That's good, enjoy the video's. In Pickering at the moment on the NYMR so I have a new video to do when I get back. New Accurscale Gordan Highlander and now the 2 class 90's plus I have purchased the Tesco containers. All the best. Mick
Hi Mike great running session with full length trains thanks for sharing I got up to eight wagons/coaches running on my layout. Thanks for tip on cleaning loco wheels keep them coming take care..
Hi Mick, hope your well, wow great video, can’t beat a full length train, shame we can’t do that in O gauge haha, looking forward to the next one, take care chief,
Hi Mark. Thanks for the view. Yes that's some train in O gauge even Pete Waterman would be pushed. I have now purchased all the Tesco containers so job done. See it on another video. You take care. Mick
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn it’s a shame I had a few stobart containers a few years back but sold them, if I was still modelling OO you could of had them, Yes indeed it would still look amazing on pete watermans layout, can’t wait for the dipole 66s have 2 on order too, take care mick,
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn 20’s, 31’s, 37’s and 50’s would be great! Would happily send you a guest loco for the video if you was interested? Been following your channel for a while and it’s a splendid layout 👍
Hi Mick, great video and you have a wonderful model railway. Regarding the long lenght of your trains yes they are very realistic but is there a danger that the weight of the trains are too much for the motors and they could burn out ?
Hi John. Good question. If the wheels slip I stop then double head or choose another loco. with the container train I have found I need to keep the wagons wheel oiled or it will start to slip and hope the motors are ok. All have coped so far. Thanks again. Mick
I have forgotten - don't remember you mentioning how many tracks are there and what is the total length for each line. Do the lines have double feeds to allow passing and storage of your long trains. Its good to know how many trains you can run at once and weather or not you mix them, passenger and freight at the same time. I did see a very long Pullman in a siding. Are you modelling an era or is the layout duilt for the trains you like best.
Hi George. I have 4 main running lines 2 in each direction which are 103 Ft in length . I can pass trains around in the platform area. I do have a storage pace in the platform area where I keep the Blue Pullmans so I don't have to keep taking them apart because I have already blown a sound decoder doing it. I do keep a couple of trains on the layout until I think they have been there long enough. I don't have room at the moment for a fiddle yard and yes I do mix freight and passenger some times. I don't model an era just run what I want. Thanks for the comment and hope I have answered all your questions. Take care. Mick
