Chuck is one of the main reasons I started watching UFC. Win or lose, I just liked the way he fought.
True, he’s one of the main reason why I started watching UFC
All his fights were exciting... albeit, low skill compared to today's competitors. His natural power and great chin made for awesome fights.
Lies again? Ice Bear Fighter Champions League
Me to brother.
💪🏻
Chuck Liddel is that one dude at the trailer park that has hands for everyone, their uncle, their cousin, a cop, and the dog all at the same time. Haha! But seriously, legend of the sport. Defeated by time and decades of wars, never truly beaten. Respect.
No experience of trailer parks, but I hear having a double wide is a big deal. Did you grow up in a single or double?
Nice to see Billy Paxton hanging with Clooney...rip Pax 🙏
He made the UFC. What a legend. Thank you Iceman
Nah Connor did
@@avatarhahha2222
Lol. No
@@avatarhahha2222 Yeah cause celebrities only started showing up because of Connor. Lol!
@avatarhahha2222 lol chuck was there way before connor and did way more for ufc than connor ufc was already big because of guys like chuck liddell PERIOD
short mohawk, horseshoe stash + soul patch, blue trunks with ice trim, devastating overhands... description of a legend
Growing up as a kid all the adults wanted to be chuck lol the amount of cheap mo hawks and shiney affliction tops was ridiculous
The adults?
@@MegaLaban12345you’re new here kid
Lol this
Didn't do shit in pride got beat down when he went to compete in pride
After he beat down Overeem 😂😂😂
That Chuck vs Tito was one of the first fight I watched with my dad that made me a fan of the sport
Regardless of his losses and the loss of his granite chin later in life, prime liddel is literally one of the best to ever do it and he is a small town nobody which makes his success even cooler. A fighters rags to riches story. Id jump at the chance to meet this man
Chuck was the first UFC megastar.
Chuck had an incredible career, hope his health doesn't suffer in the future
What a legend! One of the best strikers ever, him and the spider, his whole career I never seen him on the ground once
Randy
@@realife1542 yes thanks, good memory! Maybe I can count the match where he was beating the guy up threw the ping pong net as well? Lol
And his 1st fight against rampage
His takedown defense against Randallman was insane. Not an easy opponent to defend against in a wrestling situation.
@@fullyilluminated That roided up monster! Holy cow he was crazy!
His hand speed and punching power were like Tysons. Hands of stone.
lol he was nowhere near Tyson
That's how it looks to you when he fought against wrestlers, if he fought against professional boxers, the story would be a little different
Yeah he wasn't fast at all.
He wasn’t particularly fast. He was powerful but not Tyson powerful. He would be better compared to Ali. He was always at the perfect range to catch you with the end of his long reach. He doped you up with a flurry of peppering shots, and then when you didn’t know where to look, he snuck in a bomb.
..... Wrong sport and nickname.... Hands of stone is the nickname of Roberto Duran the one person Tyson credits punching harder then him.... And luckily I met both and got there autograph, met Tyson right before the Paul fight got cancelled.
Love this fucking sport like a family member. Thank you chuck, sincerely. You put your body and your pride on the line. New mma/ufc fans hate on chuck and thats a fucking tragedy.
Like you said. New fans
Why do they hate on Chuck?
0:22 girls gone wild?? lol
The most entertaining fighter of all time
100% you knew when chuck fought someone was getting put to sleep
I can’t believe the chuck has a degree in accounting. Seriously he is an accountant.
A lot of those early guys had a college degree and worked a regular 9-5. Forrest was a cop before TUF. Rich was a HS math teacher in OH. Shane Carwin is an engineer with a couple of degrees from the School of Mines. We can’t forget the 🐐…Part time HW champ and full time gibberish talking firefighter, Stipe.
@@brycesolomon9933 I'm pretty sure Tito Ortiz was a philosopher 😂
@@brycesolomon9933 O-H!
My absolute all time favorite fighter. A true badass.
Man, the console war of 2006 was something else.
Legend I hope he's okay we have to take care of him
Awesome.
A brutal knockout artist yet watching his accuracy in key moments really is something to be mesmerized by.
An excellent fighter Chuck Liddell is
Will forever be my favorite fighter!!!!
One of the baddest MF’rs to fight in the UFC
One of my all time favs! The boys and I would always chip in and get pay per view ufc and food and beers during this era. Good times
Iceman, still my favorite fighter to this day!!
BRUH I swear In all my years watching the ufc as a kid even watching the UFC now. I HAVE NEVER seen that crowd clip of the woman flashing... that's some wild stuff and just goes to show far the UFC has come from that time. Chuck alone seeing these old fights again brings me back to when I first discovered the sport, back to when I played my first UFC UFC game(undisputed 09) Chuck was like the max Holloway cheeser character in UFC 4 today lol 😂. Chuck alone was just a fighter we don't really see no more today. He was a true legend and the embodiment of the entire sport. Sucks that people don't know who this man really was today.
My favorite fighter - The legend Chuck... The best!
He has really fast combinations I think that’s why he’s so good and wrestling too
One of the legends who did it the best with those hands.. I just wish he reitired sooner to save face but still legend
No star ever burned brighter, or crashed harder. Chuck was incredible, until he wasn't anymore. That part was tough to watch.
It happens in all sports. The best have to fall. Don't remember him like that. He was/is a legend.
I dunno. Anderson Silva crashed pretty hard.
@@CurtisMoe Not as hard as Chuck. After his Rampage fight (I think) he was never quite the same. Still one of my favorite fighters (It's hard to pass Don Frye.)
@@mikehawk6120 naaa it was the knock out by Evans that did him in he lost his chin after that knock out but he still built the ufc with white and he is the goat of ufc and one of only fighters that would stand toe to toe and someone was getting laid out he knew how to put the butt's in the seats and at one point no one I MEAN NOONE COULD FUCK WITH HIM TIME GETS US ALL TRUE LEGEND AND ONE OF THE MAIN REASON UFC IS WHERE IT IS
I always wanted to see Chuck vs Forrest Griffin and Chuck vs Dan Henderson.
Chuck vs Dan would've been absolutely insane
Chuck vs Jon Jones!?
Anyone!?
@@superunicorn1001a battle of chins.
@@maloperverso8118 Timing was off. Chuck was already out by the time Jones got there. The others could of happened in their primes.
Upper body strength and leg strength and the angles and leverage he gets on his brutal punches and kicks is straight nasty
I'm a fan of the iceman
Love this 👍
Chuck ,is the Ultimate !!
Liddell, Penn, Bonnar, Hughes, Coture. The best. And I loved seeing Tito get rocked.
The KING!
My favorite ufc fighter of all time…
Chuck was the man
when you talk about Fire and Ice, kids nowadays will say Scorpion vs Subzero. OGs will say, Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz
no kids won't understand your old ass if you say scorpion vs subzero 😂
Everyone understands Scorpion Vs Sub-Zero. Mortal Kombat came out 30 years ago
The iceman Chuck Liddell
0:17 Chuck is my GOAT! His fights were like the Super Bowl every time. I hated to see him get old and KO’d so many times. But in his prime…. Damn! Ice Man!
Chuck will fu** you up. Absolute legend.
The man who took me in this sport
The Liddell prime was amazing but man..what a fall from grace for him.
After 100+ times, i still love seeing Chuck beat the hell out of Tito.. his style was unique, his power unbelievable, truly one of the best in MMA ever..
3:28 Crazy that Alistair Overeem just retired
One of the men who launched the sport
Power in both 🥊🥊🧊🧊
The goat 🐐
chuck the 🐐 liddel🤙🤙
5:55 The Chuck Lidell vs Randy Couture trilogy was the best ever!
Chuck Liddell is to the UFC what Hulk Hogan is to the WWF. The goat in my personal opinion.
Hogan is far from the GOAT.
Those 2 girls dancing after the first fight look so 2000’s
Girls looking for reason to take their shirts off back then. Now their trying to figure out how it's your fault.
Mohawks, right hands, iconic blue shorts, and cocaine. The friggin legend Chuck Liddell. This man’s legacy will be remembered for eternity.
3:45 regular sized overeem getting rekt is pretty funny
Dude had sledgehammers for fists.
Thanks chuck tido needed to come down off that horse
Ledgend ❤️💪🙏
He was born with that goofy haircut... haha, love the Iceman.
4:50 and 4:52 : From dusk till dawn 😅
What was Chuck's style of kickboxing? Wikipedia says Kajunkenbo and Koei Kan Karate but I thought he did Hawaiin Kempo? Unless Hawaiin Kempo IS Kajunkenbo but are his strikes Koe Kain or Kajunkenbo / Hawaiin Kempo?
Tito super fan here, and yes Chuck lit him up the first 2 fights, but a few things that always bothered me (albeit the outcome may have been the same) were in fight 1 the eye poke that was disregarded so Chuck could unload 20 shots bc Tito couldn’t see so all he could do was cover up. Been nice if he had a second to recover but Chuck fans just say it woulda ended the same so didn’t matter, and B) in the 2nd fight Tito was fine, sure getting ground & pounded but he was defending, and if you watch as the ref is about to jump in Tito kicks out to buck Chuck off but the timing was so in-sync its was technically too late and is always overlooked when people talk about the fight. Basically nobody who's unintelligently defending themselves would try to buck someone off, they just turtle up and quit. Tito didn't do that.
I dont think Tito wanted to fighy Chuck, but he manned up and did. The one person I think Tito NEVER wanted to fight was Kevin Randleman. Why do I think that? Look how giddy he was liftimg Chuck up in the octagon after Chuck KOd him. Tito looked like Chuck just saved his life with all the excitement he had as he picked Chuck up.
Say what you want but chuck would bang with anybody. Hagler and Liddell are my favorite fighters of all time
Wow what a career and life ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
nice
THE ICEMAN
Look at Overeem there and tell me he ain’t roused out
5:17 that is the fastest Mario has ever called a fight 🤣 if that’s him lol looks like him
God damn. I’m gonna have to start checking under my bed for Chuck Liddel before I go to sleep.
RIP Kevin Randleperson
He looks like he starting a lawnmower on Randy's face.
👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Chuck in his prime has the best offence ever. Anybody else in their prime could not beat chuck in a punch out until he got old.
Chuck easily top 5
This is a highlight video of Chuck Liddell knocking people out
Everyone he hit dropped like a dead 🦌😂😂😂
One of my buddies and I have a disagreement. There were plenty of early stoppages in Pride. He says no.
Watching Mark Coleman trying to call down a pissed off prime Kevin Randleman after an upcoming Chuck Liddell just tko's him and seeing then champ Tito Ortiz pick up the iceman celebrating the victory is so mind blowing 🤯
If your a casual ya just don't know...... and if ya know.... well then ya know 😏
Beating tito ortiz was the top of the list for me personally.
For sure .I hated that guy
Chuck should have retired after unleashing hell on Tito... I feel bad for him and the way that he went out... I'm guessing that he needed the money... He won't be forgotten as the king in the best days of the UFC... 💥
The best thing about watching Chuck fight was that you didn't have to worry about it going to the ground and somebody twisting the others guys arm or foot to win....idk about anybody else but I don't watch a fight only to see 1 guy fuck up the others guys foot for the victory. I watch a fight to see a fight. Chuck delivered.
Prime Chuck vs Prime Jon Jones would have been one hellava fight
Was that Tito Ortiz that picked up chuck when he won against Randleman?
Chuck fought the yacht, and the yacht won.
Overeem before the steroids doesn’t look like the same person.
Tito got pieced up, quick hands
Haha Tito didn't want to get in the way of the inevitable
The original BMF
A young Chuck Lindell (or Tito Ortiz) would have trouble getting a contract in today’s UFC.
It's a shame BKFC was'nt around when Chuck was in his prime
Seeing pre horse meat Overream is wild. 😂😂
3:27 This was before Overeem was roided up, notice the huge difference
Tito still has nightmares
Hard to believe this guy could do your taxes as well.
every time i see chuck liddell i just think of trevor from gta, very similar energy
Only thing that has never changed is whoooores realizing they are on camera and trying their best
5:01
He busted up Tito bad
Don't give a SHIT about the geriatric fight, Chuck is the GOAT.
The good ol' days, when fighters were trying to put the judges out of business.
And cocaine was a fighter stat.
The first fight had to be Chuck beating Tito, huh? LOL
Was the signature victory of his career I think
@@realife1542 It's just funny because Dana White loves the one who won, and hates the one who lost. So he put that knock-out of the guy he hates first, lol
