one of the best albums.....inspired me so much.....when I met Brian, part of me wanted to bow down.....we just shared a joint instead. Neglect is the most underrated band EVER.....People need to give credit where it's due.........
Yea bro, met him at a show Neglect didn't even play at. The short lived PWAC in Lindenhurst, LI. VOD was playing (late 94/early 95) & he was just there, by himself in the crowd. So surreal. Just said whats up & how I loved his band, he was mad cool.
Brian the vocalist of Neglect was a true psycho on stage, cut himself, threw himself around the stage, along w a brutal HC voice, shame these guys never broke big like all those Victory records bands of the time.
+Rusty Kuntz .....I saw them with NO stage....that was amazing...I didn't care. broke half a molar,,,rebusted my nose...split lip.....it was ALL worth it....Brian fuckin was one of the coolest (and intense) people I've ever met. wish they did a few more shows...
You felt cheated if you went home from a show back then and didn't have some scars, a bloody nose & a couple days of wicked soreness in your legs & back from dancing!
Rusty Kuntz I seen them twice in "92 and "93" Brandon must have been subdued he didn't cut himself but moshing on the stage and getting into a brawl with an idiot who was fu**** up. He deserved it . But that's what happens when you do to many drugs. Lol. Not that I didn't smoke herb and drink myself in the late "80",s until "1993". Been sober since but don't claim straight edge til this day! Not a vegan and I still smoke cigarettes. Lol. Good Old Days of having fun without acting stupid.
great band Hardcore from Long Island N.Y. and they were great live at least the couple of times I seen them in "93 then in the early summer of " 94" when this came out! Lot,s of slamming and Moshing good times!
Listened to this since I was a kid & never EVER Herd more real lyrics than this!!! Back in the day my sister may have helped Yas get a show or two?? Her name was Martha LaBar but she's married now In AZ & Her last name t Logan!! But anyway I will always fucking Love Yas!!!!
Yeah cause aren't groove metal and hardcore super similar? Secondly, Neglect is labled as groove metal in their metallum page. And if you listen to Exhorder - The Law, it sounds like something straight from Neglect.
Not even a big hardcore fan but I will definitely be returning to this. Templars is another band whose not really part of a genre I care for but really dig. I think every genre has their gems, this is one of them for hardcore. No Trend, Virgin Prunes, Brainbombs, Cindytalk, so many outliers completely overlooked.
Why is this not considered a legendary masterpiece in the Hardcore scene
This breed of hardcore is pretty much groove metal with balls and tough guy vocals
@@ARG0T techincally it is, but still you don't know what you are talking about considering band's background and Brian Zoid himself ;)
It is but only in most f* up circles of hardcore society, for me it is maybe best band I ever heard :)
@@bugarchina Fuck backgrounds lol I know plenty about this band

Did he inspire you? So you killed yourself then? Before or after you posted this? Just like he did? Oh, wait....he DIDNT....so it's all bullshit.
Neglect saved my life
Saw them in Italy in 1994... Kickass.. Lp still does..

Soundtrack to my life in the early 90s in Mastic Beach.
I grew up in Babylon and they were (at least Brian & Derek) from Lindenhurst right next door. Saw them so many times in 94/95. Loved them
One my favorites right here
