    Boating in the PNW and coastal British Columbia has been our cruising grounds for 25+ years, but seeing and "experiencing" your adventures in the Bahamas makes me think about trucking our boat across country to Florida and head out across the Gulf Stream to join up with you and Julia :)

      Do it Richard!!!! You will love it.
      We are planning to head your way next summer if work allows. We will trailer across the country and put in somewhere in BC . Then we hope to make it to Alaska. Maybe we will cross paths in either location!

    Just love what you guys are doing really debating on buying the same exact boat live in South Florida. My wife and I would love to start coming over the Bahamas short little weeklong trips until My Son graduates high school then we would like to go for much longer period of time, you guys have it dialed in so well

      Thanks Jim. I hope the rest of your adventure was great. Any lasting side effects on your head injury?

      @@expeditionseanest The rest of the trip was awesome! My head is fine. Not sure what happened to me that night. I never get like that. Must have been the rum punch! Thank you for looking after me. Can’t wait to go back on my own boat in 2026! Hope to maybe run into you guys again.

    Happy Birthday Julia! Your birthday burrito looked pretty good that Michael made you. You forgot to show us how your chocolate and coconut cupcakes turned out. Hope they were delicious! The scenery looked beautiful where y'all were out bone fishing. Glad Michael caught one to show what it looked like up close. I enjoyed watching the video!

      Hey Mac- thanks for the Birthday wishes. The cupcakes were delicious - next time I would omit the coconut- didn't need it. There are so many special locations in the Bahamas- hopefully we will have years ahead to explore many of them. Always good to hear from you .

      Hi Michael, We couldn't find some of the leaks. Latter we found out it was Highfeilds PVC was perforated.poor product and poor warranty. We are now looking at a AB inflatable.

    How long do your batteries last for running the AC? How many batteries do you have on board?

    • @expeditionseanest
      @expeditionseanest  หลายเดือนก่อน

      We don’t use the batteries for the air conditioning. We only have two house batteries and they would deplete very quickly. If we want to run the air conditioning, we would use the generator but we have never had to do that. The only time it’s really hot is when we are at the marinas in the Bahamas or in Florida, and then we are hooked up to shore power .In the Bahamas, the breeze is beautiful and with the hatches open, it keeps us at a perfect temperature all day and all night

    Cool! What you guys doing for internet, Starlink?

    • @expeditionseanest
      @expeditionseanest  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes Jack , we use Starlink . Works like a dream at anchor near shore. You would need a different package to use it underway.

    What is your range?

    • @expeditionseanest
      @expeditionseanest  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It all depends on the speed we are doing.Going at high speed burn more fuel.
