Izaya tricks someone else into riding the bike for him and then he kicks them over
So many things about this song fit him, and not just the lyrics. The progression from harmless-sounding lyrics to completely insane and terrifying, is how people perceive him, and the progression of the instrumental from quiet to loud and chaotic while the singer's tone barely changes through the song? That's him changing the world around him while staying the same himself.
And, of course, Iza-nii probably /can't/ put the remote back together.

Well...that escalated quickly lol first it was riding bicycles with no handlebars and then it was getting away with murdering people. This song suits Izaya because of his manipulative ways and I also feel like it can represent people that are used to always getting their way to the point that they lose themselves in the process.
I adore this song for a while but it makes perfect sense and is an excellent song for him. He is one of the most unusual characters I have seen in the past few years but let's just be glad that one: it's just anime (we have our own izaya to deal with) and two: that he more or less kept the chaos in Japan. Imagine if he wanted to try a true international experiment all over the place...

Ohh! I finally figure out why they say platypus in the song! Platypus means to mix things up as a individual with different talents and interest. I thought it was randomly added to song. I so don't want to start a flame world with explaining what this song is about. Heck this song could be translated in so many ways..... Anyway. Platypus! :)

I think it fits him because Izaya seems to from what I've seen think he can do anything
But I don't think that's what the song's real message is about in the first place. Isn't it more about the transformation of going from humble beginnings to corrupt with power? It's the story of the childhood friend of someone who goes through that, and they end up on opposing sides. It's pretty sad.
