it basically changes the pixels that represent the door with the statue soo it turned to a different item different doors have different amount of pixels soo he had to get those first to get to the pixel combination that presented the zenith

Tipp: You can get the shellphone like 10 jumps after the conch, so if you are planning on getting this for a playthrough, get the shellphone instead

The first glitch he used was a desynced block glitch, then he used the pressure plate and door for what is called the Philosophers Stone glitch

you don't need a new character, it's called the transmutation glitch if you want to look up how to do it, although having something doesn't really feel rewarding if you don't work for it
