    It's been a dream of mine to live off grid, and go anywhere I like.
    I'm not brave enough to do it, but I like the idea.

    Hi mate van looks good. Here's a tip on how to remove the pain in the arse glue, you can pick up a freezing spray in some motor shops. It will freeze the glew and with a wee chap of a hammer and screwdriver it will brake off and speed up the process. Found this out the hard way! Good luck and enjoy!

    Great job, for future reference you can get a silicone removal jel that gets brushed on old silicone and should make removal easier and quicker.

    I converted a sprinter once that could also carrry to scramies, the waiitng on parts liek special would, trimmings and all that made the 6 week project into 6 months, i had to pack it in, unless you have all the parts upfront, this camper stuff takes MONTHS! Finished a 27ft leyland tho, she was a beauty

    Loving these videos - have a gray Audi and going to try your paint repair tutorial as mine has same damage. Main reason for the post is I saw Knauf insulation in the back and I spent a few months as a machine operator for them here in Australia haha. Spun out. Terrible company to work for but make a good product.

      with that type of insulation, you shouldn't seal moisture in as it is porous i'm lead to believe!

  • @analiensaturn
    @analiensaturn 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Red lead the parts on the floor the paints missing, you will have future spills that will find their way under and pool on them . Dont forget a small gap for expansion on those hot summer days

  • @flowerchild777

    • @Mad4Motors_

      It’s common practice to remove this bar on the vw otherwise you would have a bar blocking most of the window
