Just bought this laptop and so far so good. Easy to use, thin and light, excellent specs for its portability. Not all gaming laptops are perfect but this hits the spot. Be weary of the thermals. Sound quality is okay, gets very loud even at just 50% and does the job well if you have external speakers or a decent headset/earphone.

Matik mainit yan tulad sa GS63 ko kahinayang eh ganda sana kaso nainit masyado. Kaya nag change to pc build n lang. Kapag office works good na good ang mga ganitong laptop pero if you are thinking to game on a laptop like this I recommend you na build a pc instead mag sisisi ka ang mahal pa naman.

Hi, did you note some curves on the monitor frame? My gs66 monitor is a little bent at the center and I can notice it looking from the front when closed (the upper center part of the monitor frame doesn’t touch the laptop body when closed) or even between the hinges when opened (the air space between monitor and laptop body is not uniform). Thanks for help, I hope this is normal
Do you have any recommendations po how to cool this laptop. I have ng rtx 2060 version but the cpu idles at around 55-65°c No problem naman sya sa light gaming but pag 100% cpu usage insta throttle kasi
undervolt.with throttlestop, look tutorial. 92 to 75... because the cpu is always using turbo boost, i have an i7 2.6mhz to 5.0... i put 3.6 limits on each core... it runs all games in ultra, etc etc... cause you don't need all cores running boosted when you are gaming... search for some tutorial, changed a lot. now i can play without looking at temp all the time, and reduce a lot fan noise... cpu config from fabric, thats the issues
Try changing the audio settings in the nahimic audio app, they have several options to suit your preference - which worked for me. Althought its not a huge improvement, it does make a noticable difference.
