    So clear !…and got me back into magic loop for small projects as well as away from the cumbersome 4-5 d.p. Needles. You can knit both gloves at the same time with just two circulars, one for each glove. Amazing and great for travel. Thank you, the videos are so clear for just what needs to be focused.

I had trouble trying to locate the 2 stitches between the fingers and picking them up. Got some holes, but not too bad. Hoping that the second glove will go more smoothly. So far, it is.

    Hey, I have a question. IF we're knitting these gloves on 11in circular needles rather than using the magic loop technique, how do we know the amount of stitches before a needle\ during the thumb increase?

Where do I get the written pattern, I really want to knit these for Christmas presents. I’ve never seen the magic loop method either, so clever. Hi! Its difficult to assign them to specific ages, because hand sizes vary greatly, but I would say the smallest size would be approx 2-4 yrs and the 2nd smallest size would be approx 4-7 yrs. Hope that helps!

    Hi, for the smallest size it says after the thumb increases to knit until the knit portion measures 2 inch
    I've tried this with different brand fingering yarn and even went down a needle size, but I'm still getting 2 inch for the knit portion right after the thumb increases

    • @KnittingHouseSquare
      @KnittingHouseSquare  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! Yes depending on the row gauge that definitely could happen. What I would recommend in this case is just to knit two rounds after the thumb increases, then start the fingers - hope that helps!

    How to weave the end and what to do with the 8" tail?

    • @KnittingHouseSquare
      @KnittingHouseSquare  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Use a blunt tapestry needle to weave in the ends. I find it is easiest at the cast-on tail to weave the end into the ribbing on the inside of the glove. For the remaining tails, thread them to the inside of the glove, then use the tapestry needle to follow along with the stitches. If you would like you can also tie a small knot with the tail through an existing stitch before you begin weaving them in. Typically I try to weave in for about 1", then I cut the yarn. The 8" is just so you have enough room to thread the tapestry needle and move the needle as you are threading the yarn to weave in the ends. I hope that helps!

      I for one thought it was very instructive since I did not know about the German cast on method. On top of it, if you'd used your sweet time to open the drop down box, you'd have seen that there are time stamps so you can skip directly to the part that you're interested in. That way everyone is happy instead of just you ;).
