki adakari ko Richa ji
Dammit!!..she nailed it!...👏
Literally that "masoom dil hai mera" got me cry😖
2:11 that badnaam hu bohot main .....ufff🥺 its incredible 😮
How could it possible! Both crying and dancing like katthak🙄 Richa ❤️
there is just something about this song. there are many nuances in her performance. she is a very talented actress and she proved it.
The voice of SHIKHA JOSHI is amazing....❤
I met her today♥️♥️😍😍🥰🥰💖💖
She is wonderful, her vocals are heart touching ❤
Ye ek performance ek taraf and pura Heeramandi ka series ek taraf… No words how beautifully performed by Richa Chaddha ❤️👏🙌🏻
My fav song of the series, listening on repeat. Mind blowing performance of Richa in the last sequence crying while dancing. Hats off
1:15 ufff this line...😢😢😢
Heeramandi k sare song ek taraf or ye ek traf....❤ voice lyrics music performance ..... Amazing 😍😍😍that haye raam is aaye...haaye ...
Best song in the whole series
And the best actress in series
The expressions are so on point ...
Just loved the dance and acting of richa. Wanted to see her more but .......
Her expressions after the slap on the music were very appreciative
Richa ke face expressions ne viewer ko dill se lajjo ke sath connect Kia hai this is really heart touching character ❤❤❤❤❤ and dance moves + story of lajjo 🫡🫡
The performance was everything, I loved it
Richa is sooo sooo good here.. uff this is masterclass in acting and dancing.. ppl compliment Madhuri's dancing all the time but in a movie/series, dancing needs to be a part of acting and not just a dance piece on its own. Richa has danced in this song with impeccable acting.. and kudos to sanjay for merging the story in almost all the songs in heeramandi so well, especially massom dil hai mera. Shikha has sung it really well
You just said Madhuri didn't act in Maar Daala, Kaahe Chhed Chhed Mohe, O Ram Ji or Key Sera Kera but only danced? How old are you? 10?
Listening till 0:47 is a therapy
So true
@@aliakbarsyed29¹112❤❤³❤
Richa Chadda's performance is just amazing. She stole the show.
The way she hugs him is so real wow richa chaddha u r such a talent👌
I get goosebumps whenever I watch this dance....it's amazing. Kudos to the team of Heeramandi... excellent performance by all
The timing of her eyes blinks with tears on every footsteps , 3.03
Took my heart away 😢😢😢
What a masterpiece!!! 💖😢 so many emotions in this song and beautifully expressed!
Woww richa nailed it... so mesmerizing and beautiful... And how melodiously and intricately Sikha Joshi sang the song!!! Woww...! ❤ Richa's expression in thus song were far more demonstrative than sharmin's whole performance in Heeramandi!!!
Ohhh man .Richa Chaddhaa ...u can dance kathak ?? !!! Supremely graceful❤❤
The stiff restart from 3:07... so heartbreaking... yet she does finish the dance, gathering every fiber of her dignity as a performer.
Still it's darn cruel to hire your ex to perform at your wedding😭
The pain she portrayed by her expressions 😢❤ Ufff mind blowing ❤
The chorus is superb! They sound like supremely skilled classical singers. The part 3:16 to 3:45 was a sheer bliss.
Rich Chaddha- that grief encapsulated everything! I could feel it! Brilliant!
The emotional depth this song holds is insane!!!!!!!! 💕💕
