I'm also a cellist!! We played a httyd medley for our Pop Concert last year as a full orchestra. It really does feel like you're flying as you play it. It's gorgeous. Coming Back Around was my favorite to play. I found a video of it :D th-cam.com/video/FfOuif5v554/w-d-xo.html

watching httyd or even listening to the ost overwhelms me so much i just start crying. i love this trilogy so much, it was my childhood, my world, my everything. this will forever be engraved in my heart. it made me who i am now. the nostlagia, the memories, the feelings i’ve felt back then, i miss it so much.. i wish to experience this once again. what a masterpiece.

Every time I hear/watch HTTYD it feels like I'm finally found a place i belong or something amongst the dragons. I know that sounds cheesy but its true. This trilogy will always have a place in my heart and soul. Heart of a Chief and a Dragons Soul am I right lol. Perfect Playlist

i still remember watching and falling in love with the first movie when I was 6, then now I'm still addicted to it XD
I first watched and fell in love with it around 8 or 9. Still love it to pieces! Its one of those relaxing nostalgia's that still overwhelms you a bit.

I try so hard not to cry every time i see a HTTYD video or soundtrack/playlist because just knowing the series that has been my childhood and my comfort in the darkest times has come to an end just makes me so deeply upset...but in the end i always fail because HTTYD will forever be my comfort...my lifetime favourite series....my home..I will never and i mean NEVER..forget this absolutely amazingly legendary series for as long as i shall live...
This make me feel that warm feeling of my childhood, when everyday was bright, hopeful and safe. Almost everything was beautiful.

Some of these songs make me cry so hard, httyd was my childhood and my favourite movie series ever. When I hear some of these songs, I can still remember how I enjoyed watching these movies as a kid, it feels like it was yesterday. These movies will always have a special place in my heart, thank you Dreamworks.

edit: also i need to say that the first picture in practicular, the simple existence of it, it makes me want to cry. I saw it one day and it struck me right to the heart. Even before we knew what happened to other Night furies, Toothless couldnt fly with his own and that picture just holds that sadness of it. I dont know how to explain it, maybe iam the only one

Aaahhhh this gives me so much nostalgia, HTTYD was my childhood and any childhood movies of mine are definitely comfort movies, it makes me wanna tear up bc I love all my childhood movies, they make me feel alive and make me want to be a child again, it reminds me of better times where the children’s movies were actually good, i’m def gonna go rewatch the movies now

Like , literally HTTYD was my whole childhood ( i saw the first movie on repeat for like 2 years till the series premiered) I was there to see the entire journey and HTTYD was there for many parts of my life. At the end of the third movie I cried inconsolably so much that my friend was worried.
I appreciate having grown up with the franchise and seeing all the comments, it makes me happy to know that I was not the only one
